I cannot praise Alderbrook highly enough. My Dad now needs Nursing Dementia care.The Customer Relations Manager held initial telephone calls that gave me confidence looking after my Dads Care needs.The initial visit to the Care home with the Customer Relations Manager was very professional with a full tour of the building and meeting staff.Day 1 staff made my Dad,wife and I feel very welcome. Since move in, the staff have been amazing.His room is spacious and the food is good. I feel my Dad is getting the best care to suit his needs.

Activities are great and we are looking forward to much more tha are planned.

Since my husband moved to Cherry Brook he is a different person. He is happy, well looked after, the food is very good and the staff are very caring and approachable including the manager, who is doing a very good job since his appointment. They are continually looking for ways to make improvements and keep relatives well informed.

From entering Alderbrook care home, I felt at ease with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the property. My brother is comfortable, well looked after and frequently checked on. ,I was dreading my brother moving into a home but his accommodation and care are second to none.

Since Mary moved into Alderbrook in January 2026, new management, nurses, carers and other staff have been appointed. The care that Mary gets from all staff has been wonderful. The nurses and carers are competent, and Mary is cared for professionally, compassionately and with the utmost dignity. The management and staff liaise daily with Mary and her family to improve anything that is required. Mary is settled in her new environment and she and her family are confident in the care and support she gets 10 out of 10 for everything. Thanks Alderbrook.

and i now have my mum back after she was struggling at home ! I would like to thank the amazing staff across the board, they have all welcomed her with open arms ! I visit every day and i too am always made to feel welcome from all the staff, nothing is ever too much trouble. I visit most days and see the high standard of care. The environment is clean, welcoming and well maintained and her clothes are always fresh and promptly changed. The food is clearly prepared with care and very fresh, nutritious and varied, What truly stands out is the staff, from managers to nurses, carers and housekeeping, everyone shows genuine compassion, kindness, and dedication. The managers are approachable and hands on and nothing ever feels like too much trouble, which means so much to families like ours. There is a real sense of family and community at Alderbrook

Cherrybrook is a lovely building, inside and out. The girls who give care were also lovely, as was reception, chef, cleaners and the laundry lady. Management however, left a lot to be desired. I found them poor and amateur. I had meetings with various managers, who seemed like they were listening, but in reality, they weren't. They don't employ enough care staff in order to keep costs down and Cherrybrook must generate around £1.7million per year. On one particular visit, there were just 2 care staff for 19 residents! The manager reluctantly had to bring in a couple of agency staff. My brother passed away in Cherrybrook and not one of the managers offered condolences. To add insult to injury, 8 days after his passing, whoever it was from the office, sent an invoice for £463 for unpaid care!! So no, I would not recommend Cherrybrook Care Home.

My wife Tanya came for a short respite stay again. The Staff was very Friendly and helpful. Tanya told me that she enjoyed her stay and enjoyed the company of both the staff and the residents. Hopefully she may be able to come again in the near future. I would just like to say a big "THANK YOU" to the Carers, Nurses, and all of the Staff.

Thankyou again for everyone's exceptional work, it continues to positively impact my brother's life.

To find some homely, caring accommodation that covered my husbands needs of 63 years I thought impossible, but I feel that we have really found him the next best thing to home. He has eaten and enjoyed the caring staff so I feel we have chosen well. Thank you.

"You never get a second chance to make a first impression". Cherrybrook Care Home has exceeded this! The manager has raised the bar for care homes. From the moment my father was welcomed into Cherrybrook, every staff member has taken time to introduce themselves and get to know my father. We have honestly been blown away by the manager and his team. I have never found a group of people so genuinely happy to be working together. I 100% thank the manager and his staff for their love, respect, patience, and professionalism.

When your loved ones need special care & attention, be assured that that is what they will receive at Alderbrook.

I am a resident at this care home and I can honestly say that I am very well looked after from my meds to my meals, there is always someone there to help me which is a big help for me which I need.

My family member has been in Alderbrook for the last six months and the care as been excellent. All the staff are very kind, compassionate and caring and provide a lovely environment for residents. They have also been very kind to us as a family and I enjoy visiting my relative. The home is aways clean and tidy and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food is good, all cooked on site and always of good standard

Looked around 5 homes for dad who needs a nursing home now, Cherrybrook was the last one I viewed by far the best facilities are fantastic rooms all rooms all the staff are caring and friendly. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in a really family orientated home the manager is fantastic nothing is too much trouble.

The housekeeping team were a delight and certainly kept everything to a high standard. I cannot thank the team enough for all they did in what was a very difficult and challenging set of circumstance. Thank you.
