All the staff there are very friendly and helpful they are very good with the residents the home is very clean they always ask if we want tea or coffee, and they make sure the residents are dressed well and clean im very happy for my brother to be in such a nice home.

As a family we are a considerable distance from the home and therefore rely on the staff to keep us updated. Our family member refers to the staff as being members of the family working there , therefore showing us that he feels secure and happy being there which is very reassuring for us.

Staff are amazing and very supportive my dad has been happy there for 10 plus years and he is very looked after in every way if I have any concerns I know all I have to do is call the office and they help me in every way

Very, very good- excellent staff and food exceptional. Very very helpful. Trouble is with living with the majority of residents who are in the majority senile and ill- not easy to have dialogue with or any discussion. Food excellent. Too good for me. Am left with no money for me £30.

Vane Hill manager and staff have taught me a lot. They have also helped me when I've had problems. When I first came here my memory was very poor but coming here and also the help they have given me as improved my dealing with everyday things like cleaning and going forward in life, working. I am always treated with respect and a friendly attitude when I visit and offered a tea or coffee. Often residents will always say hello and appear happy. I can ask any questions I wish.

If you would ever want to spend your days in a care home then this is most definitely the place you or a family member could ever feel more safe, welcome and at home. My brother is a resident and he loves all the staff too, always commenting on the work here they do with him. I made a visit after a few calls to the manager who is a first-class and a great guy, the staff are brilliant and all make sure everyone is being looked after and happy as they can be. The home is clean and tidy and welcoming, they worked with me so I could spend time with my brother and catch up after many years of me being away. I nearly wanted to book a room myself. The home is a credit to everyone that runs it. Well done all and thank you for all the work you do for my brother. Many thanks.

My brother-in-law has improved dramatically, both physically and mentally during his time at Vane Hill. His current, much happier disposition and condition, is a testament to the superb care and attention he has received during his time there.
