As a visiting Advocate, Nurses in the Keswick Unit usually make plenty of time to help me understand the health and care of my clients who are resident at Willowbrook even though they are constantly in demand.

Overall Experience
We are very pleased with the care provided at Willowbrook Care Home. The standard of care is consistently very good, and it is clear that residents are genuinely well looked after.
My brother is always happy and settled, which gives us great peace of mind. His needs are not only met but often anticipated, with staff taking proactive steps to support his wellbeing. This level of attentiveness stands out.
Particular care is taken with his diabetes, with meals thoughtfully prepared to be healthy and appropriate, and his sugar levels regularly monitored and carefully managed. This gives us confidence that his health is in very safe hands.
The whole team are kind, supportive and approachable, and there is a real family feel within the home. As relatives, we feel reassured and supported at all times.

We are very grateful for the care and dedication shown by everyone at Willowbrook and would highly recommend it.

Overall Experience
It took us a little while as a family to settle into Willowbrooke, but that was more about coming to terms with Dad's illness than anything else. The staff have been absolutely amazing from the start - always so supportive, positive, and caring. They really do work hard to make Dad as comfortable as possible, and nothing is ever too much trouble.

I also love that we can visit at any time of the day, it makes such a difference to us and to Dad. The food is always good with plenty of choice and variety, which he enjoys. We're so grateful for the kindness and effort from everyone at Willowbrooke - it's made a tough situation much easier for us all.

We couldn't wish for a better home with the most amazing carers. You can see they all love our dad. We just turn up with no appointment, and dad is always spotless and well looked after. Entertainment in the home is so great as well

Overall Experience

Staff on floor excellent, so caring to my husband and always ask how I am. They are so busy, more staff may help them. Food made to suit the residents' needs. Ladies clean the rooms every day (bedrooms) and all things are safe. Clothes are changed every day and washed and put back in room, sometimes only clothes go missing. They have people in to cut hair and nails. Activites are satisfactory but need more helpers so they can stay longer. Willowbrook is like a second home to me when I visit.

Since my husband has moved into Willowbrook after a rocky road with going in and out of hospital he has settled really well with the care and attention he has been getting, although he's been in only 4 months but what a difference, really pleased.
