Elmwood offers spacious, light, attractive rooms with excellent dining rooms and lounges. The gardens and sun terrace are lovely. The managers are extremely dedicated and try very hard to help with any request. They work very hard to provide residents with an experience that is as "home-like" as possible.
Elmwood offers excellent value for money compared to other homes in this area.

A charming garden and lovely feel to this care home in the pretty village of Colyford.
The cheerful staff contribute so much to the day-to-day happiness of residents.
The health side relies on a key member of staff sho is core to my mother's experience and enjoyment. The cook is thoroughly appreciated

1. Manage and deputy are excellent and are always there to talk to. Also, they are brilliant with my mother.
2. All care staff treat my mum with great care and dignity and are thorough. Communications are excellent, can't fault anybody even the cleaners keep mum's room and building very clean.

The chef is first class and there's always a great choice of food. Get to pick off a list/menu.
4. The gardens are kept lovely.
5. The bus trips are really enjoyed and lovely driver.

My mother has been a resident at Elmwood for nearly 6 years. She very much feels at home there and feels safe and secure. She enjoys good food and is able to do as she wishes. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and the staff look after her in a very caring way.

Mum was here from October to February 14th, when she died. It is a smallish home with a very big heart! Mum really didn't want to leave her beautiful flat, but the welcome and care she enjoyed were superb. ALL the staff are wonderful, kind and with a sense of humour - Mum so loved them and there was
wonderful warm mutual respect. (Mum might have been frail, but there were no flies on her!!). They are a LEGENDS and I know one lady was a huge support to Mum too. I couldn't have wished my mum to have ended her days anywhere else. XXX

Having acquired Masters's Degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Internet Computing, Soroosh had, until 2004 been working for an Internet Service Provider in Sheffield.
