Dear Diane,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and positive review of Endeavour Residential Home.

Went to the afternoon 'get together' on sun 27th July 2025. The event was very well organised and included someone singing for 2 hrs in total and was enjoyed by everyone, residents, visitors and staff, refreshments were served which was an excellent spread enjoyed by all. The staff were excellent in every way, the whole afternoon was a lovely experience and enjoyed by all. Congratulations to all the team at Endeavour.
We are so pleased you enjoyed the afternoon.A lot of hard work does go into making events like these successful and enjoyable for our residents, so it is really lovely to know it does not go unnoticed and is appreciated. Many thanks
As always the endeavour management and staff perform with flying colours well done to you all.
Thank you very much for your kind words which I will share with the team, very much appreciated.
Sadly, within a week of arriving at Endeavour dad's health declined and it was evident we were entering end of life care. From that moment on I was able to have honest conversations about dad's care needs in a very professional but also caring empathetic way. My dad received fabulous nursing care at the home supported by the district nurses, and as a family, we were also involved and cared for at a time of great personal pain. My dad was treated with the upmost dignity and respect throughout. Thank you for making the hardest time of our lives more bearable through your care.
Thank you for your kind words about Endeavour. We are delighted to hear that you were happy with the care and services provided by the team. We strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all residents and their families. It was our pleasure to care and support your your Dad, even...
All initial apprehension vanished after visiting Mum in Endeavour Residential Home. Mum was in for respite care for four weeks and every single member of staff could not do enough to help. She was made to feel welcome and that it was her home while she was there. Food menus were displayed daily along with activities. Rooms were spotless and had everything Mum needed. She was treated with care and dignity throughout her stay. Thank you to everyone involved.
Thankyou Sue for taking the time to write a review and give such positive feedback of our home, which I will share with the team. We are so pleased Mum enjoyed her stay and it was our absolute pleasure to be able to care for your Mum and we thank you for choosing Endeavour.
From the moment my mother stepped through the door at Endeavour she was welcomed with big smiles and warm wishes. We needed urgent respite care and none us knew what to expect, mum was understandably nervous and highly anxious. Both the team and the residents did their utmost to put mum at ease, they were so kind and attentive and it was no time before mum was fully immersed in Endeavour life. Mum has been very happy and has felt very safe during her stay and has built some lovely friendships. As a family we hugely appreciate the care and support that mum has been shown and would like to thank all the team sincerely.
Thank you for taking the time to review Endeavour and for your lovely, kind words. It was a real pleasure to have looked after your Mum albeit for a relatively short time, Mum adapted well into life at Endeavour and it was like she had always been here, I will pass on your thanks to all the team, and we all hope that Mum is now settled into her new environment and remains happy and content.
My mother was given exceptional care and help at Endeavour. She was made to feel welcome from the first day and encouraged to join in the multitude of activities
She settled into Endeavour very quickly and has appreciated the plentiful food, various activities, but most of all the friendly and caring staff.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. It is very much appreciated. It was our pleasure to look after your Mum, and we are so pleased she enjoyed her stay. We wish her well in the future. Regards
I visit an old friend of mine once a week. She is very happy at "Endeavour" and tells me she is well looked after. She is always clean and tidy, has her hair washed and set every week and her room is bright and spotlessly clean. I am very impressed with the staff who look after her - they are kind and attentive and pay great attention to safety. My friend tells me the food is "really good" - I don't eat there, but I am always invited to join the residents in an afternoon cup of tea and a biscuit. The residents are always at ease and clearly happy together in the lounge areas. Again, these communal areas are always clean, light and airy. My friend tells me she enjoys a variety of activities including visiting musicians. There's no doubt that the overall atmosphere is happy and relaxed.
There is always a warm welcome when visiting Endeavour Resident Home. The residents are always comfortable together in the light airy environment and very often have entertainment which I find is lovely. I have got to know the team leaders and the managers over the three years mum has been in care. I feel confident that my mum is well looked after with kindness and understanding.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review about life at Endeavour, all the team are delighted that you allow us to care for your Mum, it is an absolute priviledge, it is rewarding to hear that the hard work and dedication of the whole team is appreciated . I will ensure that this feedback is shared with every single staff member. Thank you
Mum has been looked after very well, all the cares are lovely, they all work very hard with all the residents. Very impressed.
My Nan is always well presented with clean clothes and appearance. The staff interact with her on a professional level but also with an approach that puts my Nan at ease. The staff are always busy looking after the residents and their needs but are patient when doing so. There is always a pleasant atmosphere when we are visiting.
A review of their Summer Party - was very enjoyable and everyone had a good time. They had a lovely singer, very good food, and as always very attentive staff. I cannot praise Endeavour Residential Home enough, I am so lucky to have my Mum living there.
Thank you for taking the time to review Endeavour, we are so pleased that you enjoyed the garden party along with everyone else, it is really hard work organising everything and relying on the weather, however it turned out to be a great afternoon. It is a real privilege to care for your lovely mum at Endeavour, she is part of the Endeavour family and is always happy, long may this continue.
My auntie is well looked after by a caring team. This home was recommended to us by a friend and has exceeded all expectations. The manager goes out of her way to assist in all circumstances.
Thank you for your kind words of appreciation, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us an excellent review. It is a real pleasure to look after your auntie in her twilight years [103] and long may it continue.
My Nan initially went in for respite after a hospital admission. Once well enough to return home my Nan made the decision to live permanently at Endeavour. Nan said she felt safe there and was well cared for. My Nan refers to other residents as her friends. Nan has always been a sociable lady but lost her spark over the years, since moving into Endeavour my Nan has returned to how she was. Full of fun and laughter. Nan now enjoys days out with her family members but is always happy to return home with her friends. All the staff and management I have encountered have been very kind and caring. You can see the resident's care needs are front and foremost. Everyone seems so happy when we visit. It has definitely regained my trust and faith in care home settings.
Thank you for your kind words, it is a real pleasure and honour to look after your Nan, as you know she has settled really well and now sees Endeavour as her home which is lovely. The residents are our priority and we aim to provide a Home from Home atmosphere which Nan says we have achieved and...
We realise that there are many pressures for staff in the care sector as a whole, but maybe a written care plan for residents would be an added reassurance for families.
Individuals do have an individual care plan which are completed electronically, they are no...
My mum has been here for 2 1/2 weeks having respite. The staff seem very helpful - no complaints.
Thank you for your review, I hope Mum continues to remain at Endeavour where her needs can be met, she has settled really well and made friends in such a short space of time, it is a pleasure to look after your mum and thank you for entrusting us to continue caring for her.
My mum has been living here for three years and receives excellent care. There is a very friendly and homely atmosphere which we have particularly appreciated since the lifting of covid restrictions. The staff are always caring and courteous both to mum and the family.
Hi. Thank you for your kind words and your review it means a great deal to Endeavour and the team. Thank you for allowing us to care for you lovely mum who we are so fond of, it is an honour.
There is always a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. Mum loves it here, it is home.
Thank you for your review it is much appreciated, we aim to be home from home and we are reassured by reviews received that we are getting the atmosphere right for our lovely individuals.
I find all the staff to be friendly, polite and helpful. My mum is always clean, tidy and dressed properly. I feel that she is safe and secure. The home is well-maintained and decorated. The food is excellent and there is a choice of meals. My mother has lived at Endeavour for just over a year during which time she has needed medical attention which the staff ensured she received and when necessary promptly called a doctor. Communication from the staff and manager has been very good.
Thank you for your review and very kind words, all of which I will pass onto staff, it means a great deal, it is a pleasure and privilege to care for your mum. Regards.
Mum originally came to Endeavour Residential Home for respite care and asked to stay because she really liked it! The manager and staff are lovely, Mum feels safe and cared for which is so important for someone with dementia! She has settled in quickly and loves it!
