Overall Experience

Dove court ticks all the boxes for me. I feel confident that my mother is treated with respect and is cared for by a highly professional team of carers. They are all polite, friendly and ever willing to help. My father is moving in this week as he has been so impressed with the home. That's quite and important decision as he has always been very anti about care homes!

Overall Experience

My uncle is 93 and moved in six months ago. He was very independent minded and very cross when I first suggested he considered a care home. A soon as we were shown around he felt happy to move in. He is relaxed and comfortable. He has companionship and is kept active. He obviously enjoys his food. The care is personalised and thoughtful and delivered in a considerate way.

Amanda
Amanda Job Title:ManagerJoined: 2017

My name is Amanda and I became the manager for Dove Court in April 2024.

I have worked for the company since 2017. I came on board as an assistant manager and progressed to a manager.

I have always worked in the care profession since I was 19 years old and I thoroughly enjoy it.

I enjoy ensuring the residents are empowered to make day-to-day decisions over their lives and believe safeguarding is of the utmost importance.

I’m glad that Doveleigh Care can make a difference in so many people’s lives – staff and residents included.

Nikii
Nikii Job Title:Deputy ManagerJoined: 2021

My name is Nikii and I am Dove Court’s Deputy Manager.

I started working in Domiciliary care in 2014 and progressed to a supervisor and eventually a Care Coordinator.

I wanted a change from working in the community so started working in a care home as a senior carer in 2021, during the COVID pandemic.

I have been at Dove Court since late 2021 and have just been promoted to deputy manager this April.

I love to make a difference in people’s lives and enjoy providing good support and guidance to staff members.
