Overall Experience

My father-in-law moved here in September and I have nothing but good to say about his time at Sainthill House. Prior to this, he was in two other homes which left a lot to be desired. From the owner and manager downwards, all the staff are very polite and friendly, constantly engaging with all the residents, which is lovely to see. It really is a home from home atmosphere and we always leave him safe in the knowledge, he is being very well looked after. The genuine and ongoing support of the Sainthill team makes this difficult dementia journey much easier.

All that matters to me is that Dad is safe, well-cared for and as happy as someone with Alzheimer's at 90 years old can be. Sainthill House provides all of the elements to ensure this, from the management downwards a service is provided beyond excellence. Professional, caring and total investment in the residents is evident and constant. Clean, homely surroundings with food and drink on tap adds to the overall fantastic experience for Dad. This is not just a "Care home" but a real home with a family feel. Ded can relax if he wants or enjoy numerous activities on a daily basis. Thank you, all at Sainthill House.

My sister recently moved into Sainthill House. We were all made to feel very welcome from day one. Her room had been decorated and personalised especially for her, which was a lovely touch and made her feel special. Sainthill House is a really unique place and feels very much a home, residents are able to move freely around and mix together socially. The atmosphere is incredibly warm, friendly and relaxed whilst providing a very high standard of care and supervision at all times. Everyone of the team recognise each resident and offer personalised care required for that individual. Activities and stimulation are provided by a team of committed staff who encourage independence whilst providing a safe and healthy environment. My sister has flourished in the short time she has been there and is extremely happy and relaxed, which gives me peace of mind knowing she is safe, happy and well cared for. Thank you to all the staff.

Sainthill House and all the staff provide exceptional care for not only my Mum but for all of its residents and their families. We are constantly kept informed on how Mum is and she is content and happy. It is very much a home for Mum who is treated with so much respect. Today Sainthill are having a fete and I am astounded by the energy that has been shown to coordinate this on top of the workload that comes with the care requirements. This is above and beyond and thoroughly outstanding. Thank you.

My sister's needs are complex and difficult to meet but Sainthill House does more than I thought possible for her. She is monitored very closely and action is immediately taken when needed. I am kept very well informed of her condition. The care home environment is attractive and stimulating for residents and visitors feel immediately welcome and at home. Residents are consulted over all aspects of their life e.g. meal choice, hour of rising, etc. My sister is happy here and we would both be upset if she had to leave. We have experienced two other homes over the years. Sainthill House is far superior. A superbly well ran home.

I recieved a call from Sainthill to say Mum was 'Resident of the day' as it was her birthday and would I like to join her for lunch.
When I arrived Mum was looking radiant with a new hairstyle - she'd obviously had extra pampering that morning for her special day.
Lunch was lovely homemade Meatloaf with a selection of fresh vegetables. The staff were all very attentive, cuddling Mum and admiring her new look.
Then a beautiful homemade birthday cake decorated with fresh fruit arrived complete with lit candles and the staff all singing Happy Birthday! They presented Mum with flowers and chocolates, Mum and I were reduced to tears! So unexpected... and so very very kind.

Thank you so much lovely Sainthill people for making Mum's birthday such a special day... she was so chuffed. Also for proving, once again, that my mum is in the best place ever!

Catherine LoweJob Title:Registered ManagerJoined: 2025

I began my career in banking before pursuing a career in Health and Social Care when my children were young. During this time, I achieved an HNC Level 4 qualification and started my first role supporting individuals with direct payments to recruit and manage their own care packages, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

In 2005, I began working with people with learning disabilities and have since progressed through a variety of roles within the sector. Along the way, I achieved both an NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care and an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, building extensive experience in supporting individuals, leading teams, and delivering high-quality care services.

I am passionate about developing and supporting teams to provide outstanding person-centred care and ensuring residents enjoy the very best experiences possible. I strongly believe in working in partnership with relatives, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to deliver a truly holistic approach to care.

Although I am relatively new to Sainthill, I hope to bring a broad range of knowledge, experience, and fresh perspectives to the team—always with a smile and a positive attitude.

I have a particular interest in innovation within social care, leadership development and using technology to improve outcomes and quality of life for the people we support.

I am originally from the Philippines, where I graduated as a Teacher. After moving to the UK, I chose a career in care because looking after older people is something that is deeply valued within my culture, and I have always been passionate about supporting others.

I hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and a QCF Level 3 qualification, and I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of experience and progressed into management roles, becoming part of the leadership team in my previous position.

I am hardworking, dedicated, reliable, caring, and empathetic, and I believe strongly in the importance of teamwork to provide the highest standards of care. I have also worked with people with learning disabilities, which is an area of care I particularly enjoy and find very rewarding.

I am passionate about making a positive difference to people's lives and take pride in ensuring those I support feel valued, respected, and cared for every day.
