Agincourt and the staff take great care of my Mum, they treat her with dignity and respect when we are unable to care for her at home. They make her feel safe, what More could you ask for? I do not have to worry that my Mum is being treated like any other than the lovely and amazing person she is in their care setting

Mum went to stay at Agincourt following a long period of difficulties with rapid onset dementia. From the moment she entered the door she settled ( which was a relief to both me and my sister). The staff are friendly and approachable and genuinely care about the residents. The management are equally friendly, efficient and very approachable. They listen and are supportive and open and honest which is highly valued by us. Mum can display some challenging behaviours and the staff are able to either soothe or distract her and also give humour to her when needed which can help diffuse the situation. The food is all homemade and delicious and the cakes look divine. There is a choice of main meals and breakfasts. Snacks are branded goods and alongside with fluids and fruit they are readily available at all times. Mum's room is not salubrious yet she is happy with her "flat" however it it's spotlessly clean with no smells as is the rest of the home which is very welcoming .

Agincourt is an honest and welcoming setting. Staff are professional and friendly, working with others, such as GP, when needed.

Dad is very grumpy, but he is supported by cheerful and caring support assistants.

Initially, I arrived at Agincourt Care Home quite uncertain about the premises, patients and staff, however, my worst thoughts and fears were put aside quite quickly. I like to think I fitted in with everyone and everything quite quickly. My bedroom was very good and equipment and the facilities were suitable for me, as a disabled lady permanently in a wheelchair. All day comprehensive menus and they had plenty to choose from. All staff were thoughtful, caring, helpful and practical. Nice to get on with and friendly.

I visited Agincourt Care Home yesterday to see my mum. All staff were very pleasant and happy to see me and I was offered a tea or coffee. Mum appeared to be very settled and content and is being cared for extremely well. The staff are always very welcoming and happy to talk to me about my mum and any worries I may have. I am so grateful and appreciative to all the staff members for their care and kindness they show to myself and my mum.

Couldn't have asked for a better care home for my Mum to have been in. All the staff are so friendly and always made my Mum feel so at home. She made some lovely friendships with the staff and adored every single person there. It was nice to know there were people around 24/7 for her, it definitely put our families minds at ease! She had nothing but the best care especially in her final days, they treated her with the dignity and respect she deserved. Couldn't recommend this care home more they've done the most even after my Mums sad passing.

I once thought lowly of Agincourt home, but after being with father-in-law and watching, listening, etc. I have changed my views. Yes, the interior of the home is not up to other homes I have been to, but the care and friendliness of all the staff that we have had look after Norman has been wonderful. On Norman's last week alive, the staff have not only taken great care of him but also the family. We are extremely grateful to all concerned.

The assessment at home was very thorough and reassuring. My daughter and son-in-law took my husband down and settled him in (and collected and brought him home), so I can only comment on their impressions gained at these two occasions. It is difficult/impossible to get a proper review from my husband, who has dementia (so I have put satisfactory where I need to). Every day when I rang the home, the information was given freely and reassuringly in a friendly manner. There was a mix up one day when another resident with the same first name as m husband was ill and got told it was my husband. The error was quickly spotted, and I was contacted again.

My Mother has been cared for the past three & half years in Agincourt. I myself live in Ireland. It has been a great ease of mind to myself to see and know that my Mother has been so well cared for and even more importantly comfortable. The staff are so helpful and polite. I phoned from Ireland 2 to 3 times a week and was given a hearty welcome and informed how my Mother was. Talking to my Mother everytime she rang their praises. It was a pleasure to know Agincourt and all the staff. Can not thank them enough.

Since a new acting manager & deputy have been in place (hopefully permanent) things have been changing for the better. The home now has a nicer more cheerful feel to it. Also with a new entertainment carer the residents will get much needed stimulation. The carers are all extremely friendly & remain calm in some very difficult situations. Residents always look clean & tidy (with now matching socks) As a family we thank all staff for their care of our loved one.

All staff are very friendly. They all are very supportive towards my mum. When mum was anxious on mothering Sunday (30/03/25) staff/carers were here for mum to reassure her that she was safe. The home was very busy and mum was very anxious. A carer sat with mum when I left and said to me that she would make sure mum would be ok.

I looked at several potential places when searching for a care home for my mother, but it was obvious to me on entering Agincourt that this is the one that would meet her needs best. The staff work hard, are considerate and kind and treat mum in such a way that she has maintained her dignity. I have recently received an update and review on mum's care. It is so well detailed and at times so perceptively written that I don't need to ask for more information; and it gives an insight to mum's behaviour that one doesn't necessarily see during a brief visit.

Care homes are challenging environments: each one is different and individual and they won't all suit everyone, so it's worth doing the research.

I would like to say thank you to Agincourt Care Home. The food has been very good every day, with a good set of choices for breakfast. A lovely mid-morning break for tea or coffee. Every day has a hot cooked lunch followed by a tasty dessert. A good tea is followed late in the afternoon. The room you stay in is kept very clean and tidy and you have a choice for laundry being done every day. This home is a very good care home.

All staff showed kindness, empathy and professionalism. I liked that the staff team were experienced and had worked at Agincourt for some time. Even non-care staff, including maintenance staff and domestic staff made time to talk to Mum and make her feel at home. My advice would be, don't judge a book by it's cover, the environment can be challenging but the staff make up for this.

Just over a year ago my brother and I needed to find somewhere suitable for both of our parents. Agincourt was able to offer a room where they could be together, with access to the garden, which was perfect. From the moment they arrived, the staff treated them with compassion and dignity. All the staff know them and always greet them with a smile and a kind word. We visit regularly and are always given a warm welcome and a quick update on them both when we arrive. Our parents recently celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary and all the staff went out of their way to make it a special day for them with decorations, a cake and a small party where the family could share the celebration with them.

Today was mums 90th birthday. My brother and I visited mum today and it was a very pleasant visit. Mum looked clean, well dressed and well cared for. The staff were very welcoming and checked on us to see if we were ok and if we needed anything. The cook baked mum a delicious birthday cake to which the staff came in and sang Happy Birthday which was lovely. Due to the coronavirus, we are still only able to visit mum in visitors' rooms, however, we are hoping soon to visit mum in her own room. The manager is always very welcoming, informative and on hand for a chat if required. I was very impressed by today's visit. Well done team and keep up the good work, you really are making a difference to the residents.

Due to COVID only able to visit the downstairs room, this room was clean and comfortable. The staff as always were friendly and efficient. All COVID regulations were adhered to by the staff, which was reassuring. Mum looked well and was dressed well. Thanks to all at Agincourt for looking after Mum so well.
