Chargrove Lawn

Since my Father in law has been at Chargrove he has settled in really well , the staff and Management are absolutely amazing and everyone seems happy to be there. We always have a nice visit and are always offered a drink when we are visiting. It is really nice and reassuring to know my Father in Law is in a safe place being looked after by such lovely people .

We definitely made the right choice.

There is a wonderful personal touch in everything they do, from the way they interact with residents to the small details that make daily life more enjoyable.

The end of life care was managed with sensitivity and dignity.

Overall I am very happy with the care and support my mother receives at Chargrove Lawn. She is well looked after and the family are always well informed of her well being. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to look after mum, especially Abbie and Julie. Anthony is a fab manager and treats mum with the utmost respect.

Excellent care home. So clean & so homely. All the staff are lovely. Activities lots, lovely gardens. Good & choices very good. Recommend this care home!

My experience of Chargrove Lawn is very satisfactory. My mother has resided here for almost a year and I feel she is cared for well. The staff are always polite and helpful. There is a new manager who appears to have lots of fresh ideas and plans going forward which will include the families of the residents having input, which I think will be productive

Chargrove has been my brothers home for 15 years and he was so very happy. The care and consideration was second to none. Everyone was so very helpful. Can't thank them enough.

The quality of care was matched by the range and quality of food as well as the cleanliness throughout the home and the friendliness of the staff.

Our mother has been provided with excellent care in the final months of her life. The staff are all very caring and cannot be faulted.

My mother, who is 98 years old has had a nasty flu-like virus recently she has been quite poorly. The manager and the staff have looked after her magnificently. She is happy at Chargrove and considers it her home. I send my grateful thanks to all.

Sadly, however, I did have a few problems settling her back into her flat, having had all done for her that week, pleased we are having some normality now.

When I came to Chargrove Lawn, my legs were very swollen and I had an ulcer on my right leg. The staff here were very welcoming, and I had the room I needed, which overlooked my families back garden, and my grandsons back garden too. It was also at the back of my other grandson's bungalow. Thanks to the district nurses, my legs have healed, and the swelling has gone, so I'm good to go home. I can't speak highly enough about the staff or how much they have contributed to my stay here. As for the care home manager - she has more than contributed to my stay, so thanks so much to all.

Would be happy to return if the need arose.

As a family, we could not be more pleased that we have managed to have mum placed in such a fantastic care home. The staff have been wonderful caring for mum with such kindness and respect.

My mother spent a week at the home for respite care and we couldn't have been happier with her stay. She was like a new woman after just a week. She was very well cared for.

My mum had to go into respite care as her husband was taken into hospital. Chargrove Lawn made what could have been a very distressing event for our family very easy and worry-free.

I have found my few months of life as a resident in Chargrove Lawn is an experience I did not welcome, but have found surprisingly pleasant. The care staff make one feel welcome and do not complain when unexpectant demands are made on them. I think of them as my friends and will always be grateful for the care and attention I have received.
