Chargrove Lawn

My mother first stayed for respite care 12 months ago and was very happy here. 10 months ago she came to stay following hospital discharge. The staff gave her back quailty of life and a will to live. When she first arrived she was unable to do anything for herself, stopped drinking and eating. Staff worked very proactively with her. She is happy, safe and warm. I can visit at any time and visit most days, sometimes at strange times. She is always warm and comfortable.

Lovely home, lovely staff. When visiting my friend I'm always welcomed in a homely and professional manner, there is always activities going on and the atmosphere is a very happy one.

Good, pleasant location and building. Staff are approachable and willing to assist or answer questions. We are able to visit at any time of day, although we avoid meal times through choice.

Mum needed quite a lot of support when she first arrived at Chargrove Lawn and the staff provided it. She now seems happy and settled. We are very pleased with her level of care and the quality of her life now. Chargrove Lawn provides very good quality care in a compassionate and professional manner. We feel lucky to have found this place.

My wife and I have our lunch here every day and the service is excellent. We are both from Cheltenham, and we are both in our ninety years. If at some future date we had to consider moving into a care home, this would more than likely be our number one consideration.

Great home.

The care given to my cousin was exceptional. Staff were always attentive and kind, they listened to each and every resident and cared for their needs. We were welcomed every visit and were always offered a cup of tea and biscuit. We were kept up to date with my cousin's care when we visited. I am happy to say that I felt that my cousin was safe and secure whilst staying at Chargrove Lawn.

We have been very pleased with the care my father-in-law is receiving.

We needed to find the older lady we looked after a nursing home. Chargrove Lawn was very close to her home. Her outlook from her room, onto the hills where she walked her beloved dogs, couldn't be bettered. The home never knew when we would visit and the care was second to none it was wonderful, right up to the day she passed away. Staff always very pleasant and caring. I'm glad we made that choice. Spotlessly clean and never ever smelling of urine as many do. Also, very good food and also the lady was kept very clean and tidy and very cared for. What more could you want? Thank you.

My mother has been a resident at Chargrove Lawn for approximately one year. The service is very good and I feel at ease knowing my mother is safe and in the best place she can be. The communication from the home is good and I feel they go above and beyond.

My mother is very happy here and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I have no worried about my mother's care and feel safe in the knowledge that her every need will be catered for.

On a fortnightly basis, I take clients from my place of work (Stonham Supported Accommodation) along with my dog and a client's Guinea Pig to visit the residents at Chargrove Lawn. It is lovely to see how much the staff care and cater for their residents and treat them with respect and dignity. The home is always clean and tidy and the staff are always welcoming to us and the residents enjoy our visits and love the chance to pet the animals. Overall, the home is excellently managed, if only all care homes were so well run.
