Mum initially went in for respite for a few weeks and has another review in a couple of weeks to see if it will become permanent which I'm hoping will be the case.
Mum has taken a while to settle into Parton House (becuase she has been on her own for a while and her dementia has become worse) but
with the support from the carers and having company of the staff and the other residents things have become better for Mum. I know she is safe, she has a routine and most importantly company and conversations with people.
Mum seems happy and settled which I'm happy about and the best thing she is now just down the road for me to visit and see her more often.

On the whole, Redlands has the makings of a very good care home, but requires redecorating and refurbishing; the decor is very dated and tired. The garden could have been lovely this summer, but it is uncared for and scruffy. The staff are wonderful and try very hard, but they need to give residents
something to look forward to and entertain them from time to time. The staff try to do their best they can, but they have other duties to attend to.

I moved my Gran to Bredon View Care Home that is run by the Cedar Trust, after concerns with the Care Home that my Gran was in. Bredon View staff had my Grans health and well being top of the agenda and sort the help that she needed. I will be forever grateful to the staff and can't wait to see my Gran
thrive in this Care Home and feel safe again xx

We were recommended this home by the 24 hour carers who were looking after father-in-law once we realised he needed to move into a care home. They told us Redlands had a good reputation.
Management were very helpful and flexible at all stages, especially taking into consideration my father-in-law's
needs, which helped reduce the stress of the move.
Staff were always friendly and helpful and took the time to listen to his stories. This helped to create a sense that he was in a home rather than a hospital.
Communication was excellent, especially towards the end, where the staff were very professional and compassionate.
I would recommend this care home to anyone.
Many thanks to the management and staff.

My experience of Chargrove Lawn is very satisfactory. My mother has resided here for almost a year and I feel she is cared for well. The staff are always polite and helpful. There is a new manager who appears to have lots of fresh ideas and plans going forward which will include the families of the
residents having input, which I think will be productive

I have nothing but praise for the standard of care given to my mother-in-law during her stay in this home. Nothing was too much, the staff really cared which included the manager. They all went above and beyond, from the day she arrived, during her stay, her end of life and afterwards.
Our dog was
also allowed to visit every time with my husband and was loved by all the staff/residents.
My husband and I would like to thank you all again for your kindness and support which we will never forget.
Thank you xx

Food and care is excellent but activities are not brilliant.
Would be nice if there was more outside spaces for residents to enjoy, gardening opportunities or hen's or rabbits to allow the residents to interact more. I would and like to see bowls of fresh fruit and snacks throughout the home. For
residents to help themselves too.

The carers are gentle, sympathetic and understanding. The care at Magnolia House came just at the right time when we both needed it.
The meals are good above average.
Help is always available. The front desk is always helpful at solving problems, and always cheerful.
The care is the most important
thing and that is very good.

I have been lucky enough to have dealt with Parton House twice over the past 12 months. Firstly my mum went in for respite 03/24 for 3 weeks. Mum had become very demanding previously to her visit and the staff were all so patient with her. It was such a relief to know she was so cared for in a beautifully
warm, caring, fun environment.
Moving forward to Feb 2025, my frail elderly neighbour decided she needed more support.
I contacted the manager and she was so supportive and visited my neighbour at home to reassure her and talk her through everything. She decided on staying for 2 weeks initially.
Before the 2 weeks were up she had decided she wanted to stay permanently. She is having a blast. I've not seen her look so happy in such a long time. Every time I visit She has done a new activity, keep fit, dominoes, singing and seeing the weekly hairdresser. So much going on daily, great meals. It really is like a hotel. The staff work so hard.

We had to put my mother into respite care in January 2025. The manager was very accommodating in getting us a place sorted. The home is very clean and well ran, I would recommend this care home to all. The food seems to be all home cooked and served up nice and hot.

After a fraught few week's mum has settled down quite well. For someone who is almost 100 years old and fiercely independent nowhere is going to be quite like home. Its only in the last couple of years she has needed any help at all, doing online shopping at Tesco's up until her mid 90's. Unfortunately
failing eyesight and gradual memory loss has meant she had to become more reliant on close family and additional care staff. Even though she had at least 4 care staff calling daily as well as family members calling twice a day, she was becoming increasingly lonely. She now says she is quite content at Parton House care home and there is always someone to have a good natter to. The staff are always helpful and courteous to residents and visitors alike. Overall, it's a clean and happy environment with several little quiet rooms if you need to discuss something of a sensitive nature with your loved one.

Parton House was chosen by my sister and I for our father for its previous reviews and positive recommendations.
We cannot fault the medical care he receives, pills are administered at specific times and all necessary tests are provided. Community nurses come to medicate his leg ulcers on a regular
basis. A dr comes when necessary.
A car with a carer has accompanied him to dental appointments which is an excellent service.
The meals are very good and the staff all seem very willing, friendly and patient.
There are many activities downstairs in the lovely big dining room but unfortunately our father doesn't seem to want to take part in these, he prefers to stay in his room which he now calls "my little home".
Sometimes clothes after laundry go astray but name tags may do the trick to prevent this from happening.
My sister and I receive regular emails from the management to inform us of our father's health and well-being and should there be a problem, we are promptly informed.

The care given by all members of staff and management was excellent from the time they visited my Mum in hospital to assess her needs to the point when she was fit enough to return to her own home.
The quality of care was matched by the range and quality of food as well as the cleanliness throughout
