The care given by Magnolia House is second to none, the staff are friendly, courteous and dedicated. More could be done to keep the men occupied. More tables for meals for men. Gardening group?. Laundry clothes to be washed with the floor and room number.

Chargrove Lawn is an exceptional care home that truly sets a high standard for comfort and compassion. From the moment you walk in, the environment feels welcoming, clean, and fresh. The whole place smells pleasant and well cared for, which immediately creates a reassuring atmosphere.
The rooms are
beautifully presented and feel more like a high-quality hotel than a typical care facility. They are comfortable, thoughtfully arranged, and provide residents with a real sense of dignity and homeliness.
What truly makes Chargrove Lawn stand out, however, is the outstanding care provided by the staff. Every member of the team is professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their commitment to residents goes far beyond routine care - they clearly take the time to understand each individual and provide support with warmth and respect.
There is a wonderful personal touch in everything they do, from the way they interact with residents to the small details that make daily life more enjoyable.

Following hospitalisation after a fall, mother was welcomed home. Stage 3 bed sore was discovered on arrival, which concerned staff, but she refused to return to hospital. One month following intensive care and treatment from nursing staff mothers wound is stable. She is happy in the home. All visitors'
environment is inviting and friendly. I would recommend this home to anyone over and above other similar establishments that I have experienced previously.

My mother received compassionate care during her stay here and especially in her last days. Communication updating the family of any changes was really reassuring.
Here the carers really do care! Despite mum being bedridden, on days when she was able she had a change of scenery and went for lunch in
the restaurant, this she enjoyed as felt like a real outing for her. Towards her final days she required extra care and it was like being in a cottage hospital-medication wasn't just given because it had been prescribed previously the nurses regularly liaised with the GP to ensure medication was regularly re assessed. I would highly recommend Magnolia House. My mum received excellent care and support

Super staff who care greatly about my Uncle and the wider family. They take care to know him, his needs and ways.
There are more activities for residents which helps my Uncle. They are also happy to listen to ideas and try and accommodate requests.
The home is expensive. Cedar trust as an organisation
needs to pay staff more and invest in the fabric of the building. Not enough of the money paid goes to the right people. The staff are the greatest asset and should be treated as such.

Early in 2025, my mother needed a respite spell in (another) care home and hated it. When she needed a further spell, we booked her into Parton House, initially for a month, and what a good move this was! The difference, was a revelation. The one month stay was extended (her choice) and she subsequently
decided that the best option for her was to stay permanently. The room is lovely, the home is immaculately clean, the food good and the location convenient.

The biggest 'plus' however, is the staff. Mum is always full of praise as to the attentiveness, commitment & care from the staff and I've witnessed this at first hand. The management team really put the welfare of residents above all else and are exceptionally proactive in representing the interests of the residents when dealing with external agencies such as medical services which is not only of massive benefit to the residents, but also to relatives, like me, who live hundreds of miles away. Thanks to all at Parton House!

My wife is a resident at Magnolia House and has been there since January 2024. I am extremely pleased with the standard of care my wife receives. I am very satisfied that she is well looked after and that all her needs are met with care, respect and compassion. The staff are exceptional, always going
out of their way to assist my wife and ensure she is happy, comfortable and content as she continues her battle with dementia. Their kindness shines through in the small acts and gestures they do. The reception team are always very approachable and accommodating. It gives me great peace of mind to know my wife is in such capable hands. I would recommend this home.

After mum had two falls at home, we initially arranged respite care at Parton House. From our very first visit, when we were shown around by the lovely Sophie, we were made to feel genuinely welcome and reassured. Mum had not enjoyed a previous respite experience elsewhere, but she soon settled into
Parton House and, after two months, chose to stay permanently.

The staff are all friendly, wonderfully caring, and considerate and the home itself is warm, clean, and inviting. Mum has a lovely room with a beautiful view, and the food is excellent and varied. A doctor visits weekly, as does a hairdresser, and visitors are encouraged and are always made to feel welcome.

Kayleigh, the manager, is exceptional - compassionate, approachable and truly dedicated. She goes above and beyond for residents and their families, and her communication is outstanding. Her leadership sets the tone for the home's caring and supportive atmosphere.

A big "thank you" to all the fab team at Parton House!

My mother is well cared for and tells us she is very happy being looked after in Magnolia House. The atmosphere for visitors on entering is welcoming and management is approachable and available for relatives. The Care Staff are very patient and ensure my mother is content, comfortable and her physical
needs catered for, which is the main priority. The food is excellent and the little touches like birthday tea parties and social activities make it, overall, a very pleasant environment to live in.

Mum initially went in for respite for a few weeks and has another review in a couple of weeks to see if it will become permanent which I'm hoping will be the case.
Mum has taken a while to settle into Parton House (becuase she has been on her own for a while and her dementia has become worse) but
with the support from the carers and having company of the staff and the other residents things have become better for Mum. I know she is safe, she has a routine and most importantly company and conversations with people.
Mum seems happy and settled which I'm happy about and the best thing she is now just down the road for me to visit and see her more often.

On the whole, Redlands has the makings of a very good care home, but requires redecorating and refurbishing; the decor is very dated and tired. The garden could have been lovely this summer, but it is uncared for and scruffy. The staff are wonderful and try very hard, but they need to give residents
something to look forward to and entertain them from time to time. The staff try to do their best they can, but they have other duties to attend to.
Reply from Andy Butt, Head Office Executive at Redlands AcreThanks for your feedback which is important to us as it allows us to focus on where we need to improve and make change so we can ensure the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
