Bredon View was originally two Regency-style houses, that have been linked and extended, to provide the very best choice of accommodation and amenities.

If you enjoy sitting and relaxing, or maybe having a chat, then the beautifully furnished social lounge and dining room is the perfect place for you to sit in warmth and comfort. This is the heart of the home where you can come together with friends and loved ones to share your day.

Bredon View takes pride in the fact that the garden is a frequent winner in the Cheltenham in Bloom competition. The Garden Lounge offers a peaceful space from where you can view the colourful displays outside. Or if you prefer to sit and watch the world go by, then the cosy and comfy conservatory at the front of the house will be the perfect place for you.

All of the bedrooms are individually and tastefully decorated for you to make your own. It is encouraged for you to bring those special personal items of furniture, photos, and pictures to personalise your room with familiar and treasured things so that you feel truly at home.

I moved my Gran to Bredon View Care Home that is run by the Cedar Trust, after concerns with the Care Home that my Gran was in. Bredon View staff had my Grans health and well being top of the agenda and sort the help that she needed. I will be forever grateful to the staff and can't wait to see my Gran
thrive in this Care Home and feel safe again xx

I write this on behalf of all of the family - the whole team at Bredon View have been fabulous in their care, love and compassion for my mother.
It's a difficult and challenging time moving someone from their own home into residential care. The manager and her team went out of their way to help us
in making her room homely. Nothing was too much trouble for the team in putting shelves up and arranging the room to make her feel truly at home, in fact, it didn't take her long to refer to Bredon View as home. That's so reassuring and lovely for the family to hear, the entire staff are so friendly and work well as a team and we can't fault anyone. It's clean, warm and welcoming and I would highly recommend this home.

My aunt is happy and well cared for in Bredon View. She feels safe and secure. The staff go well above and beyond expectations, showing kindness, patience and professionalism. Her health and well-being needs are well met. She enjoys the company and looks forward to the morning activities. Standards
of hygiene and cleanliness are excellent throughout and there is always a choice of food at mealtimes. The manager is efficient, well-organised, patient and cheerful, leading by example. She always makes time for residents and their families. We are so grateful.

I can't speak highly enough of Bredon View Care Home. From first speaking to the manager through to now, my experience has been marvellous. My mum settled very quickly and is very happy here. All of the staff are friendly, kind, supportive and fun and they really look after my mum and make her laugh.
I love that I can visit at any time and that some staff have been here for many years. I always say that it comes from the top and the manager is just the best. Thank you to everyone for caring for my mum so well.

Gramps has been at Bredon View for five years now, he settled in straight away and loves a sing-along with the staff and residents. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are so supportive of the family as well as the resident. Well done and thanks to the manager and her team, you go above

I am writing on behalf of all my aunt's nieces and nephews to record our thanks to the staff for their professionalism, love, care and attention given to her over the past five years.

Bredon View is very homely and clean. My dad has been a resident there now since 2018. He is happy there and settled in straight away. Management and staff are very friendly and caring and go out of their way to make sure his needs are met. He turned one hundred in November and the staff and residents
celebrated with him and made him feel special before accommodating a family visit. I would definitely recommend Bredon View to others for their family members.

My closest friend's Mum is a resident at Bredon View and has been here for several months now. All the staff are extremely kind, helpful, loving and caring, which is all you can ask for when a family member has to leave their own after many, many years. The home is full of laughter and love and I would
strongly recommend anyone to reside here.

The care the residents receive is outstanding! My mother could not be happier she's 85 years old but still feels very valued which is great. Whenever I visit the staff always greet me with a smile and a cup of tea and a biscuit. The management always makes a point of saying hello and are always available
for a chat. The home is very clean and mums room is too. Thanks!

I was operated on in hospital. I wasn't allowed to walk and used a wheelchair. I was informed at the hospital that I could go to Bredon View. From day one they made me feel at home. The staff are all welcoming and helpful and the existing residents all get on with each other and make it a very happy
atmosphere. The food is very good. Recently the manager and deputy manager moved to another home and a new deputy manager replaced them. The new deputy is excellent with the residents and I will, in fact, be sorry to leave for physiotherapy.

My friend has only recently moved in after her old home closed down. I was very happy for her to find that this home is so good. Most importantly, she has settled in well. She was worried about moving as she had been in the old home for many years. It is a very friendly place and the staff treat everyone
very well, including me when I visit. All in all, I could not be happier for my friend.

Consistently good and kind care and treatment over three years during which physical deterioration led to assistance being needed for everything.
Staff were always helpful and dealt with any requests and suggestions made by families. Medical attention from outside was always requested promptly when
necessary.
Few staff changes occurred, which meant her needs and whims were known and helpfully dealt with.

Current Review Score: 8.2 (8.192)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.2 (8.192) out of 10 for Bredon View is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.2 out of 5 from 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Bredon View is calculated as follows: ( (11 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 11 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.192 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bredon View is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 = 3
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 26 registered maximum number of service users is 5.2. 1 Positive Reviews ÷ 5.2 = 0.192
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
