All the staff are willing to help and are approachable if they don't know the answer they find someone who does. They are all friendly. They take in the needs of my aunty and deal with it. They let me know if she needs something only I can get.

For the 4 years she has been at Albany House I don't think I have ever been able to find a fault. She is now 103 and they have always taken the best care of her. They are such a dedicated and wonderful team of staff who provide everything a resident could want. They respond to all correspondence with
speed and are extremely helpful whatever the situation. I would have no hesitance in recommending Albany House to anyone in need.

All the staff were excellent in the way they cared for my friend, who was suffering quite badly with dementia towards the end of his approx two years at Albany House.
They always treated him with great dignity and were always there for him. They were always friendly and welcoming to me when I visited.

Albany House is a lovely peaceful care home, and the staff are very kind and patient and treat residents in a very caring and professional manner. I have found that my father-in-law is always treated with respect and kindness.

My mum went to Albany House for 2 weeks of respite care and to see how she got on, with a view to going there long term. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. She was well cared for and looked after. There was initially a problem with her bed, but that was sorted out for her, with much
apology. The food was good, too and she was able to have visitors whenever she liked.
Being mentally with it, I think she would have benefitted from some more activities. However, she was happy there and not averse to it being a long-term plan when she feels ready!

Albany House is a very nice, homey place with a really welcoming feel. My mum has a lovely, bright room and all the staff are delightful, attentive and friendly. They’ve all worked hard to get to know my mum and make her feel at home. The kitchen team have done a great job devising new vegetarian meals
for her and making sure she eats well. Visitors are made welcome too, anytime.

My father moved to Albany House in March after a stroke in May 22. He has gone from strength to strength being there. He always seemed unhappy and frustrated in his temporary care home in Chester, but now, when I go to see him, he’s much happier. The staff are fantastic, and he likes them all. He was
really looking forward to his roast dinner when I went to see him on Sunday. He said the food is very good. There is always a member of staff available on the phone or in person for me to catch up with. I’m so pleased I moved him here. Top marks all-round.

Albany House Care Home cared for my aunt - and now my father (who chose to move there on being widowed, having seen their care for his sister).
The staff are very caring and treat my elderly father with dignity, care and respect.
I live overseas and Albany House is very diligent in keeping me updated
with news of my father's health and well-being.

Albany House is a delightful Care Home where they really do care about their residents. My mother has joined the Albany House family and is treated as a valued and loved family member. All the staff treat her with great respect yet are affectionate; there is much laughter which lifts everyone’s spirits.
Many of the staff have been at the Home for many years and all are locals which is very reassuring.
We couldn’t be happier with the care from all the staff (including the lovely chefs) - we have made an excellent decision and thoroughly recommend this establishment. It is so important to feel that my beloved parent is being enabled to live her best life as she becomes increasingly frail and needs expert care.

I find Albany House always welcoming and friendly and it is a pleasure talking to staff when I visit. I am able to bring in my two dogs who bring a lot of pleasure to my mother and makes each visit easier.

My mum moved into Albany House approximately two years ago, and from the word go, she has been so well looked after. When she arrived, there were flowers in her room; everybody came and introduced themselves, and what impressed me was everybody got down to her level.
The smell of freshly cooked food
always meets you when you visit, especially on a Sunday.
My mum wasn't very well at the beginning of the year, but the care and compassion she received were second to mine. Mum and I are both very happy.

Care staff are very supportive. Lovely room, greeted by the manager and made to feel very welcome.
In the room was a welcome card and flowers, I thought this was a lovely touch. The manager and her team run a lovely home.

All my family like Albany House because it is small and intimate with excellent care.
Everyone including many of the residents is very welcoming and they all care for each other.
It is more like a guest house than an institution.
Staff are all quick to respond to requests and my husband has improved
immensely since going there in July 2017, post-stroke.
