Mum has been in New Bradley Hall since the end of October 2025. We are so pleased to have managed to get her into here. I would suggest the reality is better than the (excellent) reputation. Staff and management are wonderful and mum seems a different person now much better demeanor and very well looked after generally. Facilities are great as well.
Dear Ian Thank you so very much for your very kind words. Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. We are so very grateful. Mom is very happy here and always has a chat with anyone that she sees. Thank you again Ian. Kind regards Lynn
As for me I know he is being well looked after and don't have to worry I am vary impressed so far and would recommend them to anyone looking for care and it is all the staff that make it into a good care home
Thank you so very much for your lovely comments. We feel hubby as settled into his new home, and like you say there will never be anywhere like home, however we will try to make New Bradley the next best thing.
Kindest regards
Lynn
The events we have attended have been well organised and run with the residents having a great time.
I'm very happy to leave my mother in their care.
Dear Colin Thank you for your very positive and kind feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback and I will ensure staff are given your lovely comments.
We found New Bradley Hall an excellent care home. It is extremely well run and the staff really looked after our dad as if he were a family member. They catered for his needs and showed great kindness for which we were all grateful. Staff at all levels, including care, cleaning and laundry all took the time to talk to dad, while delivering excellent service. We never met the catering staff but the food was of a high standard. The care staff kept us informed if there was anything they felt needed drawing to our attention but at all times we were reassured by their high standards and concern for the well-being of dad. We are very thankful to the staff and management of New Bradley Hall. We couldn't recommend them more highly.
Dear Robert, thank you so much for your review. Dad was a lovely gentleman who it was our pleasure to have met and get to know. He will be remembered fondly by us all. Thanks again Robert. Kind regards Lynn
Excellent service provided by the care home. My mum has been unwell of late but the service provided by New Bradley Care home has been second to none. Mother has been looked after really well by all of the care staff.
Thank you Keith for your kind review. I will pass on your thanks to all staff. Thanks again. Kind regards Lynn
Everyone was always so kind and supportive and always with a smile. Nothing was ever to much trouble for anyone. When he was able to, grandad loved having a chat with the staff, talking about days gone by and a laugh and a joke he felt part of their family.
As his health declined they made sure he was always included with anything that was going on even though it was difficult for him to communicate. He could still watch and listen with a smile on his face.
Visiting was never a problem either in his lovely clean room overlooking the entrance or in the lounge with other residents, where there was always something going on.
Grandad had been in a much smaller home prior to New Bradley Hall and only moved due to needing extra support, he was very sad to leave that home and worried a larger home would not be as good or personal. It didn't take long to find out how good New Bradley Hall was.
Hi Meghan Its lovely to hear that you are happy with grandad's move to New Bradley Hall. It is a big change and can be unsettling. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful review.
Kind rregardsLynn
very supportive care by professional caring staff, nothing too much trouble, treated with dignity and respect, allowing him to maintain his independence as far as circumstances will allow and maintaining his interest in his hobbies
Thank you Ian for taking the time to give us a review. We are extremely grateful. Your kind words will be passed to our staff.
Kind regardsLynn
When we arrived on his first day and he was taken to his room, I will never forget the look on his face when he saw that he had his own small bathroom, to him that was luxury.
As his health declined and he was unable to get about himself, he was still included in everything that went on either in the main lounge or being taken in a wheelchair to their cinema room or other function rooms for the family quiz nights or other gatherings.
He was included in everything that went on, that was down to all the staff being so special, and making him feel special.
Thank you so much New Bradley Hall XXX
Thank you so much for your kind words, it really is appreciated. We really value the feedback that we receive good or bad to ensure we can continue to make New Bradley Hall a wonderful home to live. I hope you and family are well. Thank you again Melanie.
The care itself is excellent. The team always takes the time to make sure he's comfortable and happy, and they do it all with such compassion.
The rooms are lovely - bright, clean, and welcoming - and the whole place is kept spotless. It really feels like a safe, comforting environment.
I would happily and confidently recommend this care home to anyone. Knowing my father is being so well cared for brings me so much comfort, and I'm truly thankful for everything the staff do.
Hi John
Thank you for your lovely comments. We are very proud of New Bradley Hall and all our wonderful staff. To receive such positive comments is wonderful and I can assure you these will be passed to all staff. Thank you for taking the time to send this review, I'm truly very grateful.Kind regards Lynn
On visiting the care home to look around we were welcomed warmly and given a tour. NBH is quite large but felt homely and all the residents appeared well cared for. I worked for the NHS for 37 years and wanted the best care for my mother. The managers were very accommodating in agreeing to Mom going earlier than planned due to a deterioration in her health. From the moment we stepped through the door we could tell that we had chosen the right place. All staff introduced themselves and were very friendly. We had contact with managers, reception staff, the maintenance man, housekeepers and carers. All had the same exemplary attitude in wanting to give the best care for Mom. The rooms are well appointed and there are plenty of activities going on. Staff ensured that Mom's safety was maintained at all times (as she was prone to falls). Unfortunately Mom was only there for a few weeks but I would not hesitate in recommending NBH to others looking for an excellent care home.
Thank you taking the time especially at this sad time to write such a wonderful review for New Bradley Hall. It is sad that om was not able to spend more time here, we had lots planned for her. I will ensure your wonderful comments are passed to all staff. Thanks again Alison for your kind words.
Kindest regards
Lynn
It is a welcoming place to visit with an uplifting atmosphere, all visitors are greeted with smiles from staff, starting with the Receptionists and I feel part of the NBH family.
No one wants their loved ones in care but knowing how well my husband is cared for and treated at NBH makes it easier to bear.
Thank You All.
Thank you for such a lovely review. It really is appreciated. Both hubby and your family are part of New Bradley Hall's extended family.
Dad has been a resident at New Bradley Hall for 4 years now and I cannot speak highly enough about the staff who work there. I always know he is in safe hands which gives me great comfort, they are caring and professional and nothing is too much trouble for them. The staff are patient, supportive and empathetic so I wouldn't want him to be anywhere else.
Many thanks Elizabeth for taking the time to send this review. Dad appears very happy here and we are so glad you are too. Kind regards
A welcoming and homely environment, compassionate, caring, attentive staff, with a focus on residents individual needs and well being. Staff understand residents, maintaining dignity with personal care, health care and dietary needs are met with attention and sensitivity. The home is clean, well maintained and safety measures are always in place to protect residents. Staff not only support residents but family and friends too, they are always willing to answer questions and provide updates.
Many thanks Jo. This is a great review, we are so very proud. Kind regards
My Brother has been a resident for almost 2 years now. He receives first class help and assistance including his medical requirements. If there is a local cre home better than this one I would like to hear about it.
We believe we have a great team at New Bradley Hall, thank you for your kind words. Kind regards
Receives good care given with dignity and care.
Always keeping me up dated if there is any problems with my brother.
Look after his welfare besides just the care.
Thank you so very much. Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. Kind regards
The love and care she receives is heartwarming as is the care offered to all the residents which I see first hand whilst visiting.
They know everyone's little ways and preferences.
I could not be more pleased with my Mums care.
This is lovely to hear Karen. Thank you so much. Kind regards
The staff at the home are kind, attentive and thoughtful and offer excellent care to the residents. The spaces are always very clean and the team communicates well with my Mom and our family. When you visit the home you are aware of the courteous way the staff talk to the residents.
Thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate all feedback we receive. Kind regards
No complaints at all about the care the team on top floor are great although dad's expensive Sanex shower gel we've been advised to get disappears very quickly in the night day staff aware and I've started locking it away. I was concerned about the cleaner last week on her hands and knees cleaning the carpet on the hottest day of the year, she looked like she would pass out i'm sure it was her choice to do it, I'm just hoping it was! Since the lady has taken over entertainment residents are going out a lot more and doing more stuff in house as well. I think she particularly deserves a special mention although as a carer she was always one of the best. The herb garden is a lovely addition and I try to water them when I'm there all the work in the garden is an improvement, just a shame there's never anyone using it only us!! I cant give 5s below for a lot of things as not there sorry for a lot of it.The girls should be praised for working extra shifts due to sickness/staff shortages.
Thank you for your smashing comments. We aim to do more work on the gardens, they are such an asset to New Bradley we need to be making the most of them. We are so very proud of all the staff we work with, all of them make New Bradley Hall a wonderful place to live and work. I will look into the issue around the shower gel !Kind regards
Dad has now been in New Bradley Hall for over 18months. All I can say the care he is given by all the staff is amazing and professional. As a family it makes it slightly easier knowing he is safe and well cared for. The staff keep us informed if they have any concerns and we can speak to them if we have concerns. They not only care for the resident but for the family as well. Last month he went to the Armed Forces Day at Himley Hall and thoroughly enjoyed himself. Thanks to all the staff who took the residents and all the effort they put in to organise the trip.
Thank you so much, we do always try to provide the best possible care, support and enjoyment to all our residents and their families. Your feedback means so very much. Kind regards
My mother moved into New Bradley in January 2025 and settled straight away after a horrible experience in another care home. Every single member of staff is fantastic and everyone says hello and friendly. The rooms are great and spacious and cleaned daily. They have great events on regularly and genuinely care about the residents. The food is varied and nutritious for residents. I couldnt rate this home high enough - exceptional. Thank you for caring for my mother.
Thank you for your lovely words, they really do mean do much. Thank you for taking the time to send in this review. Kind regards
