I have no future plans or foreseeable reason to relocate and am pleased to call "The Court" my Home.
I have witnessed continual improvement to all Services, (at differing paces). All listed services are Good. The Trustees, Management, and Staff combined are striving to provide Excellent Service. I shall be happy to provide future updates to this review as each Service becomes "Excellent" (of which I have no doubt).
PS. Looking forward to the next 350 Years.
Thank you for taking your time to complete a review - it is wonderful to hear that you have made The Court your home and that you are happy with the care you receive. We are committed to providing the highest standard of care for all our residents; your feedback is invaluable as we continually...
I consider I have received the most attentive care from all the carers but especially from the administrator of all the facilities in the care home. I offer my most sincere gratitude to him for all his dedicated attention to my well-being and health.
We are incredibly touched by your kind words! We strive to provide the highest level of care and support for all our residents, and it truly warms our hearts to hear that you feel you've received such attentive care from our entire team. We are so grateful to have you as part of our community!...
My father has been resident at Lady Katherine Housing and Care, Temple Balsall for about a year and in that time the staff have been incredibly helpful. They have often gone beyond what they are required to do and have always been ready to help me and my sister with either advice or practical help which has made a huge difference.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive experience with Lady Katherine Housing and Care. It truly means a lot to us to hear that our staff has been so helpful and supportive for both you and your father. We take pride in going the extra mile for our residents and their families, and your feedback reinforces the dedication of our team.
Two years later that did happen, we returned and were delighted to discover that we would eventually be able to move into a newly renovated apartment. The dedication and kindness of all the staff is exemplary and we know that whenever a problem occurs it will be dealt with efficiently and with very real care and concern.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful review of Lady Katherine's. It truly warms our hearts to hear about your positive experiences with us, both during your initial visit over 20 years ago and your recent return for respite care and eventually a permanent residency. We're...
Lady Katherine is situated in the countryside which is a calm tranquil setting for later life. The residents are well cared for and enjoy good food and daily activities.
Special mention to deputy manager who communicates and updates me regularly.
Thank you so much for your review. Your client is a lovely lady who we are happy to have with us. She has blossomed so much in the time she has been here and continues to enjoy all that we have to offer at Lady Katherine Leveson.
Cleanliness was exemplary, and housekeeping and laundry were always up to the mark! Maintenance of the premises was always performed unobtrusively! Thank you one and all for allowing my mum to feel at home for her final years!
Thank you so much for your review. Your mother had been a member of the Lady Katherine family for a long while and is missed by us all. Best wishes from all the Team.
We have been pleased with our accommodation and interactive talks with staff and other residents. Management have always been helpful.
Kind regards
I arranged for my wife to have 2 weeks respite care at Lady Katherine Leveson Care Home. Friendly and prompt attention made the process very straight forward. My wife was well looked after and seemed very happy with her stay.
All offer similiar help and cooperation to family, friends, and all responsible for the resident.
Thank you so much for your review. Your cousin has now settled in with us so well. It has taken a bit of time but that is only to be expected when moving to a new environment. It is lovely to see him joining in with our activities, particularly our Wednesday Coffee Morning.
My mother had to move from another care home recently, and I was worried it would be very unsettling for her. However, the staff and setting have been amazing, and Mum couldn't be happier. The atmosphere is very "home-from-home", and her room is spacious and cosy with incredible views of the 13 centre Church and peaceful gardens.
Thank you so much for your review. We are so pleased that your mum has settled in so well with us and is obviously enjoying life here at The Foundation of Lady Katherine Leveson.
This is my first personal experience of living in a care home and I have lived here for only one month so have nothing to compare it with, but I am quite impressed with the care and patience that is shown by the carers and staff alike, to my husband who has dementia and myself who needs support.
Thank you so much for your review. We hope you will both stay with us for the longer term.
Overall, very satisfactory. The staff are kind and caring. These are old buildings but are constantly being upgraded.
My father was taken to The Foundation of Lady Katherine Leveson in late November for a period of respite care in the first instance. Unfortunately, he became very poorly whilst there and we lost dad on Christmas Eve. The manager and his team were so incredibly supportive and tended to my father's needs with gentleness and compassion at all times. They cared! We cannot thank them enough for their support.
We will continue to keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
My parents have now been in a residential care flat at Lady Katherine's for six months, after having moved in from their house. I am very happy with the care that they receive and with our experience of Lady K's. Before my parents moved in, Lady K's very patiently accommodated multiple visits from my parents to view and re-view several flats. Extraordinary attention was paid to my parent's needs and wishes in fitting out the flat for them, including the removal of a partition wall and personalised installation of electric and phone sockets. My parents are now well settled in and content. At all times, they have expressed their happiness with the care staff, who are caring and attentive. My brothers and I were apprehensive as to how my parents would respond to the move and the continuous good care has been important in allowing them to settle in comfortably. I don't believe that my parents could have chosen better and I commend Lady K's.
Thank you for your kind review. It means a great deal to all the staff here to know your parents are settled and happy.
My mother has been a resident for nearly four years at Lady Katherine. She is happy in her home and despite her declining health always had a good word to say about all the staff. From my point of view, the staff are always kind and nothing is too much trouble. I am kept up to date, if there are any concerns and any requests are dealt with speedily and with a professional and caring attitude.
Thank you so much for your kind review. It means a great deal to us all.
My mother is extremely well cared for in this lovely care home. The staff are wonderful and the setting by the church and beautiful grounds is perfect for her.
Thank you so much for your review. All of our staff work hard to ensure that our residents are happy and well cared for.
Disappointed that the new ensuite did not provide a towel rail or a little roll holder,
I will check out the towel rail and toilet roll holder situation and get back to you.
My mother has been a resident at Lady Katherine since 2020. She is extremely happy there. The care, kindness and compassion at Lady Katherine are outstanding. It is run extremely professionally. All the staff at Lady Katherine really care - nothing is too much trouble. It is a fun environment too, with lots of activities. I would also say Lady Katherine's communication with me has been exemplary. I am a huge fan of Lady Katherine.
We are so pleased that your mum is with us and that your family have become part of our family at The Foundation of Lady Katherine.
I visited several other providers in the area and chose this one because of the clean demonstrable, superior quality of staff, accommodation, quiet and attractive surroundings that could provide my wife with the love and help she needed. The choice was made because we have been happily married for 69 years and my wife deserves the best.
Best wishes, Fundraising and Marketing Officer.
Extreme kindness at all times. Nothing was too much trouble, great understanding of all one's limitations, complete harmony among carers. Friendly residents, complete trust in our medication. Wholesome food with plenty of choices always presented to appeal to all and sundry degrees of appetite. The staff noticing residents proclivity to enjoy the meal and thereby benefit from it. Readiness to help those who found it difficult to eat. Wonderful surroundings and pervading peaceful ambience.
Thank you so much for your review. I am so pleased you enjoy your stay at Lady Katherine Housing and Care. It's our pleasure to have you with us.

Meet the Team (2)

I have always been passionate about working in care and have been fortunate enough to gain extensive experience in this field over the years, and to be working in such a beautiful, historic environment at Temple Balsall.
I commenced my journey with the Lady Katherine Housing & Care family back in 2010, starting out as a night carer. By 2012, I achieved my Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, paving the way to a career I am deeply passionate about. With a dedication to continuous learning, I successfully completed the NVQ Level 5 Management Leadership for Health and Social Care.
During the twelve happy years working at our care home, I was promoted to increasingly more senior roles until I was appointed the registered care manager in 2022.

I have been working at Lady Katherine Housing & Care home for the last 6 years starting as a Care Assistant and then being progressively promoted to become Deputy Care Manager in 2022.
I have a passion for working in Health and Social Care and love working at Lady Katherine. I studied Health & Social Care at University College Birmingham and then pursued a BA Honours Degree in Social Care at Wolverhampton University. My academic achievements have helped me become a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional in my field.
Working at Lady Katherine Housing & Care is a particularly rewarding experience. I am drawn to the unique atmosphere, history and surroundings of the community. The residents and my colleagues made me feel welcome and valued from the moment I walked through the door. I am grateful to be part of such a warm and caring team and I am committed to continue providing the best possible care to our residents.
I am always dedicated to go above and beyond for those I care for and their families.
