The staff are very good in dealing with the residents as real people with their own preferences and foibles.

My friend and his wife are both residents at the home. In January they were due to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary. When the home heard about this, they put on an excellent party which was very much appreciated by the couple, their relatives and the other residents.

Food was excellent but the dining room could be improved and they could do with another lounge.

The room allocated for a very elderly gentleman wasn't suitable and was far too far away from main building.

My aunt is always full of praise for the care she receives from the foundation and clearly enjoys living with you all. It was a happy day for her when she came to the home.

I came to Temple Balsall 14 years ago after fleeing the Mugabe regime in Zimbabwe. This place welcomed my husband and I.
When my husband died in 2007 I was overwhelmed with the kindness from the staff of Lady Katherine Leveson and people around who attend the church.

I am living in sheltered housing and do my own cleaning, which may not be to the highest standard but is satisfactory (I think!)

My aunt has been a resident of Lady Katherine Leveson Care Home, in Temple Balsall, West Midlands for the past eight months.
During that time, we have seen an amazing change in her well-being. She is happy, relaxed and talkative and always tells us how happy she is there. She is 90, immobile and very forgetful but none of this seems to worry her. During her stay, we have not been able to fault the home in any way - the staff are exemplary, they are extremely caring and understand her personality and her needs and always let us know of any concerns, or things she has said or done, since our last visit.
They are always 'on the ball' and inspire great confidence. The office staff too are outstanding and always get in touch with us if they are concerned about anything, as do the care workers.

Excellent.

It is all very accommodating. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their what to make sure we are well looked after.
My room is very comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful to sit in or be pushed around.

There is always something going on and the staff put on shows and singing for us, plus the last 2 years a staff pantomime.

Would only recommend any place if asked to. Have put X in some boxes satisfactory to excellent to take into consideration some agency staff to permanent staff. Lady Katherine Leveson is an extraordinary place to live and work in because of the age of the property and grounds it is very quirky but in a good way. Buildings, flats and surroundings are one-offs. Lots of interest especially with church Old Hall and surrounding but age makes move difficult for staff.

Having known The Foundation of Lady Katherine Leveson for many years as a friend and volunteer, seeing it "from the inside" for 6 weeks of respite care was both interesting and informative. I have no experience of other care homes with which to compare it but as a resident of "Lady K", I was impressed by the atmosphere of happy informality in warm, bright and elegant surroundings. Help was always cheerfully given even when the staff were having to overcome the occasional difficulties of bad weather and illness. They were quick to meet my unexpected need for which I shall always be grateful.

Lady Katherine Leveson residential care is set in a beautiful setting. It has a Christian ethos and connections with the Church are why we selected it. Staff are caring and helpful. It has taken us time to find out how to get information about my mother and a weekly diary would be helpful as we always have to seek out the person who is managerial lead.

My husband has been cared for with love and great consideration for his wellbeing, since he entered the home in August 2017. When he was very ill with pneumonia, one carer who was on night duty, stayed with him all night. She was aware that he was dehydrated and gave him water and squash constantly all night. It saved his life and the next day, he miraculously got up! The care is second to none.

My Aunt joined the Lady Katherine Leveson community in October 2017 following a series of falls and subsequent hospital stays. It was a traumatic experience for her having to give up her home and independence but all at the home made her very welcome and did all they could to smooth the transition. As a result, she has settled in very quickly and is very happy at Lady K. We are very happy with the excellent standard of care she is receiving which gives us great peace of mind.

We are so grateful to all the staff at Lady Katherine for the care they provided for my Grandmother. She was treated with care, kindness and dignity. As her physical needs increased the staff continued to provide an outstanding level of care. I would, wholeheartedly, recommend Lady Katherine to anyone considering moving to sheltered housing, needing respite or for longer-term residential care. It is an amazing community, set in beautiful surroundings, providing a wonderful, caring home. I will be forever grateful to the staff for all they did for my Grandma.

Lady Katherine Leveson came recommended and I was lucky enough to find that a vacancy existed for my wife. Since becoming a resident she has been treated extremely well. We have experience of "carers" visiting our house and were sure that we would never enlist their help again. What a revelation it was to experience the care and affection in Lady Katherine Leveson.

My mother has now been in Lady Katherine for six months and is very happy there. They pay attention to her particular wishes and needs and have been marvellous in dealing with her independence and infirmity. She really likes the food, and the way you can ask for a glass of wine or sherry, or a light supper in your room, and cups of tea for visitors. Sometimes we get frustrated by communication blips but the "senior" care staff and manager are very open and responsive to complaints, questions and suggestions (like tidying up the wheelchair shed).
