During this time, the staff were caring and did their best to make sure that Mum was comfortable and clean. At times, this was a difficult task as her illness meant Mum was not always able to understand where she was or what was happening to her. Although I didn't visit regularly, living some distance away, my sister was there most days and both of us were happy with the way the staff related to both us and our mother.

I visited most days and because it is only a small home everyone became like a second family to me which was so important in the final weeks. I cannot praise them highly enough.
