My father Walter Daisley was a resident in South Hayes Care Home from February 2023 until 2 January 2026 when he passed away. The care provided by staff was excellent. When he became more disabled he was moved to a larger room so that he was more comfortable. His room and the home were always clean and nothing was too much trouble for staff. My father compared it to living in a hotel and he loved the variety of food provided. Activities are also provided and Dad loved the sing songs and quiz's. In his last year at the home he could get agitated and bad tempered but staff always dealt with him with kindness and patience even when he was violent and abusive, these moods subsequently passed and he returned to being Mr Charming. In his last months he became incontinent and bed-bound and had to be spoon fed. This meant he required a great deal of care which was provided with great patience and care. I can't recommend all staff at the home highly enough.

I find South Hayes Care Home to be a very pleasant and homely home. The staff are most welcoming and friendly, they do all they can to help you in all things. All staff seem to be most caring to all their residents. I would recommend South Hayes to anyone for their loved ones. All staff in my experience are very kind to all residents and their families. I find it most fortunate that my mum was placed at this home.

My mother-in-law arrived at South Hayes in Dec 22 and was greeted by the most amazing, caring, considerate, kind and thoughtful manager and her amazing team. The room was lovely, bright, warm, comfy and safe. My mother-in-law was so happy and content, she would say how caring all the staff was and nothing was too much trouble. We as a family felt the staff was extended family, always greeted by staff daily on our visit with hello and smiles and made to feel so welcome. The newly decorated rooms are beautiful, light, fresh and beautifully designed. The meals were outstanding and a good selection my mother-in-law would say. Sadly my mother-in-law passed away but she was content and happy and with the passing, the staff gave us the time and loving support we needed, a few days later we arrived back in South Hayes to collect all the belongings and to find they were all still in her room which I personally thought was lovely. Thank you to all the staff, you truly made happy memories.

My mother was brought to South Hayes Care Home from the hospital. As I cared for my mother, I was a little worried about her settling in and coping with being in a residential home. My mother was so settled chatting with staff daily enjoying her meals and feeling content. The manager and all the staff gave my mother so much time and the care she needed. My mum wasn't one to join in activities as that's the type of person she was but despite that staff would always go into the room and sit and chat with her and give her the time and chats she loved. Always greeted by helpful friendly chats with staff and felt like family, staff would say how they love their job and it certainly showed with the time and effort within everything they would do. The manager deserves so much for not only the management roles but for the care, time and effort she gives her residents and their families and her staff. The rooms are beautiful and the newly decorated rooms are designed beautifully and highly recommended.

My dad passed away at the end of last year and had been at South Hayes for five years. It is difficult to express in words just how grateful I am for the way South Hayes looked after Dad. He required quite a lot of care towards the end of his life and without exception, his care was always given with compassion, with a smile and with the utmost consideration for his dignity.
The team at South Hayes didn't just care for Dad; they cared about him and made his final years happy and comfortable.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone at South Hayes for all you did for Dad. I am truly grateful.

All the staff are very professional, kind and helpful. The food is very good, and Mum always enjoys her meals. She has been very happy since she moved in January this year and likes to join in with the activities. Her room is very nice and spacious, and we have made it just like home with lots of her personal possessions.

This care home goes above and beyond for the residents.
The care and support during Covid were amazing to all the residents. Times were hard for staff, families and residents, but we came through it!
My auntie is currently in this care home, and I have no doubt whatsoever for the care she receives is 10/10.

Thanks, team.

My dad has been living at South Hayes care home for 5-days now. We decided, as a family, that he needed this move into care as his Parkinson’s condition has gotten worse. My dad has picked up massively in just a few days, and the staff and residents have welcomed him with open arms! He loves his bedroom and says the food and staff are excellent. He loves looking out of his bedroom window onto the beautiful garden and view of the hills. He can do the move for himself now he has the adjusted facilities in place especially enjoying better sleep. Highly recommend South Hayes to anyone struggling with the decision of putting a family member into a care home.

My sister has been in the care home since breaking her thigh bone; she cannot walk now. Since being there, she has been cared for so well, and everyone is so kind and caring like her own family. She loves playing all the games, and they keep them occupied all the time. We couldn’t have chosen better.

Absolutely brilliant care was taken of my mother-in-law. The staff have been more than supportive during her stay, showing endless compassion and professional care for all her needs, medically and emotionally.
Whenever we called, never were we given the impression they were too busy to deal with our call or questions. In talking to each of the staff that answered the phone, we were always met with total professionalism, and above all, our call mattered to them. They took the time to know their patients and fully respected their individual needs.

A huge thank you to South Hayes.

I cannot recommend South Hayes Care Home highly enough. My mom was a resident there for about 5-months until she recently passed away.
The care that the staff gave Mom was absolutely second to none, nothing was too much trouble, and they were all so patient and caring.
