Overall Experience

My sister was in Nightingale Court for 5 years, she passed away 1st September 2018 after receiving the best care possible. ALL the staff were so kind and compassionate. Her end of life care was wonderful. Very dignified.T he staff work hard all the time in, sometimes, very stressful situations. 100% for everything they do, they are all lovely and led by the best manager who leads by example.

Chloe Baron
Chloe BaronJob Title Activities CoordinatorJoined 2026

My name is Chloe and I am the Activities Coordinator at Nightingale Court, a role I started in April 2026. I have worked in care for over 12 years in a variety of roles including care, housekeeping, kitchen, laundry, and activities, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of supporting residents and their needs.

Care has always been a big part of my life, as my nan owned a nursing home and my mom has worked in the sector for over 35 years as a nurse and in various management roles. This background has helped shape my passion for care.

I am dedicated to creating meaningful and enjoyable activities, and I take great pride in seeing residents happy, engaged and smiling every day.

My name is Kerry Owen, and I am a General Assistant at Nightingale Court, where I have proudly worked for the past 7 years. A core part of my role involves supporting our residents' daily well-being, with a special focus on assisting them with their nutritional and hydration needs. I love helping residents with their menu choices, learning their unique likes and dislikes, and ensuring the dining environment is always pleasant and relaxing.

A true highlight for the residents is 'my treat trolley,' where I get to share extra snacks and chocolates. This role gives me the wonderful privilege of sitting and chatting with our residents, allowing me to build close relationships and ensure our person-centred care is always delivered to the highest standard.

Sophie Job Title Housekeeping Team - LaundryJoined 2019
Hi, my name is Sophie. I have worked here at Nightingale Court for almost 7 ½ years. I have held numerous roles in my time here at Nightingale Court, which have included care, housekeeping and overseeing the laundry- I have enjoyed all of the roles and responsibilities these posts have given me the opportunity to be part of the Team.

One of the things I love about Nightingale Court is that we all love and adore our residents here; they are the heart of the home, their home. Here at Nightingale Court, not only are we a team, but we are a family, a family in which we support each other, not only in good but also in difficult and challenging times.
