Hartlands Care Home is a care provider experienced in delivering personalised Dementia care for residents. Located in the town of Shrewsbury, the facility is within easy access of a bus stop, train station and local amenities.

The ethos at Hartlands Care Home is to provide a homely environment where residents feel valued and are respected in their independence, creating a family feel. Staff are encouraged to spend quality time with residents having a cuppa and a chat or watching TV together.

Spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and a large garden area await each resident offering relaxation and comfort. They have 3 lounge areas for residents to choose from also a spacious dining area where staff are encouraged to sit and eat their meals as a family.

Daily activities comprise of arts and crafts, music sessions and meals out. Local church and theatre visitors also attend Hartlands providing individuals with enjoyable entertainment and an opportunity to interact with others.

All the staff are very welcoming, approachable, friendly and certainly appear to enjoy their work. Staff have always been prompt in their replies to questions we have had and always keep us up to date with mom''s care. The food is home cooked with a good choice offered to residents. Mom was very well
looked after by carers on her visits to the dentist. Overall, we have been very happy with the care our mother has received over the last year she has been at Hartlands, and her mood has certainly improved since being there.

My mum has been living at Hartlands care home for a while now, and I couldn't be happier with the experience she's having. She is genuinely happy and settled, which brings real peace of mind to our family. The staff are absolutely fantastic - they take the time to talk with her, listen to her, and
ake her feel valued every day.


Because of the attentive, consistent care she receives, her overall health has improved, and her medications have even been reduced. It's clear that the staff truly understand her needs and support her in a way that promotes her wellbeing.


I'm incredibly grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and dedication shown by everyone here. I would confidently recommend this care home to anyone looking for a supportive and uplifting environment for their loved ones.

Warm welcome every time we arrive. Nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff, even when they are very obviously busy. My brother-in-law has settled in well to the degree that when we take him back, he smiles as he goes in and is greeted by all around him. If there is any community activity
when we visit, we are invited to take part, hence enjoying doing something with my brother-in-law instead of just sitting & visiting quietly. I walk away feeling my relative is safe, secure and happy.

My mother is very happy and settled at Hartlands Care Home and coming up to a year since moving in. What a difference the activities carer has made to mom's happiness, so thank you. What a pleasant difference the new manager has made to the overall look of Hartlands when you now enter the home.
It
is just so very sad that in the last 3 months mom has taken a turn for the worse, health wise, which has caused her to not be as independent as she has always been (relative to her Altzeheimers). This has meant her care needs have changed and her support needs have increased, which is regular prompting and assistance in dressing and hygiene. The care assistants have been a God send and you know who you are, so thank you.
Mom is blessed that she is still be able to walk and feed herself, albeit with more prompting and assistance. We trust, however, her personal and individual care needs will continue to be met because of her deterioration in her independence. Thank you to all the staff for caring.

My mum is in Hartlands. She is content and really cared for very well. The staff, all care about her. She is really settled, she takes part in activities as best she can, there is always something going on for my mum to do if she wants to. Mum is always treated with kindness and understanding. My mum moved here from temporary accommodation in another home after a hospital stay. She struggles with communication and has dementia. The Hartlands is worlds apart from what we had previously experienced, the staff are friendly helpful and fabulous. Mum has settled so well here and is always listened
to and supported to be independent which is so important to her. The amount of time and effort that goes into activities and speaking with residents is clear and I can't tell you how relieved I feel to have found this home for my mum. We have a young family and my children are always welcomed warmly and encouraged to get involved when they are here with activities. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone making the difficult choice to find a home for a loved one. thank you for relieving my fear after having to find my mum a care facility!

Mum has now been a resident for 18 months. I can't speak highly enough of the support care and commitment that she has received from the staff at the home. This home despite its size feels like a home and the staff genuinely care for the residents they support. They have also been supportive of both
myself and my brother as it is difficult when you have to take the decision for your mum or dad to enter the care system. We are reassured that Mum is safe and well looked after 24 hours a day.

The home is kept spotless and has a wonderful large garden giving the residents safe access to the outside of the home.
The care and attention given by the staff is excellent. They organise activities on most days of the week and have a very good online community site, which keeps up to date, almost
every day.
My brother-in-law celebrated his 70th birthday in the home this month (April). The staff made his day memorable and baked him a large cake, which I'm sure he enjoyed, having a 'sweet tooth'!

My mother has been a resident of Hartlands Care Home for some 10 months. She settled in comfortably in a very short period of time. The daily care and attention she receives from the staff are outstanding in all respects as is the care other residents receive whether incapacitated, confused or frightened.
The dedication and professionalism of the care staff cannot be underestimated and it leaves some reassured my mother is in safe hands.
