The quality of care given to my sister is absolutely wonderful. All her wants and needs are taken care of. During this difficult time, I have had video calls with her too. I would highly recommend this care home. The matron and staff are wonderful.

My mother has been resident here for a year and in that time she has had some challenges. Without the care and attention that she has received from all the staff at Meadow View I am certain she would not have recovered as well as she has. Nothing is too much trouble for them and their relationship with
all the residents is caring and compassionate. The manager and staff work tirelessly to provide the greatest of care and are always very well informed and this is shared with families. The dignity of patients is of the utmost importance. It is never easy reaching the decision to place family members in care but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meadow View. The atmosphere is always good-humoured and happy. My mother is happy and content and that is the most reassuring thing for us as a family. We will always be eternally grateful.

My aunt, who has learning difficulties, needed to have 24-hour care and we needed a placement for her urgently. On the day we went to visit Meadow View we were told that the manager wouldn’t be there as she was on holiday but when we arrived she was there. Not only that but when she realised that we
had quite a journey she then offered to come the same evening to assess my aunt's needs. Over the new few weeks, we have seen a considerable change in my aunt for the better. She’s had her hair permed and is always clean and tidy. All staff have extreme patience and always have a smile for you when you visit. So far we have never visited when the manager hasn’t been there. I can, at last, relax and know my aunt is good hands.

Just what I expected as my husband was in a different care home for 6 months before he died. Unfortunately, the remote control for the TV was the wrong one, so I could on watch channel three. I waited two days for a bulb to be put in the bedside lamp and also, for a plug to be put in the bathroom sink.
Apart from that things were fine.

My husband has been in Meadow View for the last two years with Parkinson's, Dementia. He has been so well cared for. The staff have become like a family to both of us. We have a great team and management, if we have any concerns it soon gets sorted. The layout of the home gives residents the freedom
to move around and the bedrooms are lovely.

Management are willing to listen to any concerns and deal with them as soon as possible. Carers are caring to both residents and family as this is a daunting situation initially. I feel that my Mum is in a secure environment with staff who are approachable and thoughtful.

My mum has been in this care home for 12 months and I am very pleased with the care and the facilities they have there.
The staff and management are very nice, they are very good with Mum and do their best for her, despite her condition. The rooms are very nice and everywhere is kept very clean.
The
food is good and if Mum has had any health problems they have been dealt with very quickly.

Staff very professional and friendly, made me feel at home. Room cleaned every few days but not to a high standard. Commode not emptied daily.

My mother is a resident at Meadow View and we travelled from Australia to see her in her care home. We visited many times throughout our two weeks in England each time I was particularly happy to see the way the staff showed patience, care and concern for all of the residents. The food was delicious
and garden area a positive for mum to be wheeled around.

I am writing for my father who spent one weeks respite with Meadow View and I thought he would at least say something negative about his stay. Well!! All the way home he kept saying he couldn't have been cared for better if he had spent £10,000 - he said he felt safe and happy, he wanted for nothing.
