Overall Experience

The care and detail my Mother receives is above and beyond, the residents are treated by as if they were caring for their loved ones. The atmosphere is always happy when I visit my Mum regularly and I feel happy in the knowledge that my Mum is in a safe and loving home. The attention given is consistent in all areas, the menu is thoughtfully prepared to ensure residents have a good diet. The rooms are decorated to a high standard and the surroundings are very comfortable and homely. This home is outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone.

Overall Experience

My relative has been cared for at The Stables for over ten years and we are very pleased with the level of care provided. The small numbers gives The Stables a very family friendly atmosphere and individual attention. The Stables always smells clean and well cared for. The staff respect residents and are welcoming to visitors. The staff also work very hard and we sometimes wish there were more staff to provide more activities above basic care.

I love going into this care setting. The staff are friendly and very welcoming no matter what time of the day. They really make time for their residents and all of the care is so personalised its lovely. Its great that the Owner/manager gets involved in the care at the home as this is a rarity. All of the residents are always happy and settled and even on bad days the staff take time out to reassure the residents and make them feel happier. What is also a really nice thing to see is that the staff including the manager and deputy come in on their days off to visit the residents I think that is so lovely. They ensure all food tastes are catered for and even special diets. All of the staff are qualified or working towards qualifications and the manager/deputy are really supportive with regards to training that's in place. Fantastic place and I would recommend to anyone.
