My father became a resident in November 2025, I cannot thank all the staff for their kindness, compassion and understanding in caring for my father in his final days. He settled very quickly, the staff were always happy in their work , the home was always clean and nothing was too much trouble . There were always plenty of staff and lots of opportunities for residents to engage in the many activities that were always happening. Thank you seems to inadequate for the reassurance you gave us as a family when my father needed it most .
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful review. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It means a lot to us and motivates our team to continue providing the best care possible.

Mum is always clean and tidy when I visit. The accommodation is always warm and welcoming. There seems to be a good range of activities for the residents to enjoy, plus tv/music in the day rooms. Private lounges are provided for quiet times and visiting with loved ones. Staff members are always pleasant and helpful and genuinely care for the residents. Overall, very pleased with the care mum receives.

I visit the care home weekly to visit my mum. I've had no problems what so ever, all the staff I have dealt with have been excellent. General conditions are good and the food is also good. The manager Louise runs a good ship, I always come away from there feeling my Mum is in good hands.

Father in law is receiving excellent care. He was reluctant to go into a residental care home, but with help of staff, he has settled & is now happy & would not return to his own home to live alone. Great staff & he likes the food.

We were welcomed by friendly staff on visiting a friend. The home is clean & warm. The residents are happy & well cared for. There are ratings that I am unable to answer as I have no knowledge of these topics. Overall I think this is a good home.

I've been here for a week now and I've never felt more welcome. The staff are so friendly towards me, I already feel like I'm home. The food is great and have no problem with my dietary requirements, (Diabetes). I'm sleeping better which is a bonus that I can only put down to the lack of stress I'm feeling. I've felt compelled to thank the management on such a great job they've all done. I'd like to especially thank Louise, (Manager), Liz, (Area Manager) and Kush, (Senior). All three are top of there game in my opinion. Thankyou

The home is clean and well organised. Residents encouraged to be in the lounge, to take part in activities and keep limbs and minds working. Food is good as well as snack at coffee/tea breaks. Visitors made welcome. Pleasant garden area with shading when necessary. Carers excellent and willing to have conversations and a joke. Best home I have been in although others were in a different county!

It was a massive shock for me when social care plus the home specialist confirmed that my wife required 24/7 care following a two week rest bite at Cherry Tree. On visiting on her second day she seemed very stressed which is understandable in new surroundings. As the weeks have gone by she has slowly but surely settled more into the home and that is with the wonderful help of such a caring staff and management team. They and myself have worked closely to ensure that the complications of my wife's health is fully understood and each person at the home has ensured a solution . As much as I miss my darling wife I know she is being well looked after surrounded by some really lovely people . They are definitely in my opinion the A team .
Thank you so much for a wonderful review. We will continue to support you both to ensure your experience is the best it can be! Thank you very much and i shall share your feedback with our teams.
The staff are very welcoming. Always offer a drink on arrival. Room are kept clean. My parent seem dressed well in clean clothes. Outside of the building need some repairs. Safety for residents are good. Always seen lots going on. Sometimes seem short staff.
Hello, thank you for your feedback. Please do come and see us here at Cherrytree anytime. We are happy to help. We shall pass your feedback on to our amazing staffing team. Thank you
My mum seems to be very well cared for at Cherry Tree. The staff are very kind and supportive, including supporting my mum with things like hospital visits. During all the visits I've made to Cherry Tree I've found it to be clean with all residents appearing well cared for. I've always been able to have good, constructive talks with all management and senior carers at the care home and everyone seems responsive. Recently, when my mum has had to receive some attention from a GP, the staff have been kind enough to update me on quite a few occasions by calling me to let me know the outcome of a GP visit. There have been a couple of occasions where I felt I needed to prompt staff to take just a few extra steps to support mum, but in general the care has been really very good. As mentioned in some other reviews, the staff here really are the stars of the show.
Thank you for your positive review, it is so lovely to read! As always please feel free to come and see us at any time! I shall ensure your review is passed onto our staffing team! Thank you
My Step father was placed at the Cherry Tree care home due to his Parkinson's conditions. Genuinely couldn't have asked for a better service that the staff and Managment have provided whilst my step father was being cared for. Management always had time if I needed any advice etc and was always updated if any issues that needed to know regarding my step father. Thank you for a wonderful service Cherry Tree.
Thank you so much for such lovely comments. As already discussed please do call us if you need anything at all! I shall ensure your comments are relayed to the team. Please continue to visit us and pop in. Wishing you all the best. Take Care.
There are times however, when I have to ask the staff a number of times for things to be done for my dad. I feel that the intention to do the things is there but it is forgotten about. I am sure that most of the time, this is due to the staff being very busy.
Cherrytree Care Home is quite tired inside and out and the weeds and cobwebs could be cleared away. I'd like to cheer my dad's room up by putting up pictures and hanging the curtains properly. However, after many promises that it'll get done, it hasn't which is frustrating.
I visit my dad most days and it's clear that are staff are the shining stars of this care home.
Thank you for your feedback. We will ensure we share this with the team and look into the points raised. We will closely monitor this and ensure improvements are made. Thank you again for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated.
We know she can be difficult sometimes but the carers cope with her well.
Thank you so much for your lovely review, we will ensure your kind words are passed onto our care staffing team. Thank you from everyone at Cherrytree.
Our dad had been a resident for most of 2024 and was very unwell for most of that time until his recent passing. The care he has received at Cherrytree Care Home has been second to none. Not only did they take amazing care of him, they also looked after my mum who was vulnerable and who spent a lot of time visiting. They always kept an eye on her and reported any concerns to us. I will be forever grateful to all the staff at Cherrytrees for the care and love shown to dad, my mum and all the other residents. It was always obvious that everyone was being taken care of extremely well. Thank you so much. I wouldn't hesitate in using your services again should the need ever arise.
We are so grateful for your lovely review. We will most certainly share this with all of the staff here at Cherrytree. They all work very very hard and we are very proud of the care we deliver and each member of our team. We are always here for you all and feel free to pop in at anytime. Please pass that onto mum too. Thanks again, take care.
