Harvey House

Both myself and my wife are very pleased with Harvey House. Visiting my mother in law in the home is a very nice experience. It is warm comfortable and well decorated. The staff are very caring, very helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. My mother in law is happy, contented and enjoys the food. The other residents seem to be doing well also, which is corroborated in conversations we have with members of their families. Would certainly recommend to anyone.

Generally very good. Have had one upset but this was quickly sorted out quite satisfactorily.

I have been a regular visitor to see my husband for two years. He has settled and happy. The staff are extremely helpful, always very professional. The rooms are always clean with fresh bedding. The food is to a high standard with choices. They have regular activities and the door is open for visitors to get involved and join in with garden fetes etc. The office door is always open for communication between the management and myself.

I was very impressed with the staff at Harvey House. They were genuinely caring and thought of our needs as the family as well as those of my partner's mother. We felt she was in a safe place where the staff would be friendly and kind to her. We couldn't have asked for better support when she was put on end of life care.

My mum first went to Harvey House for a months respite care. We were very keen as a family for her to stay there permanently as she had settled in very well and the staff were amazing with her. Sadly mum passed away after only being a resident for 3 months but the care she received and the support provided for our family will remain in our hearts much longer.

Unfortunately, we had to find a home to care for mum at very short notice. This was the only home with a room and we were so lucky. Mum settled very quickly and enjoyed the short time she had left. The staff cared for her as if she was their mum, they also looked after her family too. At the end, they were so caring to all of us. One of the senior staff even came in early to see mum before the undertaker arrived.

My husband has been in Harvey House since February 2016. He is happy and very well cared for. The home is very welcoming and the staff are friendly and very professional. His needs are met i.e medication, cleanliness with a light bright room. He enjoys his food, has choices and gets tea coffee whenever he wants.

Brilliant home. My grandad says he wishes he had moved in earlier! Lovely atmosphere, very homely. Staff that genuinely care for the residents, I have been particularly impressed with the amount of activities they have. Granddad is very happy which makes me happy. He speaks very highly of the food. He always enjoys it.

My gran has been at Harvey House for around 5 years now. She enjoys living at Harvey House, she gets on well with the staff and enjoys taking part in the activities and trips out. She is always happy when I see her and she tells me all that she has been doing and whats been going on.
