My husband and I are very impressed with Huntingdon Court Care Home. All residents are treated with care and dignity. The staff are responsive. The food is exemplary - home cooking and residents are treated to a lovel yhome made cake on their birthdays. Varied activities for residents to enjoy and involvement
with the local church. Really happy with all aspects of care.

Mum was at Huntingdon Court for 3.5 years and in that time she was always well cared for. The care staff are lovely and they really do care, which made such a difference in mum's final years. Mum was always clean and well dressed.
If there was a problem, small or large they always contacted me to
discuss and especially if a decision needed to be made. The doctor/district nurse is always contacted quickly if needed and the local doctor visits on a weekly basis.
I would recommend Huntingdon Court to anyone, it is always clean with a good atmosphere. The Security is good.
They do so fantastic activities to keep the residents engaged on a day-to-day basis and really encourage them to join in. Christmas is great, Santa visits on Christmas day to hand out presents.

After numerous discharges from hospital following falls, my Uncle wanted to go into a Residential home where he could be cared for 24/7. Abbey House was welcoming, friendly and offered ensuite facilities which met his needs perfectly. The rooms were clean, light and airy and well maintained and there
were delightful displays throughout the home at Christmas, Easter etc. His clothes and bed linen were washed and changed on a daily basis which he found pleasing. There were activities and a lovely garden to sit in.
The care, support, friendship and encouragement he received was visible on so many levels. He gained weight and his mobility and self confidence improved greatly.
His independence was encouraged and respected. The staff were always so kind and supportive, which was so lovely to see. I had peace of mind knowing that he was safe and being cared for. I visited several times a week could have not wished for a better care home. Thank you to the wonderful Managers and staff.

My mother-in-law went to stay at Abbey House for a week, and on arrival staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I felt quite at ease and content to leave my mother-in-law with them for her respite. She enjoyed her stay and everything was just perfect for her. Staff were just as helpful when

Overall Experience 1.0 out of 5
My mother came into Harvey House in a d2a and it was decided she liked it. My first experience was ringing to check my mum has arrived to be told short staffed haven't got time to ring you. When visiting never in her clothes another resident wearing her slippers. Given shoes 3 sizes to big even though
unsteady on her feet. I queried with a carer why her feet were so swollen, after she put her mobile phone down told me the gp had been but nothing documented.
I took my mum home for fear that staying there any longer would have been horrendous.
I have had no contact from the home since my mum left and I still have none of her belongings that went missing
Also the lift was broken fir over 4 weeks so unless you were able to tackle the poorly equipped stairs stuck where you were
Very poor management as no contact or apology about clothing as mentioned numerous times to care staff. I found care staff sat with shoes off on a table on their phone residents had no drinks.

My dad is a resident at Tillson House. He has dementia and has been at Tillson since January 2025. We feel very lucky to have found Tillson quite soon into our search for a suitable home. It is friendly, homely and welcoming. The staff are naturally caring with a great affinity with the residents.
Dad is 80 so this was a big change for him but he seems really content and settled. My brother is able to visit with his family and says dad looks well and is happy and relaxed. I don't live close enough to visit as often as I'd like but we call regularly and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating on the phone. Occasionally offering to do a videocall with dad so we can see him. He responds really well to this. We have never had any concerns for his safety or welfare. The duty of care is professional and efficient. We would recommend Tillson after experiencing the lovely care our receives.
