Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
Abbey House have been absolutely amazing in their care of my mum, Valerie. They went above and beyond in looking after her and supporting my dad too who was a very regular visitor. Staff were kind, caring and thoughtful and also had a laugh and a joke with my mum which always made her smile. We know
she was safe and loved there and never had to worry about that. An absolutely lucky find for us and I would commend them and recommend them to anyone.

The staff in Abbey House were incredibly kind and caring not only to my mother, who was a resident but also to my father who would visit frequently for long periods. They were proactive in informing us of any issues and went above and beyond to get more specialised medical help for my mother when she
needed it. They treated my mother with dignity right to the end and were very considerate towards all the family. Thank you so much for all that you did for our mother.

I would like to thank all the staff at Curtis Weston for making my mum and my family very welcome , it has taken time for her to accept she needs to be in a care home but now she enjoys being there , she is happy .. most of the time !! But mainly she is safe ! The staff, when I visit Mum are always
smiling and often stop for a chat , nothing is too much trouble and are always willing to help . The care Mum receives is excellent , I feel relieved she has finally settled and I can relax knowing she is content . Thank you

My lovely mum had been resident at Kirby house until she sadly passed away this week at the age of 92.
.
Every time i have visited I have been so impressed with the wonderful staff at Kirby House. They are all so kind and compassionate and the care they give to the residents is honestly second to
none. Many of them have been working at Kirby house for many years, (which is rare to find in care homes these days with high turnovers in staff) .. They always bring the residents together as much as possible so there is sense of community. They are all so cheerful and fun and they always made me and my family feel so welcome when visiting.

I really cannot thank you all enough for taking such wonderful care of our dear mum. You are amazing...you are angels.

kindest regards.

Kraig

Couldn't be more pleased with the service supplied by the staff at Abbey house. They went above and beyond to make my mother's stay as comfortable and happy as possible. Also, the home itself is great, lovely big dining room looking out on to a garden, big comfortable lounges, and nice spacious rooms.
Would highly recommended to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones

Sadly, my father passed away in November 25. I cannot praise the staff who supported my father highly enough. Their compassion and support for our family was exceptional and we will be forever in their debt . The senior staff and management were knowledgable, kind and considerate throughout his time
living there. If you are looking for a care home with both humanity and highly skilled staff then Harvey House should be visited and considered . A big thank you to everyone who frequently went the extra mile to support a much loved man.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Huntingdon Court is a homely and welcoming care home. It offers a pleasant and caring environment for the residents and every time I visit my mum the atmosphere is one of warmth, friendliness and kindness.
My mum is very happy living in the care home. She has made friends with other residents and
the staff are always thinking of activities and ways to keep the residents occupied and stimulated.
My mum is kept clean and the staff are very conscious to make sure she always has her walking frame to prevent falls. Safety is of high importance to the staff, especially making sure that no resident could leave the home if they are not safe to do so.
If my mum is unwell there is no hesitation to get a local GP or the paramedics out to her.
The meals are homemade and always look very appetising. My mum loves the pudding menu.
My mum's bedroom is always kept clean and tidy by the staff.
I know my mum is being cared for and this means that I can relax and not worry about her.

Most of staff are lovely and approachable, must state tho I really think there should be more than one hoist, for the amount that need the user of one, especially seeing some bursting to go to toilet and having to wait a long time love how Tracey is with patients. There are a couple of staff I find
just don't want to talk to you. But overall happy.
