Whilst the building is in need of some cosmetic upgrades, the staff and facilities are excellent, lots of activities for residents to partake in. Clean & tidy & residents well looked after & food excellent, staff always very helpful, pleasant & nothing too much trouble for them, I found a lovely place for my mother in law & she is more than happy there. Thank you.

Woodmarket House (WH) has offered successful long term dementia care for my mother. All the staff are pleasant attentive and very caring. My mother occasionally falls and the staff are well drilled and capable of dealing with the situation that does arise. An additional assessment facilitated by WH has allowed my mother to take short wheelchair trips out around the neighbourhood which is really great. Care plans do exist but are not regularly reviewed with family.

Staff were welcoming, professional and friendly. Cleanliness throughout was good and my Husband said the food was consistently tasty and the menu was varied. It was nice to have the use of a garden during the hot sunny weather. Easy car parking and good security at the main entrance.

The atmosphere was homely and safe.

Food Could do with a change now and then. More varied diet

Tillson house isn't the most aesthetically pleasing building compared to some others and could do with some updating in areas however I don't think you'd find better care anywhere else in the area. We are more than happy that mum is cared for well. The food is great most of the time and they do try and entertain the residents when they can x

I am really happy with the care giving to my husband. It has been so re-assuring. All staff are very approchable will give you answers to any questions you may have. As with any business if you have a good manager it will filter down to all your staff. And it does. Did I want my husband to go into a care home the answer is no! But on my experience, I could not ask for more he is being very well cared for in everyway from care, to food, to cleaning. And as you walk in there is no smell of urine. And greeted with friendly staff. I have no concerns at all so grateful to all staff.

I can't thank the staff enough for all they have done for my Mum, and for the support they have given us too.

A happy care home, staff very professional to residents needs.

Mum came to Tillson house following numerous falls from her bed and confusion she needed a safe environment and at Tillson it's perfect, the staff are endlessly patient and caring although she is bed bound she is happy and loves the fresh cooked meals

Brilliant care home.

Initially I was shown round the home and I am pleased we have secured a place in a really nice place.

We the family had great trepidation about putting our father into a care home as he had always asked us to never to that. We are delighted to say that he has settled in well since April and the care and support from the staff is exceptional. There is always lots of activities going on and when visiting we are always made to feel welcome.

My husband had been at the home for 2 weeks respite. The staff, carers and all helpers were brilliant and very helpful and lovely to talk to. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for respite of even permanent.

Outstanding service here. ALL staff have been absolutely amazing. They are genuine carers who genuinely care! Its nice to see such a dedicated team of hard working staff and management too. Days or nights all staff have given the best standard of care i could of imagined. They could not do enough for us or my dad. We have felt welcome from the minute we walked through the doors. The food has looked a very good standard and even we as visitors have been offered food and drinks. Thank you all for your hard work and effort. Your hard work does not go un-noticed. You are all an asset to the care industry. Thank you and keep up the excellent work and level of care you have provided.

Sadly My Cousin died on Saturday 11th July. She had lived at Thurn Court Residential Home for just over 2 years. The care and support she and her family received was excellent. The staff are all caring, supportive and friendly. The only downside is the condition of the home both inside and outside extensive repairs and decoration is needed. Nice outdoor area. Nice furniture, curtains etc. This does not reflect on the staff they work hard

What an excellent team! We saw some awful care homes so we know that Arbor House is a real find. They understand Dementia and they make life as fun as they can. It was Mums birthday this week and the whole atmosphere was one of a party and singing. The lovely young carers have stunning voices and were happy to sing happy birthday again and again as Mum would forget that it had already been sung several times. They make a big fuss of her. I am sure there are quieter relaxed days as well. Mum has been there for about 3 years now. She is well dressed, clean, her room is always clean and tidy and her bed made. Mums friends from church are all welcome to visit. The staff are supportive, welcoming, empathetic, kind and respectful. If Mum says she doesn't want to do something they listen to her. Sharni is parcularly lovely - answers any questions & is a delight. I have been unwell recently and not able to see her as often as before but I know she is in safe hands.

My father has been a resident at Arbor House for nearly 2 years and in that time he has settled in very well and thinks he is on holiday and staying in a hotel. Any concerns that I have raised about my fathers health such as his deteriorating mobilty or hearing needs have been addressed by the team immediately and the relevent health care professionals have dealt with his needs. My father has settled in very well and he is familiar with all of the staff. Gladys has a great team who work very hard looking after all of the residents, and its a welcoming place.

He has settled extremely well, and is very happy, and his confidence has returned since his fall. He has integrated very well considering he lived alone previously and was very independent. He really enjoys the company and staff and has no complaints at all.

Mum has been living at Arbor House for approaching eight years and throughout, mum's care has been exemplary. Her needs are very different to when she first moved into Arbor House and she continues to be treated with respect and dignity by all the staff. The manager and her team of staff do an excellent job of caring for mum, they are always in good spirits and interact with mum in a friendly and affectionate manner. I am always informed promptly if there are any issues with mum's health and kept up-to-date with visits from health professionals. The staff deal with any questions I have concerning mum very quickly, which is much appreciated. The home is well managed and continues to be very clean and tidy. Thank you to all the staff for the care you give to my mum.

On behalf of the family, I would like to thank all the staff for the care, kindness and compassion shown to my grandma during her time with you. The support she received especially in her final days, meant a great deal to our family. The staff treated my Grandma with respect even though she could be difficult at times + set in her ways. Thank you once again.
