Thurncourt provided care for my mother and dad's wife, It was extremly difficult for my 91 year old dad to accept that my mum needed full time care, the care and love that thurncourt And all the team and some residents Shown towards my mum was absolutly wonderfull, the care home made us very welcome and always considered our needs as a family, I must also comment on the cleanlines of the home and the excellent food offered to residents

My mother has lived at Thurncourt for 9 years . She has been well cared for by a loving and caring staff. The staff have been amazing right to the very end and looked after us and our mother when we needed it at such a difficult time. The home continues to maintain the dignity of residents and genuinely cares. There are a range of activities and events provided for the residents . Thank you so much for all that you have done.

Sadly My Cousin died on Saturday 11th July. She had lived at Thurn Court Residential Home for just over 2 years. The care and support she and her family received was excellent. The staff are all caring, supportive and friendly. The only downside is the condition of the home both inside and outside extensive repairs and decoration is needed. Nice outdoor area. Nice furniture, curtains etc. This does not reflect on the staff they work hard

On behalf of the family, I would like to thank all the staff for the care, kindness and compassion shown to my grandma during her time with you. The support she received especially in her final days, meant a great deal to our family. The staff treated my Grandma with respect even though she could be difficult at times + set in her ways. Thank you once again.

Always treated with dignity, compassion and love from the day moved to Thurncourt right up until he passed away. All staff show kindness and care even when its not their role. Nothing was ever too much trouble, any queries were always dealt with efficiently. They are a great team who all work together.

My husband was taken into Thurn Court residential home and received the best care for the two years he was in there from 2023 to 2025.

We were very close friends of the resident who was in care and would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude of the love and care shown to her by the fantastic staff at Thurn Court. Throughout her stay we were so impressed with the love and standard of care surrounding her + the warmth + dignity displayed at the end of her life. Thank you all so much.

The care home staff were excellent and took care of my brother very well in the few months he was there.

Caring, Patient team of staff, committed to the care of residents with a range of physical and mental disorders, challenging set of work tasks managed with genuine regard for residents' needs. Work pressures are dealt with calmly as per the leadership of the management team. Great effort put into maintenance of a stimulating environment - not easy with a range of disabilities in the main areas of the home.

I have been here a month now my feedback is this we. Have had very hot weather no fans in bedrooms and lack of cold drink we were given hot soup the other day come on!! Low toilet seata in most toilets manger doesn't wear a name badge to let visitors know who she is things need to improve.

My mother was a resident at Thurncourt from August 2024 until she sadly passed away on 5th February 2025. The care my mother received from day one was amazing, nothing was ever to much trouble and all the staff became her extended family; she was treated with dignity and respect from the onset and that did not change. As a family we were advised we could visit anytime and always welcomed with a smile and offered a hot/cold drink. It was the hardest decision to make, having to place my mother in a care home setting; however this decision was made more settling by the excellent care she received everyday right up until she passed away. During the final days of my mother's life, we could not have wished for a better setting for her to have been in, visitors were welcomed and were looked after during this very difficult and emotional time, the communication between care staff, GP and District Nurses was faultless ensuring my mother was pain-free during her nearing the end of her life.

My dad passed this Feb and been in home from 2022 from moving in, up till now everyone has been brilliant, caring, understanding everyone is so friendly it felt like a second home. Up until Dad's passing he was treated with care and compassion I couldn't have wished for a better home for Dad. They are all angels.

I would have no hesitation in recommending your home.

I would highly recommend this care home to any person who liked the comforts of a homely environment. All the staff are professional in their working positions. They are friendly and caring and go the extra mile to make it clean and comfortable to all the residents welfare needs.

The staff are all really helpful, friendly and really care for the residents. They do a great job and are a credit.

I recently had my mother in respite at Thurn Court. I needed a break. The staff at Thurn Court were so lovely that my mum did not even miss me. In fact they managed to get her to take her medication and eat more food than she does at home. She was a lot easier to handle after her stay. The staff must have had a magic touch with her. I would recommend them to anyone. Five stars is not enough.

The staff were friendy and they gave my sister good care. I was quite happy with the home and would have liked for her to remain there.

My Dad is at the end of his life but that hasn't stopped him with the support of the amazing staff at Thurn Court helping him manage his conditions with the utmost care, dignity, empathy and laughter as well as tears. Yes, some of the well-used areas of the home could do with a refresh but l know my Dad is well cared for and even loved by the members of staff. The manager oversees the care with empathy and professionalism and I know will always act in my Dad's best interests.
