Thurncourt is situated in a quiet residential area. Residents benefit greatly from staying in such a well-placed location with many local shops and amenities just a short walk away. The home's location enables residents to maintain independence and enjoy being part of the local community if they so wish.

The Home has two lounges, light and modern dining room and bathrooms designed for easy access. Car parking facilities for visiting family and friends as well as a large surrounding garden for residents to enjoy. Regular supervised entertainment and activities either as a group or on a one-to-one basis if needed.

One of the main objectives at Thurncourt is to provide a caring, safe, and homely environment where residents can feel comfortable, happy, and secure. Operated according to clear policies and procedures designed to produce a high-quality service. This is measured by the satisfaction of residents.

On visiting my mum she looks well and cared for, clean and as comfortable as she can be. Staff are always around and have a chat with her. They make me feel they are happy to be at work. I hear chat and laughter which I feel is a good environment to live in.
the home never smells and someone is always
cleaning.
All through the home it shows homely warmth in decor and feeling.

I cannot praise highly enough the kindness and care shown to my mother by all the staff at Thurn Court. She was immediately made to feel at ease and welcomed seamlessly into her new environment. The care given to her as an individual is faultless and all her needs have been met without exception. The
consideration given to members of the family is also second to none. Having had unhappy experiences in the past with care given to other elderly relatives, I would have no hesitation in giving the highest recommendation possible to Thurn Court.

No night manager on duty Thursday 11th and Friday 12th of February. During the take over meeting we had been assured a night manager would always be on shift. The above dates that we know of a manager was not present! Why?
My nan was taken really ill from a fall and a suspected stroke. We didn't think
she would make it through till Friday. Thankfully she did and is improving day by day.

Thurn Court is home from home for the residents and that makes the relatives relaxed knowing their loved ones are cared for in the best way. All residents are individual and they cater for their own personal requirements. Thurn Court is friendly and a lovely atmosphere. If you have any issues the manager,
seniors will sort them out for you. Since Thurn Court has been taken over you can see the changes to the inside of the building making it look brighter and clearer, more activities are happening.

Too much time is spend writing up notes and reports on residents rather than actually caring for them. Carers do not have enough time to chat with residents and their relatives regarding any concerns they may have.
