My mum has been a resident for 4+ years. It is a wonderful care home! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Any problems are sorted quickly. Management's door is always open so you can sort out queries quickly. The rooms are a good size + decorated beautifully. One of the best things about Woodheyes, besides the staff, is it doesn't smell! Mum love the food, there is always a good variety on the menu. Highly recommend this care home.

My brother has been a resident at Woodheyes Care Home for 18 months. He has always been shown respect and dignity.
I find that Woodheyes is always very clean, and the food that I have seen looks amazing. The staff are always friendly and willing to help.

We have found Woodheys to be a caring and welcoming environment for both residents and their family and friends. The home is spotless, and nothing is ever too much trouble for the carers, who are exceptional. It really is a home from home.

The staff have been very supportive and helpful towards me while my dad was settling into the care home. The care home have been supportive and caring to dad and understands his needs. The management explained and supported while making the change from Dad's last care home to this care home and supported me throughout.

I became a resident as I was becoming unable to manage alone at home, from the moment I entered Woodheyes I was met with friendly faces and cheerful greetings. My room was warm and comfortable and if i needed any sort of help it was a buzz away. Meals were really tasty and attractively served. Whoever I spoke to I was always met with time to help and a cheerful word. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel settled and happy here.

My mother has been a resident of Woodheyes since October 2017. Throughout this period of time she has been cared for to an exceptional standard. Though she no longer participants in activities, she remains interested in life around her and can still voice her observations. All staff are caring, compassionate and act in a professional manner at all times. I know how this has benefited her life experiences over the past 9 years.

We visited a number of homes before deciding where mum would go. As soon as we entered Woodheyes we were sure mum would be well looked after in a lovely, calm home. We were not wrong. The staff looked after mum in a warm, caring manner, always respecting her wishes and going above and beyond to help her. Her room and belongings were well looked after also. As a family we were warmly welcomed and able to visit whenever we wanted. The care mum and we were given during her last week helped her death to be peaceful and us to have the time we needed.

Both my parents resided at Woodheyes for a period of 3 weeks recently. The managers were fantastic, and anything my parents needed were catered for. All the staff were brilliant, and the food was a really high standard. The home was clean and was undergoing further refurbishment. The areas already finished are to a high standard.
Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member, and the whole atmosphere of Woodheys is one of happiness.
I would highly recommend Woodheyes and would not hesitate to use this care home if my parents ever needed permanent care.

Thank you everyone!

Staff are excellent and very kind and caring. The home has recently been refurbished and is very smart. Bedrooms are being done as and when vacated, so mum's room is in need of refreshing. Food is very good and plentiful.

I am very happy with the home and the care she receives here.

Woodheyes is a lovely building, very well decorated and designed. The central garden is a lovely spot to look at and sit in the good weather.
Staff know the patients/residents well and care for them as individuals. Families are all welcome.

Excellent care home. Staff attentive and welcoming. Good range of inclusive activities. Lovely to see Mum engaging and joining in via the social media page. Mum has dementia so cannot recall activities she has taken part in. The home is bright and airy with lovely gardens and a separate lounge as an option when visiting. The home organised a brilliant summer fete with families and friends joining residents and staff for a fun, fundraising afternoon.

Overall Experience
My late mother was a resident of Woodheyes from January 2018 to September 2022. Throughout that time she was treated with nothing less than kindness, respect and affection by all the members of staff. The home was always perfectly clean and my mother was very well cared for. The staff looked after her brilliantly and made every effort to engage with her. During the extremely difficult period of the pandemic, the home and staff managed brilliantly. We were so grateful for how well they looked after her; her carers became her family when we were unable to visit due to the various lockdowns.

We were always kept fully abreast of her health and care needs and felt very happy that she was in such capable hands. The staff at the home are superstars. I would give them 6 stars if it were possible.

Fabulous home!
My dad has been in the home for just over two years, he was familiar with it as my great aunt lived here, he always spoke highly of the staff and home, and so we knew this was the home for Dad when he could no longer stay at home. He has always been very well cared for and very happy.
All the staff are lovely, very kind and considerate and respectful to my dad. All his needs are taken care of and during the COVID-19 crisis all residents have been kept safe and well, and looked after. The staff have been there as their family over the last 6 months more so than ever, with no loved ones being able to visit.
They have been amazing. The home is always clean and tidy and activities are often on the agenda, in normal time the home has activities that the loves ones can take part in too.

It's a wonderful home I wouldn't want my dad to be anywhere else and highly recommend it.
