My mum has been a resident for 4+ years. It is a wonderful care home! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Any problems are sorted quickly. Management's door is always open so you can sort out queries quickly. The rooms are a good size + decorated beautifully. One of the best things about Woodheyes, besides the staff, is it doesn't smell! Mum love the food, there is always a good variety on the menu. Highly recommend this care home.

We have found Woodheys to be a caring and welcoming environment for both residents and their family and friends. The home is spotless, and nothing is ever too much trouble for the carers, who are exceptional. It really is a home from home.

Woodheyes is such a wonderful home everybody seems contented and when I visit my mum she always gives me the ins and outs of the staff popping in to see her, they all have a laugh and she's so happy. The staff work very hard.

I became a resident as I was becoming unable to manage alone at home, from the moment I entered Woodheyes I was met with friendly faces and cheerful greetings. My room was warm and comfortable and if i needed any sort of help it was a buzz away. Meals were really tasty and attractively served. Whoever I spoke to I was always met with time to help and a cheerful word. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel settled and happy here.
Thank you so much for your kind words. You are most welcome and really are a pleasure to care for. We are really enjoying getting to know you and making you a real part of the Woodheyes family.
My mother has been a resident of Woodheyes since October 2017. Throughout this period of time she has been cared for to an exceptional standard. Though she no longer participants in activities, she remains interested in life around her and can still voice her observations. All staff are caring, compassionate and act in a professional manner at all times. I know how this has benefited her life experiences over the past 9 years.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. Your mum certainly has a character that we love having around the home.
We visited a number of homes before deciding where mum would go. As soon as we entered Woodheyes we were sure mum would be well looked after in a lovely, calm home. We were not wrong. The staff looked after mum in a warm, caring manner, always respecting her wishes and going above and beyond to help her. Her room and belongings were well looked after also. As a family we were warmly welcomed and able to visit whenever we wanted. The care mum and we were given during her last week helped her death to be peaceful and us to have the time we needed.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. Your mum truly was a pleasure to care for and we are thankful that we had the chance to get to know her and her whole family. You will all be missed around the home.
Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member, and the whole atmosphere of Woodheys is one of happiness.
I would highly recommend Woodheyes and would not hesitate to use this care home if my parents ever needed permanent care.
Thank you everyone!

On the whole I am very pleased with the care Mum receives. The staff are very caring and know her very well.
Thank you for your lovely words, your mum truly is a pleasure to care for.
Many thanks to all staff.
Thank you for such a lovely review. Your mum is truly a pleasure to have live with us.
Staff know the patients/residents well and care for them as individuals. Families are all welcome.
Mum says she likes all the people and how busy it is, she enjoys the company.
Thank you so much for taking time to leave this review and for the lovely words. Your mum is a pleasure to have around and care for.
Excellent care home. Staff attentive and welcoming. Good range of inclusive activities. Lovely to see Mum engaging and joining in via the social media page. Mum has dementia so cannot recall activities she has taken part in. The home is bright and airy with lovely gardens and a separate lounge as an option when visiting. The home organised a brilliant summer fete with families and friends joining residents and staff for a fun, fundraising afternoon.
We are delighted to receive your review and are grateful for the trust you have placed in Woodheyes. Your kind words mean a lot to us and motivate our dedicated team to continue providing the best care possible to your mother.
We were always kept fully abreast of her health and care needs and felt very happy that she was in such capable hands. The staff at the home are superstars. I would give them 6 stars if it were possible.
Thank you Gillian, your mum was a real star too.
My dad has been in the home for just over two years, he was familiar with it as my great aunt lived here, he always spoke highly of the staff and home, and so we knew this was the home for Dad when he could no longer stay at home. He has always been very well cared for and very happy.
All the staff are lovely, very kind and considerate and respectful to my dad. All his needs are taken care of and during the COVID-19 crisis all residents have been kept safe and well, and looked after. The staff have been there as their family over the last 6 months more so than ever, with no loved ones being able to visit.
They have been amazing. The home is always clean and tidy and activities are often on the agenda, in normal time the home has activities that the loves ones can take part in too.
It's a wonderful home I wouldn't want my dad to be anywhere else and highly recommend it.
