Thank you for your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your recent experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to take this opportunity to provide some context as we have discussed. Following a detailed care assessment, it was identified that keeping a water jug at the bedside posed a falls risk for your husband. That said, we want to reassure you that we take pride in hydration being an utmost priority for us; we routinely offer water and fluids to all residents throughout the day. In addition, residents have access to the nurse call bell system, and we work to respond within 30 seconds, ensuring prompt attention to their needs. With regard to medication, we strive to administer all medication in a timely and safe manner. Our internal audits confirms we are performing well in this area. We welcome ongoing dialogue and are always open to working closely with families to make sure their loved ones feel safe and supported. Thank you again for raising your concerns.

Vicky is the Registered Manager at George Hythe House and has been working there for a whopping 20 years! She knows her home better than anyone and is a fabulous manager who knows her staff and residents like family.
When asked, Vicky said her staff would describe her as firm but fair, which we have seen to be true in the well-organised and fiercely proud team that she has created.
