Thank you to all the staff at The Willows for all the care they gave my mother over the last two and a half years, especially in the last few days or her life. Despite all the problems the staff had to deal with due to the COVID 19 pandemic, every member of staff worked to ensure all the residents were safe and well looked after and, for the few times we were allowed to visit Mum in the last few months, we were made us feel welcome. Thank you to the staff also for the cups of tea you gave me when I visited every Friday. I cannot recommend highly enough this wonderful home and the high standards of all staff and aspects of care they provide.

When searching for a care home for my Mother we were introduced to The Willows care home by social services and had a first class meeting with the manager, who soon put our minds at ease over the care and attention Mum would receive. Together with the facilities available to her, my husband and I went ahead placing Mum in their care. Over the years Mum's health has deteriorated but her care, as she gets older, is still of an excellent standard and our visits are most appreciated by all the staff.

My stepmother has been at The Willows for over 18 months now and I am very happy with her care.
The food is home cooked and traditional with lots of fresh vegetables which she loves.

It does not have a clinical atmosphere like some care homes but is very homely. I love the cats wandering about it all adds to the feel of the place.

My sister and I were very lucky to be granted a week's respite care for our 97-year-old mother at 'The Willows' at literally a few days' notice after an emergency hospital admission.
Our mother was made extremely welcome by all staff, who were attentive, caring and very approachable and we both felt that she was in very safe hands at 'The Willows'. Whenever we visited, it was evident that staff had been checking her regularly and mum commented frequently on how charming everyone had been and that they all found time to chat to her and made her feel welcome.

The accommodation was clean and well-maintained. We would have preferred mum to have had en-suite facilities, but not all rooms offered these. Given the fact that we were able to book a room so quickly, this was a relatively small disappointment, compared to the high quality of care and trustworthiness.

Out of 5 care homes visited in the last 2 years I think The Willows Care Home is very good value.
The food is extremely good, the entertainment is also very good, the care and support and the kindness of staff and management you could not better.

My mother is very happy in their care.

I am very pleased the way my Dad is treated. He seems very happy and well looked after. It is very good the way you put the effort into getting him up and down stairs every day, getting him to mix with the other residents. Thank you.

The Willows Care Home was recommended to me by a friend whose father-in-law had been a resident as they had previously removed him from another care home. I found everything they said to be accurate from the patient and caring staff, to the home-cooked meals using fresh vegetables. It truly is a home from home even down to the two lovely cats!

The staff were fantastic today as always. Mum had a lovely birthday and I was able to share some special time with her. I took a cake in to be told that one had also been made for her and that every would be singing happy birthday. Mum said several times how happy she is there with all her friends. It was wonderful to see her relaxed, safe and content in her home.

My dad has only been at the care home for 3 weeks and I have nothing but praise for the care and compassion that has been shown to him. He has been very poorly on occasions and not really knowing him very well, everyone has shown kindness and respect.

My Mother was looked after with care, compassion, and humour, she was happy at the Willows. I live 150 miles away from her and the staff were more than happy to tell me what she had been up to, she was not an easy person to deal with but I never once heard a member of staff being blunt with her. I have nothing but the highest praise for them. The last few weeks of Mum's life were very traumatic, but she was looked after in her room and lovingly cared for, to know she was being looked after so well made it a lot easier on me because of being so far away and not able to visit her very often.
