Richardson Partnership for Care (RPC) provides residential care packages for adults aged 17 and over with acquired brain injuries, designed to meet the needs of the individual and ensuring they have the right level of care and support. A multi-disciplinary support team includes a consultant clinical psychologist, assistant psychologists, a psychiatrist, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and a speech and language therapist.
Following an accurate assessment and with the appropriate care, professionals find that even people with the most challenging behaviour make very good progress. A long history in supporting individuals has taught RPC that one size does not fit all and has led them to develop homes to accommodate people in a variety of ways. Supported home visits are provided if required so that important family links can be maintained.
Staff retention is high, resulting in valuable continuity for service users. Training is second to none, with a rolling programme every three weeks.
