Dad has been a resident for over 3 years now and throughout that time has received excellent care. As well as providing nursing care, personal care, nourishment, a clean and safe environment and activities for the residents, staff across the board are friendly and engaging with them and relatives / visitors alike. As his needs have changed so his care has been tailored accordingly. He has had some falls which have been managed with professionalism and calm which is very reassuring for us and him. During a conversation with paramedics about monitoring Dad and looking out for changes after a fall I realised that in fact the team at BCH know him better than I do now! An unexpected bonus is the very active engagement with the local community with all sorts of events being organised and hosted. Thank you to everyone.

I regularly visit residents as a friend on Wednesday afternoons. There are always different activities in the main lounge to cover the different interests of all the residents. If the weather is good they can sit outside in the beautiful garden where there is a greenhouse and a raised bed for those who enjoy gardening. There is even a beehive. Upstairs there is a cinema and at times it is used for exercise classes. There are a number of small lounges for those who wish to sit and read or do puzzles. A leaflet is given to each resident listing the activities for the day. In general there is a lovely atmosphere throughout the care home.

In response to your comments we have introduced a doorbell system that alerts staff when someone is waiting to enter or exit the home, helping to ensure that assistance can be provided promptly. We also have a receptionist available at weekends to support visitors and improve access to the home. We continue to review staffing levels to ensure we maintain a consistent standard of care and support for our residents.

Robin was transferred to Brackley Care Home initially for rest bite care after spending weeks in hospital with a broken Hip. Upon arriving at the home he was greeted by staff with a warm welcome, taken to his room and provided with a meal. They have made Robin feel very settled and relaxed. I feel that we have our old Robin back as he was initially very confused whilst in hospital. Robin is very happy here therefore he has decided that he would like to stay long term as he feels that this is the right place for him to be. He says that he couldn't ask for anything more as he is well looked after and everyone is so nice. This Care Home is just wonderful, more like a hotel. I just can't fault it. All staff from Management, Care staff, nursing staff to catering etc are all very nice.

I was very reluctant coming to a care home but from the 1st day I arrived I was made welcome. I haven't been a social person in the past due to circumstances yet I am gradually meeting more residents within the home. I am still finding it difficult to accept that I am now not able to do everything for myself. Being here has helped with my mental health as well as my physical health, knowing that I am in good care here.

Julie has been in Brackley nursing home for over 2 years. She seems very happy and contented and joins in lots of activities. She has her hair done regularly, and our daughter lives nearby and sees Julie regularly with our grandchildren. All in all, we made a very good choice picking this care home...

I arranged a weeks respite for my husband i was anxious about leaving him as it was the first time he's been out of my care The staff and residents made both him and myself feel very welcome. His room was lovely with a view On to the courtyard gardens. I stayed for lunch the food was tasty and there was plenty of it. he had a bit of a wobble when it came time to leave and the staff were very reassuring and I was happy to leave him in their care. I was updated on how he had settled in and on the couple of occasions when he got confused they called me and we had a chat. He seems to have enjoyed himself and made himself known to everyone. Overall it was a positive experience for both of us and I will certainly send him there for more respite weeks. I would fully recommend brackley care home there's plenty of daily activities and many community afternoons and the residents all seem settled. Visitors were welcomed and theres coffee and cakes always available. Thank you

My husband was a resident in the Brackley Nursing Home from December, 2025 until just before his death in hospital in April, 2026. He had vascular dementia with increasing mobility problems which eventually left him bedridden. He had had previous respite care in the home and enjoyed the relaxed surroundings and the care he received. So becoming a full-time resident wasn't a problem for him. Over the months of deterioration until his death, my husband received loving care from all the staff, nurses and healthcare assistants. He wasn't able to take part in most of the variety of activities offered - but he was given the choice. He enjoyed the atmosphere and surroundings. He felt both valued and safe.

The care & support they provide enables her to rebuild her strength & confidence after medical incidents, in a friendly and inspiring environment. The dedicated team are always responsive to my sister's specific needs and this allows us to relax, knowing she is being expertly cared for by her second family!

It's a nice and peaceful environment even if it appears close to an industrial estate!

My Father has been in Brackley Care Home since December 2025, we had a family crisis and the staff at the home really helped us to get him some for respite care initially. This has now become a permanent care home for his ongoing care. At home Dad was quite sedentary and had lost his zest for life. The care home has been giving him stimulating exercises and classes and he is absolutely thriving on them and his sparkle is back in his eye.
The level of care he gets is incredibly high and we drop in on him unannounced and always find him clean, comfortable and he absolutely raves about how good the food is.
All the staff I meet are incredibly helpful and we are kept informed of any issues that need dealing with straightaway.
My father is a very happy man in the home and we feel he is in the right place for him.
