My Mum has been in Brackley Care Home for 9 months. She has dementia. Moving her to a care home was a big but essential decision for us to make and I can't praise the staff enough for how caring, welcoming, thoughtful and fun they've been with my Mum, literally from the minute we arrived. She has settled so well and is so happy there, constantly telling me how lovely it is and how friendly all the staff are. It's an absolute pleasure visiting her in such a wonderfully happy place.
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback which has been passed on to all our staff.
Whilst visiting my wife who is a resident on the rainbow suite I was invited to join in the seated exercise session which was been run by the customer relationship manager I enjoyed it and I still had enough energy left to do some work on my allotment afterwards. I was impressed by the encouragement the customer relationship manager gave to the less able participants
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Its lovely to hear you participated in our activities whilst visiting your wife, everyone is always welcome. I will share your feedback with my team.
I have visited my father-in-law on a number of occasions since he became a resident in August 2024. We have always found the staff supportive and polite, more importantly they always take time to discuss things when visiting. I am very happy with the professional standards of the staff at the home, the warm welcoming environment and the fact that my father-in-law is safe and well cared for.
Thank you for taking the time in completing this review. We will always go above and beyond to provide the best care to our residents. I will be sure to share your feedback with our team.
Brackley Care Home is a lovely, welcoming place. My Mum moved in last June and she has really thrived since she's been there. The staff are kind and helpful and they have been very flexible to meet my Mum's needs. It's always a pleasure to visit her, knowing that she's being well looked after and cared for.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. It is lovely to hear your kind words about our staff team. We will always go above and beyond in caring for our residents. I will be sure to feed back your comments to our team.
My mother in law was treated with the dignity and respect she deserves from the moment she arrived. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful and can't do enough for her or us as guests. We eat with her sometimes which she enjoys and the food is superb. The new chef even made a special cake for her late husband. The activities are varied and she is beginning to join in with some which is lovely to see. We love seeing what she's up to on the social media page!
I would like to say thank you for taking the time for providing this lovely feedback. It is nice to see your mother in law joining in with life here at Brackley Care Home. From start to finish they have been efficient, informative and helpful and no task or conversation is undertaken without empathy and care.
I couldn't recommend them highly enough, the stress and worry that has been taken away is immeasurable.

She was very pleased with her stay, her first in a care home. She felt that she was listened to and cared for.
She said that all the staff had a big smile as they greeted her, and at no time was she made to feel a nuisance.
She is quite willing to go again, should the need arise.
Her only complaint was that she would have liked more baths! A novelty for her these days, but she had to admit that they kept her very clean anyway.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. It was our pleasure to look after your mother and she is welcomed back at any time. Knowing our staff have had such a positive impact on her stay is lovely to hear and I will be sure to feed this back to the team.
A lovely care home to live in. First class furnishings. Always made welcome, and given refreshments.

My mother moved into Brackley Care home in early December. The staff were welcoming, kind and attentive and the standard of facilities are excellent. Quality of catering is very high and the focus on activities for those who are interested is really impressive.
We are very appreciative of your wonderful review and your kind words have been shared with our whole team. We pride ourselves on providing a person-centred environment for all of our residents.
My mother was not in the home for long but during this time, she was very well looked after, in every way. We were able to relax knowing she was being monitored very closely and her needs met. All members of the caring staff were always bright and cheerful no matter what their role. Mum's room was light and spacious with a nice aspect. She was unable to use the extra facilities/activities but it was nice to see them going on. Overall, as mum couldn't remain in her own home, this was an ideal place for her to end her days in.

The staff are very efficient and compassionate in what they do. We would particularly like to thank management for their support and also one of the care assistants, in particular, who, without a doubt, has been amazing and one of the trained nurses.
Thank you all so much.

Brackley Care Home is warm and friendly, wrapping its arms around you. The Brackley team make this such a comfortable place to be in and visit, treating everyone, not just the residents but family and friends too, with warmth care and respect. It is light, airy, clean and beautifully appointed. The food is like homecooked and appetising with friends and family being able to join the resident for meals if they wish. I have experienced that the team go above and beyond to make residents' stays as enjoyable as possible. For example, it was their idea for my dad's biker friends to take their bikes to the home so Dad could see them all. Also, they arranged a trip to a local aerodrome cafe where a friend and I joined Dad and a carer for breakfast. I cannot praise the Brackley team enough for all they have done during Dad's stay. I visit knowing that I will be welcomed warmly and that Dad and I have such amazing support and care. It is truly a home from home in many ways.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this lovely review of Brackley Care Home. We like everyone who visits to feel comfortable and part of our ever-extended family here at Brackley. We have an excellent activity team who really do go above an beyond to ensure our residents needs are met. I will share your lovely feedback with our whole team.

Meet the Team (5)

She has dedicated over 20 years to the care sector, predominantly in nursing settings. With a fervent commitment to upholding exceptional standards of care, she strives to foster independence and create a sense of belonging for residents at Brackley Care Home.

I come from South Africa where I worked in a customer-facing role within the horse racing industry for many years. I have been at Brackley Care Home almost since the day it opened in November 2020 and love absolutely everything about my role. The close human interaction is what I thrive on and I strive to deliver exceptional customer service whilst building on and developing strong interpersonal relationships with our residents, our families, our staff and our visitors to the home as well as to the wider Brackley community. In my spare time, I enjoy visiting National Trust properties, exercising, reading and doing cross-stitch.

My name is Emma, and I am the Administrator at Brackley Care Home. I have always worked in customer-focused roles and find the Healthcare Industry in particular, very rewarding. I have worked with the organization for over two years now and am looking to further my education and skills by undergoing an NVQ in Business Administration & also Leadership and Management. One of the things I love about working here is the atmosphere - Everyone cares and supports one another, and the staff all work incredibly hard. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, cooking and sometimes painting. I’m also very interested in Interior Design.

Most of my working career has been in middle management in both the retail and hospitality industries before I changed my career path to working in care homes. I love the special time I get to spend with the residents at Brackley Care Home - we are always learning from each other and I am privileged to have the chance to make wonderful memories with them. In my spare time, I love cooking, gardening and fine wines.

I'm Chanice and I've worked in care for over 10 years where I started as a volunteer before moving into activities. I enjoy spending time with our residents at Brackley Care Home and love listening to all the wonderful stories that they have to share.
Outside of work I love being with my family and dancing and I also volunteer as a dance teacher's assistant teaching children ballet and freestyle.
