My mum has been a permanent resident at St Christopher's for over two years now. Prior to that, she had been having respite when I was away for many years. Mum lived in Northampton over 40 years ago when she visited people living at the home. My parents returned to live here following my father' s retirement.
Mum always said she would want to live at St Christopher's when she needed to be looked after. Initially, she had her name down for independent living however she was able to remain in her own home until she was 93. As a resident, the home has more than lived up to her expectations. All the staff are caring and considerate treating mum as an individual, respecting her wishes as to how she likes to live her life. I am sure without their attentiveness to her medical needs my mum would not be as healthy and happy as she is now.
Thank you to all the staff at St Christopher's for looking after my mum so well.

Wonderful home with excellent staff. Their care saved my Mother's life and my own. They have given my best friend back to me and my Mother herself says she is better off at St. Christopher's than she would be at home, even if I was able to look after her. I get to spend quality time with my Mother,
sometimes joining in with activities, sometimes having a cup of tea and a natter. The rooms, common areas and grounds are well maintained, and the atmosphere is lovely. I simply cannot praise the Home enough, or express my gratitude adequately.

Impressed with this home overall, particularly the varied areas for the residents to enjoy and the number of activities available.
As my mother is fairly independent at the moment I can’t comment on the nursing care but would say the staff are approachable and friendly towards the residents and visitors
alike.

My elderly Mum has been a resident for almost 9 years. When physically well she particularly enjoys the well-maintained garden areas and lounge spaces. Before her sight deteriorated Mum appreciated the almost daily "things to do" and social interactions that regularly take place. Overall the staff
are very caring and take an individual interest in Mum as a person. I would recommend this care home to anyone who wants to know their loved one is safe and looked after especially when they are not so physically well.
