56 Spinney Hill Road, Northampton NN3 6DN
"Structured holistic environment" Spinney Hill specialises in supporting adults with a dual diagnosis of mental health or challenging needs associated with their learning disability, within a comfortable and homely residential environment.
The home has large garden areas that are popular for relaxing in and ideal for those in need of rehabilitation and the development of personal confidence and self-esteem.
Spinney Hill's aim is to develop independent living skills with the assistance of local community initiatives, educations centres and health professionals.
All individuals have access to, and are overseen by a regional RGM clinical lead, clinical support nurse and specialist behaviour advisers, for support in psychological and physical health needs. The mental health recover star is implemented for those with mental health needs to monitor key domains of well-being. From the recovery assessment star, progression plans are developed in areas of need. These outline specific strategies, interventions and goals to facilitate recovery and well-being. Goals are then implemented to key focus areas.
