On the map it is seven miles from Nottingham, eleven miles from Derby and three miles from Junction 26 on M1 Motorway.
It is also easily accessible via public transport and bus routes.
Here at The Rookery you are welcome to visit at any time and stay for as long as you may like. You are welcome to sit in the lounge or in the bedroom or if you like, take your friend / relative for a day out.
We would recommend, if you are coming from far away to call before you leave, just in case the person you are visiting has gone out or has a doctor/GP appointment.
Numerous parking places are available on the road in the front and on the side. Limited parking slots are also available within the Rookery building premises.

The problem I find is the front and rear gardens - they could do with a makeover. This would possibly give the ambulant residents the encouragement to sit outside in good summer weather and also give the non-ambulant residents the opportunity to just look at the plants and flowers from their outside seating.
