My mother has bow been at Knightswood for almost 4 years and in that time I have found all staff to be helpful if I've needed answers to anything regarding my mum. They are all exceeding caring, professional and patient when dealing with any situation that arrises with her. She can be stubborn and ackward on occasions but on the whole she does appreciate all the care and assistance they give her.
Thank you for your kind review, it's very much appreciated
The food is lovely, the catering staff also make extra special treats for days such as Valentines and Easter.
There is a lovely outdoor space for residents to sit out and enjoy the weather safely.
As relatives, the staff know our names and we are welcomed at anytime
The manager is very approachable and has an open door so you can see her. She engages with the clients all the time and is very supportive of not only the clients but the relatives .
My mum has settled very well and enjoys all the social activities and has made friends in there. As relatives we have also formed relationships with other relatives.

My mother has been a resident in Knightswood for the past 10 months. She has always appeared very happy and settled really well. Never once asking to go home. She always says how lovely the staff are. She has been encouraged to participate in all the activities. The staff are very committed to ensuring the residents' needs & comfort are fully met. We are always kept informed of any changes in condition. Very well run.
Thank you for your kind review; it's very much appreciated.
The staff are kind and friendly to both residents and their families. The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. The residents are encouraged to take part in various activities and trips out. Nothing seems to be too much trouble, just ask. Food is nutritious and well-cooked.

My mum has been a resident of Knightwood for over three years and the care and attention she has received has been nothing short of outstanding. Whenever I visit the home is always really clean and all the staff are so friendly and approachable. They have a really strong range of activities and my mum really loves the singers. Mum loves the food and I know full well that she is being really well looked after. the communication from the home is also first rate.
On behalf of Jayne and the team at Knightswood we thank you such a positive review and your kind words will be shared with everyone
We are very happy with our choice of Knightswood Residential Home. The management and staff are so friendly and obliging. The food is brilliant too. We are always made to feel welcome and I know that my dad is being well looked after.
Thankyou for your kind words which are really appreciated by myself and staff at Knightswood
On visiting Knightswood it is always a pleasant experience with staff that are hard working putting the residents first with a constant smile on their face. Nothing is too much trouble and all tasks are carried out with care and attention to detail. The food is plentiful and made to a high standard with excellent entertainment and the cleanliness of the home and upkeep of the gardens is first-class. Overall the full team deserve credit for the smooth running of an excellent care home.
Thankyou for your kind review, it is very much appreciated
My sister has been at Knightswood for over 12 months with dementia and is settled and content with her new house as she calls it.
As a family, we were immediately impressed by the friendliness of the atmosphere and staff, Questions asked are answered immediately in an open and transparent way and an invitation to visit at any time, other than consideration for meal times when staff are busy and nowhere is restricted. A resident can wander into the lounge, dining room or conservatory if company is needed or stay comfortably in their own private room with staff regularly popping in if a cup of tea or chat is needed.
In her 12 months at Knightswood, my sister and all the other residents are treated with care and dignity, their needs met fully with plenty of activities, keep fit and entertainment laid on every week with visiting performers. Trips out and holidays can be enjoyed with the staff treating each resident as if they were indeed family and care is outstanding.
Thankyou for your kind review, this is very much appreciated by all the staff at Knightswood, we hope you continue to be happy with the care provided and can approach staff with any concerns
I just love the care and attention by all the staff that is shown to the residents and how comfortable you can approach them. There are always lots of activities and entertainment. I do think though that more staff is needed to be able to give extra attention to those who most need it.
Thank you for the lovely words; it's a pleasure and honour to look after all our clients.
All lovely and welcoming staff. They made a cake for my grandma's birthday and a card and always pop their head in when I'm there to say hello and make my grandma laugh. I always hear laughter from the staff and everybody is always in good spirits!
Thankyou so much for your feedback which is very much appreciated.
I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Knightswood, everybody is very friendly, and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. My dad moved in June 2023 and is very happy with everything. I feel more secure knowing that Dad is looked after 24/7 by a wonderful team. The house is set in lovely surroundings with large gardens. Staff organise events for the residents, singers, exercise classes etc. I would like to personally thank everybody at Knightswood, couldn't ask for better.
Thank you very much for your feedback it's very much appreciated.
The staff are kind and helpful. Management is always keen to know how I am and always resolves any concerns I may have. Very happy to be here and am well looked after.
Thank you so much for your review Ann, the staff and I very much appreciate your comments.
My father has been in Kinghtswood since April 2023. It is very reassuring to know that he is being cared for around the clock by people he is getting to know well. The staff are all amazing, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. He has a comfortable room and the food is wonderful and very tasty. I couldn't have found a better home, especially as it's so local for me. I can't thank everyone enough for their kindness.
Thank you so much for your review. The staff and management really appreciate your positive feedback.
My sister and I visited Knightswood as a possible permanent home for Mum. As soon as we walked into the hall and were greeted by the staff, we knew it was the perfect placement. Mum's admission was well-managed and efficient. The staff are amazing and treat Mum as one of their own. Dignity, respect, humour, consideration, caring, encouragement and reassurance.
My mum was cared for by Knightswood for the last 6 months of her life. The staff were exceptional and I cannot praise them highly enough. They were always friendly and positive, creating a nice environment in difficult circumstances (CV-19). A special mention for one member of staff, in particular, who's as mad as a box of frogs but a lovely lovely lady!
On behalf of the box of frogs and all the team, we thank you for your kind words and it was a pleasure to know and look after your mum.
We made the difficult decision after my mum had fallen and lost a lot of her mobility that we could not cope at home. Due to Covid I went with a personal recommendation and the website to enquire at Knightswood. I was impressed by the attitude and clear description of life in the home and the initial isolation of two weeks. My mum has not found the move easy at 95 years old but she is now settling in and mixing with the residents. The help I have received from the manager and the staff has been great.
We thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for trusting us to look after your mum especially in these very troubling times and we hope she continues to enjoy her stay.
She settled down as quickly as could be expected given her dementia and soon felt at home - I could see this in her eyes. She particularly enjoyed the music activities and the times when children visited, as this reminded her of her time as a teacher.
My wife and I were always made welcome, even at times the staff had a lot on their plates. It was always fun to chat with residents. Usually something going on, such as keep fit, bingo and sing-a-longs. From Las Vegas-style glammed up divas to smoothie Michael Bublé style singers, the music was always entertaining!
Knightswood is not the biggest or fanciest care home, but has a lovely, homely feel, with a manager and staff who really care. This was particularly clear in the immense effort the staff have made during the Covid 19 lockdown.
I would recommend Knightswood to friends and family without hesitation.
Dear David, on behalf of everyone associated with Knightswood, we thank you for your kind review and for taking the time and effort to do so.
I find Knightswood Care Home a professional and very caring establishment, from the supervisor throughout the caring staff and the service staff. All are very friendly and caring which gives me a lot of confidence in my aunt's care at the home.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review us and for putting your trust in us, to look after your Aunt.
The home is clean, free from odours and this has been the case over many years (all the time). I have also recommended the care home to friends who have also had family here. Thank you for looking after our mother and family.
Thank you for your kind words.
My mother is well looked after here in Knightswood. The staff and management are excellent and very caring, they show great patience with her which is very necessary due to her condition. The home is very secure and both myself and father are very satisfied with her care and communication is good. There is regular visits from other care professionals such as Chiropodist, Optician, Hairdresser and there is regular entertainment. My mother is not the best of eaters but the food provided is very good and staff always encourage my mother to eat.
Thank you for your review, very much appreciated.
