Overall Experience
It's hard to choose a residential home for a loved one who has been so independent. Mum needed a home from home and this is what she has, her room is delightful with her own pictures and ornaments. The staff are truly caring and lovely treating the residents with dignity and respect , the Managers...
It's hard to choose a residential home for a loved one who has been so independent. Mum needed a home from home and this is what she has, her room is delightful with her own pictures and ornaments. The staff are truly caring and lovely treating the residents with dignity and respect , the Managers also do really care that the best is given. As a family we know Mum gets the best 24hour care and we know she is looked after, Mum came to the home after a spell in Hospital where she was so underweight, now she has blossomed with a nutritional diet and is so much healthier, at 92 years young she is still living her best live with the activities and outings provided. We of course take her out to family homes and to familiar places.
Truly I cannot recommend Glenbank enough as a residential home, Glenys said when my Sister and I visited you will get a feel for a place and we did.

The care my mother received at Glenbank until her death in February 2019 has been exceptionally good. All the staff and the owner are caring, compassionate, helpful, friendly and trustworthy. The care my mother received at Glenbank until her death in February 2019 has been exceptionally good. All the staff and the owner are caring, compassionate, helpful, friendly and trustworthy. The freshly prepared meals are tasty and nutritious and the residents are all clean and nicely dressed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to anyone in need of a place in a care home. The staff not only care for the residents but for their families and friends visiting too.

All the staff are very supportive. Mum is kept comfortable which is all we can ask for. They check on her regularly, keeping mum pain free is a priority. All mums family members are welcomed. We are offered food and drinks again could not ask for more. The staff are approachable answering any...

Every resident is treated with care, respect and dignity and care is directed to the individual resident's needs and character.
There are a wide and varying number of activities to suit many different tastes.

There are good links with the community - visits out to local/non-local amenities and visits in by local church groups (multi-faith) entertainers and even a farm visit!
