What a Fantastic Team at Ferrol Lodge. My mother was a Resident at Ferrol Lodge for 7 years. The staff are fantastic, always go above and beyond to care for your relative. I will always be very very grateful for the way they all looked after her right up to her last breath. Thank you.
My aunt moved into Ferrol Lodge at the beginning of 2024 and it has improved her mental well being significantly. She has always been an active person, but unfortunately had a couple of falls which resulted in her needing more support. She arrived at Ferrol Lodge via hospital and a council care home, the care she has received since arriving at Ferrol Lodge has been a significant improvement on what had been provided previously.
As mentioned by other contributors, activities are arranged for the residents and the facilities are continually being maintained and improved, most noticeably the garden area with the Christmas decorations. The staff really do care, they support both the residents and their families. We cannot speak highly enough of the care she is receiving.
Thank you so much for your review, the staff team are so proud of the care we provide and our lovely home. Much appreciated and I will pass this on to the rest of the team.
I am so happy my dad has moved to Ferrol Lodge Care Home. It's a lovely, comfortable home with great staff. Dad has had a new lease of life. Lots of activities and a friendly atmosphere. Staff really seem to care, although it must be a difficult profession caring for people with a range of needs.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. Your comments have been very well received by all staff and it makes our job even more worthwhile!
The staff are all warm and welcoming. They are helpful and friendly. My mum has been in Ferrol Lodge for eight years and has been well looked after. There are always things going on such as entertainers and therapy animals. They have little visitors from the local nurseries. Celebrations always include family and friends. If you have concerns the staff always listen to them and try to help.
Thank you for your kind feedback. The team work hard to give all our residents a positive experience and build relations with their loved ones. I will pass on your feedback.
I have only the highest praise for the staff and their care at Ferrol Lodge. They were absolutely brilliant with my mum. She was incredibly well looked after, and I would like to thank them so much. It is very difficult to place your loved parent in a care home, but I was entirely happy that my mum was in safe hands and that the staff were going to look after her in as loving and safe way as possible. It has a very family-orientated environment and is very personal. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Thank you for your kind review, Janet - I will be sure to share this with the team. Your mum was a pleasure to care for. I hope you and your family are well. Take care.
My father has had a short stay here and we have been more than happy with everything about the home, everyone who works there is lovely and can’t do enough for my dad. I would highly recommend Ferrol Lodge.
Thank you for your kind words and review. Your dad has been a pleasure to care for and we wish you both well. Take care.
My brother and I are really happy with the care given to our mum at Ferrol Lodge. She's thrived since coming here last September. The staff are great with the residents, they're really caring, seem to know mum well know and treat her accordingly, and always have time to talk about any questions or concerns we may have. It's great that there are activities for the residents and good to see them on social media too!
Thank you for your kind comments and review. I'll be sure to let the team know!
We have experience of several different care homes over the years with various relatives and Ferrol stands out for the excellent standard of care so I would have no hesitation in recommending it. The house itself is very homely and doesn't feel like a care home at all. I've also noticed that the other residents seem to be pretty contented and it's just a really nice environment.
On a practical note, it is also very handy for getting into the town centre, with a wheelchair where there is a good selection of cafes and shops.
Thank you very much for your review. We will continue to strive to maintain the best care for all residents. I will be sure to inform staff of your review. Many Thanks
We visited a few care homes that were on the list, but none were like Ferrol Lodge, as soon as we walked in we knew this was the one for Mum. Homely, not too big, gorgeous dining room, lovely lounge, great garden. Staff caring. I would highly recommend Ferrol Lodge to anyone.
Thank you very much! I will be sure to inform the staff of your kind comments.
They are very supportive towards family and always exude professionalism.
I particularly like the way they speak to residents, treating them all kindly.
The dining room always looks very nice with fabric napkins fanned out.
That extra mile makes all the difference.
Thank you very much for your kind words! I'll be sure to share it with the team.
Ferrol Lodge is an outstanding care home. My mum had the pleasure of spending the latter part of her life here. Home from home. Warm and welcoming with an excellent team of caring and compassionate staff. The care and support we received was first class and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this home for your loved ones.
Ferrol Lodge is a very comfortable homely atmosphere with a caring environment. Staff very caring. Good communication. Is has a very family atmosphere. Bedrooms are bright clean and comfortable furniture little jaded could be updated. Dining room beautifully laid out with table cloths and napkins. Good extra facilities hairdresser, chiropodist and days out. Mum very happy.
This care home is very homely. The staff go out of their way to provide a caring family establishment, during the period of time my aunt was resident she not only had a lovely room but she was included in activities, parties and the festive run up to Xmas which I am sure she will remember forever. The whole team are a credit to the establishment. All of which I would love to name individually. I am sure there is no care home as homely and I have done my research believe me. Please don't waste your time in Trafford looking for anywhere else for excellent care home.
