The staff at the home are very friendly and caring. The residents are well treated and looked after. I can find no fault with the home. Would recommend to other people.

Ashleigh has been brilliant with my mother. She has been a resident there since 2nd August 2018. In the last 12 months, she has put on weight, is being well looked after, cared for and has a good relationship with both staff and residents. Her food is good, well balanced and varied. As well as activities,
there are also regular visits by a hairdresser and chiropodist. I could not wish for a better place for her to be.

My mum has been a resident here for 5 years. She settled well and has had excellent care throughout. I know that she is safe and well looked after by very kind and caring staff. That means such a lot.
Management is good and standards are maintained to a good level.
If any incidents occur the staff
let me know straight away. I'm very satisfied with the way things are dealt with.

96 year old mother with Alzheimer's was transferred when she came to Ashleigh. Before she was miserable and not looking after herself. At times she was a danger to herself and others regarding cooking etc. Now she is very pleasant and pleased to be here.

My Mum has had dementia for 8 years, she really never wanted to go into residential care, and I agreed with her. We did our best to keep her at home, but in the end, it wasn’t in her best interests as it wasn’t safe for her to be on her own for even a short period of time. I researched several care
homes in our local area, but as soon as I walked into Ashleigh, I knew it was the place for Mum. Mum refers to the staff as “the family”, and that is just what it is like in Ashleigh, one happy family. The owner, managers and carers at the home have created a lovely homely feel within the premises. My Mum has been a resident at this care home for almost two years and every time I have visited her, which is three or four times a week, I always find the staff very caring towards all the residents, and visitors, nothing is too much trouble for them. Mum is in safe hands, looked after and cared for with compassion, dignity and respect. I would like to thank all the staff who work there.

The first thing that hits you is always a friendly greeting which comes across as genuine. Then you notice how clean it is, which says a lot about the people working there. It's very rare you hear any complaints from friends or family if any at all. I would definitely recommend the home to anyone looking
for somewhere for their loved ones. We looked all over for the right home and this one ticks all the boxes. It's very important that you know they are going to be happy and safe because it’s hard for all the family to make the decision to put them somewhere with complete strangers. I hope anyone reading this takes the time to have a look at the home. I don’t think you will regret it.

My experience visiting this care home is good, I find it a very gentle and caring home for 12 residents who are living there. There is a feeling of warmth and a welcome at each of my visits. (weekly) There is a comfortable lounge and a recently refurbished dining room and residents are allowed to wander
around at their will. Food appears good and nourishing. Toileting and bathing facilities are adequate and a regular rota of bathing is encouraged. Stairs can be used under supervision but a lift is available for ladies whose bedrooms are upstairs. These bedrooms are adequately furnished for all requirements and are always kept clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely kind and thoughtful and offer a high standard of care, nothing seems to be too much trouble, they display a great deal of patience.

On my visit to my mother, the home is always clean and tidy. Staff are always friendly and on hand for any help with information that may be needed about my mum's health. Also they always tell the family what mum has been up to that week.

A relaxed and non-hectic visit. Grandparent free to walk around and chat to whoever she wants. Lovely chat with one of the care workers who engaged my grandmother in the conversation. Nice and tidy, nothing out of place.

Ashleigh is a very friendly run care home that is staffed by ladies who are so professional in everything they do. Staff treat residents with respect and give them dignity. When leaving my parent after visiting her I leave with confidence and peace of mind knowing she is being well looked after.
Simple
activities are given to all residents with the help and care of the staff. These activities help maintain happiness and give confidence to them to reassure them that they are being looked after.

I cannot praise the people/carers at Ashleigh enough...my mum has been with them since late last year and I wouldn't want her to go anywhere else, the staff are extremely caring and considerate of my mum's conditions and needs and I feel it's the best place for her in her condition with Dementia. They
take time and care to always make the ladies nicely dressed and cared for...well done Ashleigh you are a credit to your profession.
