Excellent service, Lindsey was brilliant with my mother in law when doing the assessment and settling her into the home for respite, the home is beautiful, clean and very well looked after, all the staff are fantastic and very caring of all residents and service users.
Thank you so much for the Review, it means so much to the Carers and the Management Team. We are so happy that you are happy with Home. I will pass your feedback on to the team.
Townfield Coach house Great Harwood is absolutely amazing. My mum came to stay in November 25 as my dad had suddenly past away. From the moment my mum entered the home the care and needs where met with care, love and understanding of such a cruel condition as dementia. My mum was in a safe, warm place that felt like home. All the staff and management go above and beyond to give 100% to their patients. I myself have been greeted when visiting my mum with warmth and support and always offered a hot drink or even a chat. The home has a fantastic range of activities on a daily basis. Sadly my mum is coming to end of life but I know she is in a beautiful environment for her last days.
Thank you for your kind feedback, we will pass this onto the team.
Mum has been with you for a month now due to vascular dementia and her husband (dad) going into care with severe Alzheimers in 2021. She did cope after this but eventually started to isolate and felt lonely and needed companionship eventually leading to a loss of appetite and not eating and weight loss. Thanks to yourselves she now has a new lease of life and is back to her old self. I can' t thank you enough for your staff support and all the effort your staff put in to keeping all the residents occupied, looked after and loved (and very well fed). It means alot to mum and takes a weight of my shoulders, the secondary being negligible. THANK YOU.
Thank you so much for the review, it means alot to all the Care Team. I will share this feedback with them all. Thank you! We are glad your mum settled in so well.
The staff are very friendly very helpful nothing is to much trouble everyone seems happy and content The staff are brilliant with residents they take the time to understand the needs of the residents
Thankyou for your feedback, we will share this with the team.
Mum has recently moved into the home and it's still early days, but already it's very clear she is happy and well looked after. She has settled in much quicker and easier than I could have dared to hope. She seems to be thriving with all the activities and the excellent interaction with all staff. The home gives a very homely atmosphere, and was by far the best one I visited when initially searching for the right home for her and I'm so happy she's doing so well.
Thank you for a great review. I will pass this on to the Care Team.
My grannie was a resident for a short period of time toward her final months of life. I cannot thank the manager and the staff enough for how they cared for my grannie during her final stages of life- nothing was too much for them. The manager was great, very compassionate, understanding, and caring towards not only my Grannie but toward myself and the rest of our family while we were going through such a hard time. I don't think thank you will ever be enough for how much we appreciated our final days with our loved one.
Thank you for your feedback and review we will pass this on to the care team. She will be missed by us all.
My auntie was a resident at Townfield for 8 years. A lovely home and the staff are very kind, caring and patient - with one lady in particular that was wonderful; always smiling and chatty. I am in awe of them all. The place itself is a really nice home, with a good atmosphere. There are lots of activities and my auntie was really well looked after by the amazing staff. I highly recommend this care home.
Thank you for you feedback. We will pass your feedback onto the team.
Carers are compassionate and calm. Very understanding of the needs of a patient with Alzheimer's disease.
All the staff are amazing with my grandma, especially one lady. A massive thank you to her.
Highly recommend.
Been blown away by this care home - they are all amazing.
Thank you for your kind feedback; we will pass this on to the care team.
My mum has been at this care home for twelve months she loves it! She has got a better social life than me there are lots of activities for her to get involved in. The staff are brilliant with my mum and I have peace of mind that she is being well looked after.
Thank you for the review, I will pass this on to the staff and management.
My mother-in-law has been in for over 12 months here but has been in previously for respite and enjoys herself, she has had a new lease of life. She enjoys it when the young children come in to visit, joins in all the activities, the first one on the dance floor when they have someone in musical or singing, loved by all the staff.
Thank you for the review, I will pass this on to the staff and management.
Very homely and careful people.
Thank you for your feedback, we will pass this onto the team.
My grandma has been to this home a few times for respite care and she liked it that much she wanted to live there permanently. Grandma has special dietary needs and they go above and beyond in catering for her needs. She gets on brilliantly with everyone, staff and residents. She has made lots of new friends. There is always something going on activity wise, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, dominoes and quizzes and many more activities. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff, they always make time for her and everyone. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a care home at any time.
Thank you for your fantastic feedback, we are so pleased your grandma has settled and enjoys living at Townfield. We will pass this on to the team.
Mum was here on respite and was cared for really well, seemed happy and healthy. Care staff seem to really care and nothing seemed too much hassle for them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.
Thank you for your feedback, we will pass this on to the care team.
My mum has lived at Townfield Coach House for over two years now. The care she receives has been good. She seems totally settled. All the staff that work there are really nice and helpful. Before covid, we could go into the home and visit Mum at any time and unannounced, which speaks volumes to me. The owners are readily available for any information you require. A good home.
Thanks for your feedback. I'll pass this on to all the Staff and Kath.
My brother has enjoyed excellent residential care from Townfield Coach House Care, he is comfortable and feels part of the home. The staff and management are kind and gentle with him, in such a professional, caring way. For my part, I have an excellent relationship with the manager and all the staff. I am kept up to date at all times.
Thankyou for your kind feedback, we will pass it onto the team.
Mum has been looked after well during the pandemic. As soon as government guidelines allowed, the home implemented them so initially, we were able to see Mum in a pod and then her room, this was amazing. Infections have been picked up and her stay in hospital was all dealt with by the experienced staff. Thank you for this, Mum continues to deteriorate but she knows she will be cared for really well.
Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate this and will pass it onto the team. With thanks.
My mum was admitted in December 2020 during the Covid pandemic. I expected that the consequential isolation and lack of visitors would make transition from home to care home very difficult. To the credit of all the staff at Townfield, this was not the case. All Mum has ever said is that everyone is so kind, respectful and inclusive. The staff are also very diligent in respect of Mum's health care needs. It is so reassuring to know that Mum is happy and safe in such a caring environment.
Hi Sue, Thank you for your feedback, we will ensure this is passed onto the care team. We are really pleased that your mum has settled in so well.
There is a very homely and happy atmosphere amongst the staff, which transpires to the residents. The management and directors are always happy to answer any questions. There does seem to be a good atmosphere across the board.
The food is all homemade to an excellent standard and whenever my mum's nutritional needs have altered these have been met.
I am so glad we chose Townfield Coach House for my mum's care, and we can't thank them enough.
Thank you for your feedback, Janice, it is a pleasure to care for your mum, and the support you and your family offer is much appreciated.
The staff were absolutely wonderful with him, so friendly and caring, and go above and beyond to make sure not just my grandad but all the residents are getting the best quality of care.
We can’t thank them enough for making our grandad happy and settled with his short stay with you.
Thank you very much; you are all very much appreciated!
Thank you for your feedback, we will pass this onto the everyone in the team.
I have the greatest respect and admiration for the staff and managers at Townfield Coach House Care. Without exception, they have all demonstrated a high degree of care and compassion, whilst still being professional and following government guidelines, during the current Covid-19 outbreak. They have responded to relatives/friends concerns during the lockdown by setting up a video calling account, enabling residents and families/friends to stay connected; this has been a lifeline. Staff have continued to provide our loved ones with motivating daily activities, tasty menus, musical entertainment, keeping them both engaged and happy, as well as providing extra treats such as introducing a sweet trolley. Staff go the extra mile for the people in their care, and I am confident that my dear friend is safe and well cared for and, just as importantly, she is valued as an individual too. I highly recommend Townfield as a home that truly cares for and about each of their residents.
Thank you very much for your review, I will pass it onto the team who have been continuing to work so well during this difficult time.
