She is well fed, clean and tidy, and always has a smile for every member of staff, despite her advanced dementia. During the time mum has been at Victoria House there have been (rare) occasions where she has had physical health issues and these have always been dealt with with care and dignity by the team. Residents are able to express their individuality because the staff tailor activities to Residents interests. Its such a friendly place, its a pleasure to visit, not only our loved one but to interact with residents and staff. Victoria House has been the best thing to happen to mum since her dementia diagnosis.

Mum moved into Victoria House 10 days ago. She is very anxious and does not adapt to a change in circumstances easily. All the staff have been amazing with her. They take time to explain things and to reassure her. In the short time mum has been at Victoria House she has seen a doctor, nurse, hairdresser, podiatrist and optician. She is receiving care and genuine warmth.

My mum entered Victoria House for respite, the staff were very welcoming and made my mum feel right at home. My mum always stated she never wanted to go into a home. But once there, she settled in quickly, she has lovely company with other residents and the staff can't do enough for her. She now has the luxury of enjoying company and doing activities or returning to her room for some relaxing me time, watching TV or doing her word searches. Highly recommended.
