Mum has been here for 2 years and she is so well looked after. The home is just like a normal way of life and is always warm and welcoming at any time of day. We feel lucky that she is here as all the staff are caring and considerate under the circumstances.

My mum has been in Hawkhurst for just over two years now, with Alzheimers. Although the disease is a horrible disease to watch your loved one go through, Hawkhurst has made it more bearable. I honestly don't think I could have got through it without their help and support. My mum always seems happy and content and especially well looked after. Hawkhurst and their staff provide me with peace of mind knowing my mum is safe and happy.
The home is lovely with brilliant staff and management. I think a little flower bed or vegetable patch would be very therapeutic for them.

When it was decided that my mum needed to go into a care home, this home was recommended by a doctor as it was a lovely home and was very good. The doctor was right, my mum settled in, and I was happy with everything I saw. I enjoy visiting my mum, even though my mum has vascular dementia, she always seems happy and gets to do things she enjoys still (playing the piano). My mum doesn't talk much now but the staff help my mum eg. painting her nails, getting her hair done, hands creamed and massaged. My mum always looks clean and seems happy, thanks to the staff.
My sister recessives very good treatment and seems to be very happy.

My brother has been a resident at the care home for the past eight years and I visit twice most weeks. I have always been happy with his care and have had a good relationship with the staff.

My brother has been in the home for eight years and seems quite happy and contented. Any issues we have had with the staff have always been sorted out in a proper manner.

Our mother has been here approximately 8 years. She has been well looked after during that time. We have an excellent rapport with the caring staff who keep us fully informed of mothers care and needs.
