Aaron House is a twenty-five capacity Sheffield care home that has benefitted from significant refurbishment in order to offer modern care standards in an environment that is homely and comfortable.

A friendly care team are well qualified and equipped to pursue high standards of care, aided by a home-cooked food menu, activity programmes and pleasant surroundings.

When you visit, the first thing that hits you is the mouth watering smells from the kitchen. When you get into the home, it is impeccably clean and the staff always meet you with a smile. There are a number of rooms that the residents can sit in outside of their bedrooms, and the activity room is a
lovely place with a number of board games to choose from where it overlooks the lovely garden. I am so pleased/relieved that my mum is living at Aaron House and a relief that her needs are being met.

The staff here are brilliant, the cook, cleaners and management are second to none. They all treat me with respect and dignity, as they do a wonderful little friend who lives here that I come and see often. You must come and visit this place to meet the wonderful staff members, they all work so hard

My relative is well cared for, her needs and likes and dislikes are known. She needs extra attention to move around and this is accommodated easily by caring staff... and constantly supplied with tea which she loves.

My nan has been in Aaron House for 2 years and has been very happy there from the first day. I was very worried about her going into a care home as she didn't want to go. But from the minute she got here, she was fine and loved the company and the food. I will be forever grateful to all the staff at
Aaron House for making this transition for her a great one. I can't recommend the staff enough. I always feel welcome there and nothing is too much trouble.

It should be noted that I can only comment on the limited knowledge I have of the home - hence my inability to score all the categories.
My views are based on discussions with the service user and those with the staff, also from what I am able to see from the reception area (I do not visit any other
facilities/rooms).
I am impressed by staff from the manager down. All are attentive, informative, respectful and friendly both to me and the service user I visit. The home appears clean, well staffed (re numbers) and responsive - particularly given the fact that the service user is somewhat atypical of the 'standard' or 'traditional' client group membership.

My dad was placed at Aaron Court for emergency respite care, when Mum was admitted to hospital. The care and support from all the staff has been excellent and the care home was very clean and welcoming.
It appears to be very well run with excellent care staff. My dad enjoys the homecooked food very
much! He has also had a visit from a hairdresser and chiropractor. The whole place very much recommended.

We couldn't ask for any better care for our dad while Mum has been in hospital. He suffers from Alzheimer's and we were always worried about putting him anywhere. We've just taken Mum to visit him and he's in really good spirits and you can tell he's receiving amazing care. All the staff are unbelievably
patient with all the residents. We are now leaving Dad in longer, while Mum gets stronger after her time in hospital. If it comes to having to leave Dad in care full time, this would be our preferred care home, with no doubts.

During my mom's stay in Aaron House, all the staff have worked very hard to give her a good quality of life. Dealing with unforeseen problems arising quickly and efficiently and provide for her every need no matter how small.
For this excellent service my family will be forever grateful.

I have been visiting a friend in this home since 2021. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful both to myself and to my friend. She has been well looked after and cared for with dignity and thoughtfulness. I realise there is a limit to what staff can do but I have seen my friend's room,
although very clean and well cared for, was extremely small with limited personal space. I realise this was probably owing to cost and this is not a criticism, merely a comment. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication.

The care and support towards Mum has been wonderful. They have supported her on all levels and have been very kind and caring.

Very caring, friendly staff, that really make the effort to get to know the residents and become very in tune with them. A really nice atmosphere that makes it very homely. It took a while to find the right home for my Mum and I’m so pleased we managed to get her a place in such a lovely home.

The lovely staff at Aaron House residential home have been taking care of Mum for coming up to two years now, and I feel that the care she receives is of an exceptional standard. The care home staff are all attentive, friendly and available for any level of discussion concerning her well-being at any
time. I have no hesitation in recommending Aarcon House as a top-level care facility for elderly people. The staff show dignity and respect at all times, and it makes me very happy to know Mum is in such a caring environment.

My mum has only been a resident in Aaron House for a few weeks but cannot praise the care enough that she has received. She eats all meals, mixes with other residents. They have sorted doctors, dentist, and other medical care she requires. The staff keep our family up to date with all that is going
on to keep my mum safe and healthy. Can't thank them enough.

My family's experience at Aaron House has been excellent. Any questions we need to ask always get the time to answer and explain. Extremely friendly staff are relaxed and very happy with every aspect of Aaron House, very happy to have Aaron House as my mum's new home.

My 92-year-old mother was in the later stages of Alzheimer's and needed to move into a care home in July 2020, during the Covid 19 lockdown. Given the circumstances of not being allowed into the home to take mum in, or subsequently visit her, an already upsetting situation became even more distressing.
I cannot praise the manager and staff at Aaron House enough for their kindness and care to my mother and also to me. We expect care homes to care but there are different levels. The level of care at Aaron House was exemplary. My mother sadly died in March 2021. As her condition worsened the GP linked to the home was excellent, always willing to discuss things with me and very sensitive to the situation. The manager was in constant touch, updating me with every development. The care my mother received during the last weeks and days of her life could not have been better. She had constant, loving care from everyone in the home. It truly felt like a second family for mum.

My father received extremely good care whilst a resident at Aaron House (Jan - June 2019). He was comfortable and well looked after. The home was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely good and cared for all his medical and social needs. The support given to the home from the associated
GP surgery and district nurses was excellent. Being a small establishment and a good staff to client ratio, individuals received first-class attention. The whole of our family was very pleased with Aaron House, especially with the knowledge and understanding of the manager and the way she managed her staff and delegated responsibility.
