Home is well run, but there seems to be few is any activities for residents. Food is of good quality but lacks variety. Interior well maintained, but exterior needs tidying. Seems to be a permanent skip for rubbish outside. Staff are caring and approachable.
I also wanted to update you on the areas you highlighted. Our activities coordinator has now returned from maternity leave...
I have consistently found that the care provided by Aaron House is excellent. I am no longer able to care for my wife at home, but I am comforted by the standard of care provided by Aaron House. Staff are marvellous.
Thank you very much for your kind words and the recommendation for the care provided at Aaron House.
This care home in my beharue is a exlent and would send if my old relitive to stay here to be there for rest of their lives. knowing thro my vast expeirne Gil having stayed for 8 months so far
Thank you for your kind feedback. It's reassuring to know that you have had a positive experience whilst living at Aaron House.
Quality of Mum's care is excellent. All of the carers are kind, friendly and attentive. Mum has her favourites and smiles when she seems them. Residence is clean, smells lovely and well cared for. I'm always informed of any changes or potential concerns with regard to mum's health and well-being. Staff also contact me if mum needs any new items of clothing or spends for hairdresser etc. She seems to be happy at Aaron House and always looked forward to her lovely meals and treats. More than happy to recommend Aaron House as a really lovely residential care home for those with dementia.
Thank you very much for taking the time to give us such good feedback.
The standard of care is super and the home is always clean.
The quality of the food is excellent
My own mother worked in residential care for many years and held very high standards and I'm sure she would have been impressed with Aaron House
Thank you so much for your kind review. We all strive to provide a good standard of for people living at Aaron House but also realise the importance of interaction and treating everyone with dignity.
When you visit, the first thing that hits you is the mouth watering smells from the kitchen. When you get into the home, it is impeccably clean and the staff always meet you with a smile. There are a number of rooms that the residents can sit in outside of their bedrooms, and the activity room is a lovely place with a number of board games to choose from where it overlooks the lovely garden. I am so pleased/relieved that my mum is living at Aaron House and a relief that her needs are being met.
Hello Sue Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. I know that you live out of the area and that it's so important for you to know that your mum is safe and happy. We are all so pleased that we can continue to give you that reassurance.
The staff here are brilliant, the cook, cleaners and management are second to none. They all treat me with respect and dignity, as they do a wonderful little friend who lives here that I come and see often. You must come and visit this place to meet the wonderful staff members, they all work so hard to make this place work. I would truly recommend it on every level!
Excellent facilities, staff, and services. My Mother who is a very picky eater praises the food. They do go above and beyond.
Thank you very much for your review, we will continue doing our best for our clients. We are very pleased that your mother enjoys staying with us.
My relative is well cared for, her needs and likes and dislikes are known. She needs extra attention to move around and this is accommodated easily by caring staff... and constantly supplied with tea which she loves.
My nan has been in Aaron House for 2 years and has been very happy there from the first day. I was very worried about her going into a care home as she didn't want to go. But from the minute she got here, she was fine and loved the company and the food. I will be forever grateful to all the staff at Aaron House for making this transition for her a great one. I can't recommend the staff enough. I always feel welcome there and nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you very much for your review, we are glad to hear that you are happy with the care and support we are providing to your Nan.
My views are based on discussions with the service user and those with the staff, also from what I am able to see from the reception area (I do not visit any other facilities/rooms).
I am impressed by staff from the manager down. All are attentive, informative, respectful and friendly both to me and the service user I visit. The home appears clean, well staffed (re numbers) and responsive - particularly given the fact that the service user is somewhat atypical of the 'standard' or 'traditional' client group membership.
Thank you very much for your review, we really appreciate it. We will continue providing a high-quality service to all our residents.
It appears to be very well run with excellent care staff. My dad enjoys the homecooked food very much! He has also had a visit from a hairdresser and chiropractor. The whole place very much recommended.
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback it is so important for our care staff to be appreciated and we will pass this onto them and we value all feedback.
We couldn't ask for any better care for our dad while Mum has been in hospital. He suffers from Alzheimer's and we were always worried about putting him anywhere. We've just taken Mum to visit him and he's in really good spirits and you can tell he's receiving amazing care. All the staff are unbelievably patient with all the residents. We are now leaving Dad in longer, while Mum gets stronger after her time in hospital. If it comes to having to leave Dad in care full time, this would be our preferred care home, with no doubts.
Thank you for your review of our care home. We really appreciate it.
For this excellent service my family will be forever grateful.
Thank you very much for the review of our care home and the support we provided.
I have been visiting a friend in this home since 2021. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful both to myself and to my friend. She has been well looked after and cared for with dignity and thoughtfulness. I realise there is a limit to what staff can do but I have seen my friend's room, although very clean and well cared for, was extremely small with limited personal space. I realise this was probably owing to cost and this is not a criticism, merely a comment. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and dedication.
Thank you very much for your review. We really appreciate it, and we will make sure that we carry on with our good work.
The care and support towards Mum has been wonderful. They have supported her on all levels and have been very kind and caring.
Always showing consideration and respect.
Hi, thank you for your review. It was a pleasure looking after your mother and being able to care and support her when she most needed it.
The lovely staff at Aaron House residential home have been taking care of Mum for coming up to two years now, and I feel that the care she receives is of an exceptional standard. The care home staff are all attentive, friendly and available for any level of discussion concerning her well-being at any time. I have no hesitation in recommending Aarcon House as a top-level care facility for elderly people. The staff show dignity and respect at all times, and it makes me very happy to know Mum is in such a caring environment.
Very professional and friendly staff.
Well run, clean care home with friendly and professional staff.
My mum has only been a resident in Aaron House for a few weeks but cannot praise the care enough that she has received. She eats all meals, mixes with other residents. They have sorted doctors, dentist, and other medical care she requires. The staff keep our family up to date with all that is going on to keep my mum safe and healthy. Can't thank them enough.
Thank you for your lovely comments, it's lovely to receive such positive reviews.
