A hidden gem. All the staff are amazing who care for everyone on an individual basis whilst treating all the residents like one big family which is very comforting. A warm, friendly, welcoming home where nothing is too much trouble helping both residents and families. All the staff go above and beyond
their duties and are very supportive in many different ways. My dad is very well cared for and has improved since arriving in March.

My father in law had an assessment bed at Seven Hills. He received excellent care during his time here. The staff were very kind and compassionate. They did everything they could to make him as comfortable as possible. The care felt very personal and staff took the time to really get to know him. He
made good progress here regaining his strength and mobility. His needs are complex but were very well met here.

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
Home is well run, but there seems to be few is any activities for residents. Food is of good quality but lacks variety. Interior well maintained, but exterior needs tidying. Seems to be a permanent skip for rubbish outside. Staff are caring and approachable.
Reply from Parminder Puar, Group Operations Manager at Aaron HouseThank you for your feedback. We appreciate your positive comments about how well the home is run, the quality of our food and the caring and approachable nature of our staff.
I also wanted to update you on the areas you highlighted. Our activities coordinator has now returned from maternity leave and has relaunched a full, engaging programme of activities for our residents'. Regarding food variety, we recently carried out a residents' food survey, which showed they were happy with current options. That said we are reviewing our menu for the summer, and we will be using this opportunity to explore additional variety while keeping residents' preferences at the centre.
The skip outside is due to our ongoing internal refurbishment which is nearly complete. Once finished, we will tidy and refresh the exterior to match the inside.
If you would like to share any further comments, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We value your input and are always keen to continue improving

After quite a few recommendations about Darnall Grange our mum was transferred from another home. We are so pleased with Mum's care. She is always clean, well-fed and cared for. Nothing is too much trouble from all the staff, who are very friendly, welcoming and polite, very dedicated to their residents.
The food quality is good and plentiful. A well-run care home. Thank you team for taking care of our mum.

Amazing
We had been forgotten about by local council. Mum had been deemed too vulnerable to live alone (with visiting carers). We were struggling to get anywhere. Place offered by White Rose. Kelly manager v proactive, recognised our predicament and got things moving.
Mum v old, frail with alzheimers/
dementia and v v anxious re upheaval/ change of routine etc. Mum made to feel soooo welcome and we were/ are supported too. Nothing has been too much trouble. Once settled here we think she'll improve socially and emotionally. Can already seen some evidence of this. Home so well run, so well maintained and atmosphere friendly and supportive. We are so glad that this small home had a room for mum.
After quite a tough time we are all in a better place.
Reply from Kelly Green, Manager at White Rose CourtThank you so much for such kind words. It was our absolute pleasure to help and we feel lucky to have your mum here with us at White Rose.

Just want to say a huge thank you to all staff. No matter what their role in the care home they are welcoming and friendly and provide a high level of care and dedication. They were absolutely amazing during our Dads final few days treating both Dad and his family with the utmost respect and dignity.
They went out of their way to ensure we were ALL cared for with great compassion and dedication. Thank you for the wonderful care you have given our Dad and the obvious fondness you showed him. We truly are extremely grateful to such a friendly and dedicated team.

I am very happy with my husband who suffers with dementia and is in the later stafes, has settled in and is more relaxed than he has for a long time. The staff are amazing, caring and friendly and approachable, as are the management. No one wants to agree for their loved one to be taken into care and
I don't think myself and my family could have found a better place for him to be.

Seven Hills Nursing Home

Mum has been at Seven Hills for the past 4 months, from when her dementia became too severe for her to remain at home. Since the very first meeting, mum and the rest of the family have been treated with kindness and dignity at all times. Mum has challenging needs - her behaviour is unpredictable, she
is at risk of falls, communication is poor and so on. And yet the staff at Seven Hills look after her attentively and with a smile on their faces at all times. The staff always report back to the family whenever there has been an accident or any event which affects her wellbeing - perhaps mum has fallen for example. As a result we feel involved with mum's care when we are not physically with her. Personally I am satisfied that mum is in a very suitable place her for health care.

My brother stayed at the home for his final weeks. From the beginning he was treated with kindness, dignity and compassion. Although this was a very difficult and emotional time for our family, it brought us comfort to know he was somewhere safe where people genuinely cared about him.

I visited regularly

so had the opportunity to get to know many of the staff and to see first-hand the care they provided. The care always felt very personal and thoughtful. Staff were attentive and patient, and they made sure he was comfortable and treated with respect at all times. It was clear that they cared about him as a person, not just as a resident.

Communication with the staff was very good throughout. They were always open and honest with me and kept me informed about how he was doing. They took the time to talk things through and answer questions, which meant a lot to both me and the rest of our family during such an emotion

Reply from Andreea Lupu, Home Manager at Seven Hills Nursing HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. We are truly sorry for your loss, and we feel honoured that we were able to care for your brother during such an important time.

Your kind words about the compassion, dignity, and personalised care shown by our team mean a great deal to us. We understand how difficult this period must have been for you and your family, and we are glad that we could provide some comfort and reassurance.

It is especially meaningful to hear that you felt well informed and supported throughout, as open and honest communication is something we deeply value.

We will be sure to share your words with the team, who will be very touched to know the difference they made. Thank you again for your trust in us during such a challenging time.

Best wishes,
Andreea

Visited Magdalen (in a rehabilitation placement) as it was her son's wedding day and she was too ill to attend, so we were surprising her with an afternoon tea and video link to the service. All staff, particularly Caron, the activities co-ordinator, were amazing. Polite, friendly, professional, going
the extra mile to support us in making Magdalen's day as special as it could be under the circumstances. It was really positive to find Magdalen in a chair aerobics class too on arrival! Simply first-class.

Darnall View was recommended to us last year when we needed to find a suitable home for Mum who has Alzheimer's, and there was some comfort in knowing people we know had such a good opinion of it.
Mum, whilst her illness has progressed, is settled and content in the home.
She is encouraged to join
in activities and the time is taken to find out about / do things that she is interested in.
Her health and personal care needs are well looked after and she is safe there which are the primary concerns a family could have when searching for care placements.
Since moving into Darnall View, Mums physical care needs have increased and the team have ensured suitable plans and care are in place to support her.
The staff are always friendly (to residents and visitors), interacting with residents, available if anything is needed and keep the family updated of anything of note or any changes.
