Twelve Trees is an award-winning, family-owned care provider in the leafy residential neighborhood of Nether Edge in Sheffield. Whether at their Care Home or through their Home Care and Day Care services, they provide the highest standard of care tailored to the individual needs of the people they care for.

Twelve Trees is proud to be the recipient of two Great British Care Awards; 2018 Dignity In Care and; 2019 Palliative Care Award.

The highly motivated and friendly team work together with residents and their families to ensure the care provided meets the needs and the goals of the people they look after. The home's ethos is to provide personalised, exceptional individual care by an experienced and happy team, many of whom have been with Twelve Trees for over 15 years.

Accommodation is offered in single and twin en-suite bedrooms. All rooms are fitted with a nurse call system, digital TV point, and telephone if required. Communal areas include air-conditioned lounges, a conservatory and dining rooms. All floors can be accessed via a passenger lift.

There is a conservatory and level memory garden with a variety of scented plants and herbs; a haven to relax or entertain in during summer months.

Traditional home cooking is served with a varied menu using ingredients supplied locally. The home was awarded five stars for its food hygiene in October 2016.

The activities coordinator plans weekly activities that are available to residents, as well as exercise classes, entertainment, aromatherapy, hairdressing, and trips and outings in the home's people carrier.

Twelve Trees is privately owned and has a sister company providing quality domiciliary care in Sheffield. The crossover of care services allows them to provide respite and convalescence in the care home.

Twelve Trees is an amazing care home where Mum is wonderfully looked after. The staff are lovely and caring, and Mum is very fond of them, they manage to help Mum's personality shine even through her dementia. The place has a welcoming and homely feel to it, less care homey than others we looked at.
The front garden is easy for Mum to get to and is lovely, and the hair salon is very on-trend! The activity calendar pre-Covid was full of different activities, visitors and outings, which was great for Mum because she's a sociable person.
The time that Mum moved into full-time care was incredibly difficult for Mum and for us as a family, the team at Twelve Trees helped us at a time when we needed it most. Thank you.

My mum was a resident at Twelve Trees for 4 years. Her care was exemplary during this time. We were particularly impressed with the end of life care given by the staff and other visiting health care professionals. The staff were friendly, approachable and professional.

My Mum lived in Twelve Trees after using their home care service. Lovely people, she was really happy all the time. Really clean and pleasant, they were always doing activities and going places. I would definitely recommend Twelve Trees Care.

My mum was a resident in Twelve Trees for eighteen months, until she sadly passed away in November 17.


Throughout her time there she was treated with care and compassion by everyone, she used to thoroughly enjoy the various activities and outings, and it was treated very much as their home.


In

the last few weeks Mum spent there, the care was second to none, she was treated with dignity and respect as we, her family, were too.

Staff are warm, approachable and friendly. The home feels like a home - not in any way clinical. The staff show genuine concern for both the residents and visitors. It feels like going to see my Mum and my friends.

Staff are friendly, approachable and professional. Activities are frequent and variable including outings locally and into wider community. Mum has been to Cleethorpes/local pub lunch/tea rooms. She is well cared for- dignified and clean. The home never smells and always looks clean and tidy but homely.
All residents appear happy. Minor concerns raised are dealt with and communicated across the team on most occasions. I cannot believe how well my mother has settled and her quality of life improved.

This is an extremely well-run care home. My mother in law spent a year here until her passing last month. She had advanced dementia but was always treated with dignity and kindness. All the carers knew her needs and were very attentive.
The home provided stimulating activities and trips out.
The
home allowed my mum to stay in the home until her passing (rather than hospital) and were extremely kind to us at this time.
