Willow Bank Care Home

My experience in Willow Bank Care Home has been very good. The staff are very helpful and willing to assist you in any way possible. Should a complaint arise, the issue is mentioned either to a member of staff or management. it is dealt with quickly and efficiently. Always to my & my family's satisfaction. The Manager is always available and frequently sees residents, families and staff, also joins in at mealtimes and activities when available

We are very pleased to have our mother staying at Willow Bank, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, our mother has settled very well thanks to the staff for making her very welcome, all the room are very clean and our mother says the food is delicious. Thanks

Mum moved into Willow Bank in May 2026, and she was immediately made to feel at home. The care she receives is exemplary. The staff show so much dedication are always smiling and treat everyone with respect my mum summed up how she feels when she said if I can't be at home then this is the next best thing.

My mum has been a resident since July 2025. She is blind and treated with so much respect from the staff. She is happy at Willowbrook as there is always a happy atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming and can't do enough. They look after all the residents really well. I visit 3 times a week and Emma the manager is lovely.

I have found Willow Bank Care Home professional and homely. My wife is cared for to a high standard and since she moved here her overall wellbeing both physical and mental has improved a great deal. She is happy here and I know she is safe and cared for.

I find the care given to my sister is excellent. I think she as settle here. Thank you.

Willow Bank is an exception care home, the staff are amazing and are well staffed and equipped to deal with people of a certain age with mental difficulties, I've booked my time there.

I have found the staff at Willow Bank absolutely amazing. My mum has been here for 6 years and the staff have always gone above and beyond to help Mum and us in everything they do. They are a fantastic team from top to bottom and I would highly recommend anyone to send family to be looked after at Willow Bank. P.S Thanks a million for everything you have done.

Our mother was at Willow Bank for just 11 months. During that time the care she received was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the carers. The senior carers were always up to date with Mum's health care issues and able to brief us when we called in. They also rang us promptly whenever there was a health issue. Unfortunately Mum's health deteriorated in her final months and she needed much more help and attention. Despite this increase in care needs there was no drop in the quality of the care. When Mum passed away, just before Christmas, the staff gave us all the time, support and care to say our goodbyes. Thank you Willow Bank.

Mum has been ill over the last month or so. Her care at Willow Bank has been fantastic due to the kind, caring staff of which some go above and beyond to cater for her needs. Well done Willow Bank. Couldn't wish for a better place for my mum and staff couldn't be nicer.

It is very good. Staff are very welcoming and will always be there to talk to when you need a word. The food is very good.

On the whole I have enjoyed living here, they look after you well and are very friendly, especially the daytime staff, but I have no complaints about anybody.

My experience since arriving here has been very good to excellent at times. The staff have always been attentive to my needs, and listening to other residents, their experience does not seem to be any different.

Willowbank would improve by providing better facilities and would help residents if more entertainment was provided.

The staff have created a most wonderful, family-feel atmosphere and there is always laughter and smiles amongst all the staff. They are always willing to assist and I feel I have made new friends amongst them. The patience and empathy they feel for their residents is evident. I would recommend Willow Bank to anyone.

Both my parents went into the home in August 2020, the first married couple. Covid was a big factor early on. Excellent care from all staff. They made one room a bedroom and the other a sitting room. Very good.

My mum went into Willow Bank in February 2022 after being in hospital for 5 weeks. She had lost two stone in weight in the prior 2 months due to illness. She was uncommunicative and wasn't eating. Since she has been at Willow she has put on all the weight she has lost, she is communicating and socialising and is happy again. Prior to being in hospital, Mum lived on her own and it became clear she could no longer carry on this way. The staff at Willow have helped both our mum, myself and my brother come to terms with her needing more help and they have been very helpful and kind. The premises are spotless and mum is kept clean and pots of cappuccino are provided at regular times during the day and during meal times. The staff are all friendly and there are lots of events happening to keep Mum busy when she wants to mix. They also put pictures on the Facebook page which I can share with other family members which have put all their minds at rest.

In the eleven years I have been here, I have been very happy.

My mum went in the care home this year and in my opinion the standard of care of my mum is amazing, she is always kept clean and tidy mum looks well cared for. I'm very happy the staff is very good with mum and always helpful. So overall I'm happy mum is staying there.

My mum is a fairly new resident at Willow Bank, unfortunately, she had to be admitted to hospital 3 times, within the first 3 weeks of her stay. However, the staff were very observant and assessed her needs immediately. On her discharge, she has been very well looked after and is now settling in nicely. The staff have been very helpful and kind to mum. I am able to take my 2 little doggies when I visit and this brings pleasure, not only to my mum but residents and staff alike. The newly refurbished room is lovely and the food looks delicious. I can't recommend Willow Bank enough! Thank you.
