As a new mum with a newborn baby, visiting can sometimes be challenging, but the staff have always been incredibly helpful and accommodating, offering support whenever I have needed it. Their kindness and understanding have made every visit much easier.
Whenever my stepdad has been unwell, the staff have been amazing at keeping me informed, providing regular updates, and taking the time to reassure me. Their communication and compassion have helped keep me calm during what could otherwise have been very worrying times.
Every visit I make, often unannounced, reassures me that he is happy, comfortable, and very well cared for.
This is a well run care home where nothing is too much for the patients and visitors alike The staff at kind and caring and do a difficult job with a smile. Lots of activities and care for all Each person is shown dignity and care to a high standard
The service provides activities should people choose to engage, and the meals and snacks are ample and of good nutrition.
Management at Lee Mount is amazing, thoughtful, and considerate. They keep us updated with my father's well-being and are passionate about running a 5-star service for all the Lee Mount residents who Lee Mount class as family members.
I wholeheartedly recommend Lee Mount care home.
Thank you T for your kind words. We are truly grateful you took the time to share your experience. We will share the positive feedback with the staff team.
I would just like to say every time I visit my sister the staff are amazing with her and also the other residents. This is the best place my sister has stayed at, I am at ease knowing my sister is well cared for.
My Mom was a resident at Lee Mount Care Home for 4 years and the whole time she was there she looked on the staff as her family. They gave her the care and love that she needed and she loved them back! We call it Lee Mount Holiday Home because she had more social activities than we do! Unfortunately, she passed away in January but she was happy and comfortable and the staff did everything they could to make her passing as peaceful as possible. She loved her time at Lee Mount and as a family we knew she was safe and well looked after! We can't thank the staff and management enough!
Thank you for your kind words Maureen and thank you for taking the time to complete the review. It is much appreciated by us all at Lee Mount Care Home
My dad moved into Lee Mount recently from a residential care home who were unable to provide the necessary level of care as Dad's dementia progressed. Two months on there's been a major improvement in his personal care and he is just so much happier. The staff are very patient and caring with him and, for the first time in nearly two years, he's been going on outings. The home put a lot of thought and effort into keeping the residents active and engaged. I am very glad that he is in such good hands.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly value your input and are grateful for your honest thoughts.
My father moved to Lee Mount around four ago and we have seen a noticeable improvement in his wellbeing. There are a couple of areas where Lee Mount really excels. Firstly, the residents are involved in numerous activities increasing interactions and providing stimulation. This has resulted in a marked improvement in quality of life. Secondly, there is excellent communication; keeping family informed and providing updates and regular postings on social media is really helpful. It provides great peace of mind. Leadership is visible and hands-on and residents are treated with patience, encouragement and respect.
Thank you for the lovely feedback it is much appreciated.
We now feel confident that he is happy with life again. Before going to Lee Mount he was getting a bit fed up with everything, but now he has got a new lease of life.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We're so glad to hear that you're pleased with the care. It's truly rewarding to know our efforts are making a difference.
Any time I visit, I'm also looked after and accommodated for!
I have a great deal of peace knowing she's looked after by the guys and girls at Lee Mount Care Home.
Thank you for your kind feedback. We are happy to hear that you're satisfied with the service, and it's wonderful to know that our team's efforts have had a positive impact.
The caring is on the whole very good. There are times when assistance is requested at night when it is not forthcoming in a timely manner, note this is the opinion of a 92-year-old client. The food is on the whole ok. Whilst the buildings are old and somewhat cramped the level of care which is the most important issue is very good.
Staff show empathy and patience with the residents. They tailor the care to each individual's needs and wants. They show kindness and respect. There is always something going on to stimulate and interest the residents. No one is pressured to join in any of the activities, but gentle encouragement helps everyone to feel included and valued. There are lots of initiatives and ideas for how to keep residents occupied, including walking outside, trips out and parties and celebrations.
My father-in-law is safe and happy. He is kept occupied mentally and physically as much as possible. My feelings are taken into account in all aspects of care. He is encouraged to self care where possible. He goes out on trips using access bus or wheelchair taxis.
The activities keep my mum busy, she has a proper sleep routine, and she is encouraged to eat and drink regularly and does so.
My mum also enjoys trips to town, going out for coffee, trips to local shops, parties, themed days, and getting her hair and nails done. All the things we struggled to get Mum to engage with are done with a smile here, from the staff and my mum. Staff take plenty of photos too.
We visit most days, but sometimes before bed, my mum just needs to hear my voice, staff ring me and I have a chat with Mum, just like she did when she was in her own home.
I am contacted regularly and informed of any changes or concerns. Likewise, any concerns I have are dealt with. Lee Mount staff work so hard and we will be forever thankful.
Thank you for the lovely feedback it is much appreciated.
Friendly staff and management, Mum really enjoys her days here and all the new friends she has made. Would recommend Lee Mount Residential Care Home to others and hoping to high hope, when needed, that mum is full-time care here.
My mother has been a resident at Lee Mount for a couple of years. She has recently had surgery on her hip and has lost a lot of confidence in walking, the staff are constantly encouraging her with her rehabilitation and hopefully rebuild her confidence. The home provide a wide range of activities throughout the year. Communication about Mum is regularly provided and is much appreciated.
Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot to us all at the service. Thank you for your continued support.
Everything Lee Mount do is excellent, we are always informed about any changes regarding Mum and her health.
The activities they have on offer are excellent and looking at photos everyone is involved and enjoying them.
Thank you for your lovely words, it is much appreciated by all the team.
Our mum has been in Lee Mount for a few weeks and she is very settled and content. She has just celebrated her 100th birthday and the team put on a fabulous day to help us all celebrate in style. The team at Lee Mount are very caring and provides mum with all the attention she requires. Our family highly recommend this care home.
My mother has only recently become a resident at Lee Mount. During this time of adjustment for us all members of staff have shown care and understanding in a very professional manner. They have spent precious time getting to know her, talking to her about her life and her likes and interests. This has enabled her to build relationships and feel valued. There's also a very high standard of communication for the family. I have been informed immediately of any concerns and felt reassured and included. I now feel confident about the care my mother is receiving. Thank you for all the hard work that goes into making Lee Mount a safe warm and welcoming environment for the residents and family members.
The management and staff are very caring people.
They treat our mum with dignity and respect and are supportive to the family members. We as a family appreciation everything Leemount management and staff do for our mum and can never thank them enough.

Meet the Team (5)

My parents owned a struggling care home for 15 years. I joined 8 years ago with no experience to help turn it around.
I fell in love with the work and built great relationships with residents and coworkers. Leading the service allowed me to use my creative skills and contributed to our success. It’s been the best decision of my life

I was looking after my mum and this made me want to care for others. I was also interested in mental health nursing. At Lee Mount we provide EMI care, this would have been a stepping stone in that direction, but since being here I’ve not looked back.

I’m naturally a very caring person, I also want to contribute to the client's quality of life and specifically be part of improvements to their well-being positively. I always want the residents and relatives to feel supported, I enjoy being able to do this and build positive relationships

At the time it was a job I was young, I stuck at it because I enjoy ensuring that I can keep supporting people with their independence and I also learnt that I enjoy providing good end-of-life care.

I work in care because I’ve always needed to help others and improve their quality of life, I like to see the difference I’m making and make new friends and relationships. My work family are like a second family to me.
