Prior to coming to Lee Mount my mother was in hospital for a long time and was in a very poor state of health. Since coming to the home there has been a big improvement in her health, she has been there nearly two years now and her weight has increased. The quality of care that my mother receives is far better than the care that she received when she was living at home. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and take the residents to various activities outside the home. I feel that we made the right decision when placing my mother at Lee Mount and feel very happy knowing that she is very well taken care of.

Since coming to Lee Mount Care Home my mum has settled in very well. She has at all times been well cared for and looked after, with speaking with management it's clear that they are all interested in the resident's interests, and actively are planning new plans and outings and trips to keep the residents entertained.

I feel really comfortable and secure that my mum is getting really good and the best care at Lee Mount Care Home that she needs and deserves.

Overall Experience

My Mother in Law arrived at Lee Mount a year ago. We really did our research into finding somewhere suitable for her. To find Lee Mount was such a blessing. From the moment she arrived, she seemed to settle in well. They cared for her above and beyond and showed real compassion and love for her and treated her with a great deal of respect and dignity. She, unfortunately, passed away last week and the end of life care she was given at Lee Mount was second to none. As I say, they all went above and beyond to check that her last weeks/days were spent in a warm, loving environment. They have offered tremendous support to my husband and I, also in the months/weeks and days leading up to her passing. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you to two certain members of staff all the team at Lee Mount for helping to make my mother in law comfortable and happy during her last year with us all. We are very very grateful to you for everything.

Overall Experience
The care that my dad received during his time at Lee Mount residential home was second to none. He was in the late stages of dementia and also suffered from prostate cancer, which meant that he required 24 hour care. He was treated with kindness and dignity, never left on his own and the staff were attentive and caring. The care that he received was exemplary and professional.
On arriving at the home, he had spent several weeks in hospital and arrived at the home in a desperate state. The staff took immediate action, he was washed and given clean clothes and given food and drink. When we visited him, his room was always spotlessly clean and warm. During his stay, he made some new friends and was happy. The staff interacted with the residents, giving them stimulating activities such as puzzles to keep them occupied.

My dad passed away peacefully and with dignity. Our family would like to thank the staff and owners of Lee Mount Residential Home on his behalf. Thank You!

My parents owned a struggling care home for 15 years. I joined 8 years ago with no experience to help turn it around.

I fell in love with the work and built great relationships with residents and coworkers. Leading the service allowed me to use my creative skills and contributed to our success. It’s been the best decision of my life

I was looking after my mum and this made me want to care for others. I was also interested in mental health nursing. At Lee Mount we provide EMI care, this would have been a stepping stone in that direction, but since being here I’ve not looked back.

I’m naturally a very caring person, I also want to contribute to the client's quality of life and specifically be part of improvements to their well-being positively. I always want the residents and relatives to feel supported, I enjoy being able to do this and build positive relationships

At the time it was a job I was young, I stuck at it because I enjoy ensuring that I can keep supporting people with their independence and I also learnt that I enjoy providing good end-of-life care.

I work in care because I’ve always needed to help others and improve their quality of life, I like to see the difference I’m making and make new friends and relationships. My work family are like a second family to me.
